What Pagemaker is

Pagemaker is a landing page builder aimed at marketers, agencies, Amazon sellers and small ecommerce teams who want a conversion-focused page live in minutes rather than days. Its own blog describes the product as a mobile-first editor that gives you "the tools to build high converting landing pages, incredibly quick, through pre-designed template and modules." The same post says it was built "with the busy entrepreneur and solo business owner in mind." The homepage says "Over 7,000 people around the globe use Pagemaker to power their business," and its footer credits 7Span Internet Private Limited as the company behind it. Beyond single landing pages, the homepage says you can "Create an entire website in only a few hours" with the same tools, so a small business can build a short multi-page site as well as campaign pages.

What you build and how

Pagemaker is deliberately not a blank-canvas editor. The company calls its approach plug and play: you "select your template or modules and add your content in only a few clicks," and the page is done. It explains the choice on its blog: "We want to focus on conversions and not what looks good." Drag and drop, in its view, means "giving the user free reign to design a landing page without the strong understanding of conversion elements such as : above fold, call to actions, mobile experience." Its alternative is a mobile-first editor. You build in the mobile viewport, where the company says the majority of traffic arrives, and Pagemaker "automatically makes each viewport responsive." The homepage repeats the point: pages are "Responsive on all devices automatically when you build in mobile first." The company claims a full conversion-focused page can be built "In under 15 minutes." One customer on the homepage says "I can build a landing page in 20 minutes."

The building blocks are templates and modules. Modules are pre-made page sections you add "in a single click," and templates are complete pages built from them. The homepage headline count is 500+ modules and 100+ templates, and another passage on the same page invites you to "Choose from over 500+ conversion focused templates and modules." The blog gives a lower template count, 60+ in one paragraph and 65+ in another, alongside 500+ modules, so the library has grown over time. The homepage says new templates and modules are added every day, and the blog put the pace at "2 new templates every week."

All templates are designed by Landing Page Dude, which the blog calls Pagemaker's "brother agency" and the homepage describes as "An expert CRO agency that works with brands like Kylie Cosmetics, Byte, and ShineOn." The company says it takes the successful landing pages it builds for Landing Page Dude clients and brings them over to Pagemaker, and that a "strict quality assurance review process" checks every template and module for load speed, appearance on all viewports and conversion before upload. A dedicated in-house team designs and develops them.

The conversion toolkit the blog lists includes GEO IP Dynamic Text Replacement, which swaps page text based on the visitor's location, a Countdown Widget, Pop Ups, a Lead Magnet block, a Native Form for capturing leads and the mobile-first editor itself. Leads collected through forms are stored inside Pagemaker: the homepage describes "Email storage and management with direct integrations to your apps."

Selling is built in. The homepage says you can "Sell digital and physical products using our native eCommerce integrations," use ecommerce templates and "integrate your 1-click checkouts in minutes." It names Stripe, Razorpay and PayPal "and more," and adds Dynamic Coupons for promotions. A "Sell on Amazon" section sits in the main navigation, and the company runs a Facebook group it describes as "a community of Amazon sellers using Pagemaker," which shows where much of its user base comes from: sellers who drive traffic from ads and social posts to a promo page before sending buyers on.

The marketing toolbox, in the homepage's words, covers "real time analytics, custom domains, native integrations, lead storage, free hosting and so much more." It adds "Lightning fast CDN hosting for optimized page performance," "Native integrations with all of your favorite applications" and a "Full real-time campaign analytics and dashboard module." Performance is a stated priority: the blog says templates are "optimized and tested to load lightning quick," and that "Pagemaker uses a CDN network and built in tools to optimize images and content on your landing page."

Some features sit on the roadmap rather than in the product. The blog says "multi-variate testing, and AI copywriting" are "features that will soon exist on Pagemaker," and describes AI copywriting as "still in production." The same post set a goal of one of the most extensive content libraries of any landing page builder "by the end of 2022," which dates it.

For the visitor who lands on a finished page, the experience is a fast page designed for a phone first, with a lead form, a countdown or pop-up where the builder added one, and a one-click checkout for a product, hosted on Pagemaker's CDN under the customer's own domain if they connect one.

Plans, trial and support

The homepage offers a "14 Day Free Trial" with "No credit card required." The blog post lists 2 paid plans at "$25/month and $99 month" and says "All of our plans" come "with unlimited traffic and templates," so plans are not priced by visitor volume. That same post also invites readers to "Start with a free lifetime plan," while the homepage now leads with the trial. The paid plans are not named on these pages, and the prices come from an older post, so the current pricing page is the place to see them as they stand.

Support is a strong theme. The homepage lists "Free Support" and "Incredible Customer Support," and a "Speak to Human" panel says "We will answer all of your questions" with a chat button. Self-help comes through Learning Videos, a learning portal, a YouTube channel and a Discord server, alongside the Facebook group. There is an affiliate program for people who refer new users.

4 named users are quoted on the homepage. Lisa R., at an Amazon agency, says "I manage multiple eCommerce brands and we use Pagemaker to build promos and landing pages," adding that "we save a lot of time and money using this software." Kent Lucky B., a WordPress developer, says "The mobile-first feature and super fast loading times are a big plus! I'm not really good at designing or front-end stuff, so Pagemaker is really what I need." Ganesh K., an Amazon seller, praises the templates and adds "Good support. The founders are awesome!" Julian M., an account executive, says "Seems like every day there are new templates and updates on the roadmap." These are quotes the company chose to publish.

Who it suits and who it does not

Pagemaker suits a seller or marketer who knows what a conversion page needs and would rather fill in a proven structure than design one. An Amazon seller running promos, a developer who dislikes front-end design work, a solo founder with a product to sell, or an agency producing many similar campaign pages for ecommerce clients will see the value in the module approach, the one-click checkouts and plans that do not meter traffic.

The caveats are real. The company is openly against drag and drop, so a designer who wants to place elements freely anywhere on a page will find the model restrictive, since layout comes from the modules on offer. Multi-variate testing and AI copywriting are described as coming rather than shipped, so a team that runs split tests as part of its routine will need another tool for that step. And the prices sit in an older blog post rather than on a current plan table, so budget on the live pricing page.
