What it is
Leadpages is a landing page and website builder aimed at marketers who measure pages by conversion. The company describes it as "a conversion rate optimization (CRO) platform for building landing pages, websites, and blogs that convert visitors into leads and customers," used by "solo marketers, agencies, and enterprise teams." The home page FAQ says the product was rebuilt from the ground up: "Same team, same 14-year track record. New technology." A/B testing, Smart Traffic, heatmaps and AI page creation are the new parts, and existing customers can keep their pages and choose the old or new experience.
What you build and how
You build landing pages, multi-page websites and blogs, all in one account. A page starts either from a template or from a description given to the AI builder. The company says the AI builder produces a complete, branded page in about 60 seconds, which you then edit in a drag-and-drop editor and publish after review. The FAQ says most users launch a first page in under 5 minutes. Templates are sorted by industry (SaaS, e-commerce, coaching, real estate) and by use case (opt-in, webinar, sales, event), and the library includes coming soon pages and thank-you pages. Every template is editable for colors, fonts, images and layout, is built mobile-first, and lets you adjust the mobile view separately. You can also save any page as a custom template to reuse across the account, and the site lists Brand Kits among its product areas for keeping styling consistent.
Publishing is built in. The company says it handles hosting, forms and A/B testing in the same tool. You connect your own domain with automated DNS setup and free SSL, and you can publish pages into a subdirectory such as yourdomain.com/offer. The company claims a median load time of 1.8 seconds on a global CDN, served as optimized static HTML without heavy JavaScript frameworks.
The Sites feature covers the websites category. A Site is a multi-page website that publishes on your custom domain, and the company says you can add, remove or edit pages by describing the change. It includes a built-in blog with categories, featured images, SEO metadata and an RSS feed, and AI can draft posts from a topic. The company's page says each page in a Site gets analytics for pageviews, unique visitors, conversion rates, scroll depth and click heatmaps, plus A/B testing on any page. The Sites page also says it offers 200+ native CRM integrations.
The optimization features are the center of the product. A/B testing and dynamic text replacement (changing page copy to match what the visitor searched or clicked) start at $99 a month. Smart Traffic, which the company says routes each visitor to the page variant most likely to convert them based on traffic source, device and past performance, starts at $199 a month along with heatmaps and auto-personalization. Heatmaps need no tracking snippet: data collection is built into every page at the Optimize tier. You open Heatmap Mode from the editor toolbar and choose Clicks, Scroll Depth or Attention. The overlay renders on a screenshot of your live page beside traffic, conversion, device and source figures. You can then move a button in the same editor session and create an A/B test variant from there. The company says heatmaps do not yet compare across A/B variants, which it lists as on the roadmap, and you can export heatmap screenshots as PNG files.
Forms collect leads on every page, and the FAQ says submissions are stored in Leadpages and can be sent in real time to your email marketing tool, CRM or a webhook. The FAQ counts 50+ integrations, naming Mailchimp, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel and Zapier, with native HubSpot and Salesforce connections and, through Zapier, 5,000+ apps that can be triggered when a lead submits a form, a page is published or a conversion happens. You can add GA4 tracking and a Meta Pixel to any page. The navigation also names Form Collection, Ecommerce, Visitor Intelligence, Ad Studio and an Optimization Score, and the pricing page says plans include lead enrichment. The partners page offers a full REST API and an MCP server for people building integrations.
Plans, limits and support
Leadpages publishes 3 plans: Grow at $99 a month ($79 a month billed annually), Optimize at $199 ($159 annually) and Scale at $399 ($319 annually). The company says each comes with a 7-day free trial and 20% off annual billing. Grow, for "Solo marketers and small teams starting CRO", adds manual A/B testing, dynamic text replacement and lead enrichment for 2K IPs a month. Optimize adds Smart Traffic, click and scroll heatmaps, auto-personalization, 10 active integrations and 24-month analytics. Scale, for agencies and enterprise teams, adds full auto-optimization, team seats and workspaces and a dedicated customer success manager. Every plan includes unlimited traffic, unlimited pages, custom domains with SSL and AI page creation, and A/B testing starts on Grow. The site says there are "no per-visitor overage fees" and "No traffic caps. Ever." The FAQ describes the trial as 7 days with full Grow plan access.
Limits scale by tier. The FAQ and Sites page state that Grow includes 4 custom domains and 4 sites, Optimize 6 and 6, and Scale 10 and 10. Heatmap data is retained for 24 months on Optimize and 36 months on Scale, and Scale adds a data warehouse export.
There is also a cheaper route called HTML Pub by Leadpages, which the pricing page describes as landing pages, websites and blogs with custom domains on the same engine. You can build and preview for free, and going live needs a paid publishing plan without A/B testing, Smart Traffic or heatmaps. Starter is $10 a month ($8 annually) for 5 pages, 1 custom domain and 4K AI credits a month. Pro is $29 a month ($23 annually) for 25 pages, 1 custom domain, custom slugs, API access, 5 GB storage, 1 blog, 90-day analytics, 12K AI credits and an MCP connector to publish from Claude or ChatGPT. Business is $49 a month ($39 annually) for 50 pages, 2 custom domains, 2 blogs, 12-month analytics and 20K AI credits. The company says your pages and domains carry over if you upgrade to a full Leadpages plan.
The FAQ counts 250+ templates across lead generation, webinars, sales pages, coming soon and thank-you pages. Live chat and email support are available on all plans, Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm CT, and the FAQ says Grow and Optimize customers get priority support with extended hours and free onboarding sessions to set up their first pages, integrations and A/B tests. There is also a knowledge base with docs and video tutorials and a community of marketers inside the dashboard. The pricing page header reads "400K+ served since 2012" and 9.1M+ leads a month, with ratings of 4.3/5 on G2 and 4.5 on Capterra.
Who it suits and who it does not
Leadpages fits a marketer or agency running paid campaigns who wants testing, personalization and heatmaps in the same place as the page editor, with no per-visitor charges that rise when a campaign works. The Sites feature makes it workable for a small business that wants its landing pages and a blog under one domain, and an agency gets 4, 6 or 10 sites per plan. A solo marketer gets the AI builder and a trial before paying.
It is a poorer fit if you want a free plan to keep pages live, since publishing needs a paid plan, and the lowest full plan is $99 a month. The advanced optimization tools (Smart Traffic, heatmaps, auto-personalization) sit on the $199 Optimize plan or above. And it is conversion-focused: the pages describe landing pages, sites and blogs, not apps.
