HighLevel
Tap a star to rate
HighLevel calls itself "the AI-powered business operating system": one platform where agencies, entrepreneurs and service businesses capture, nurture and close leads into bookings, sales, reviews and repeat customers. Instead of a separate CRM, email tool, landing page builder, automation tool and community platform, it bundles them into a single dashboard, and agencies can resell it to their own clients under their own brand. The site footer lists a corporate HQ in Dallas, Texas, and names the business as HighLevel LLC, a subsidiary of GoHighLevel Inc. The about page says the product began as a way to unify the marketing and sales stack for agencies and operators facing too many tools, and its timeline lists 5,000+ customers in 2020 and more than 60,000 in 2023.
What you build and how
The building blocks for the landing page reader are in the "capture" part of the product. The home page lists websites, funnels and landing pages, webinar funnels, forms, surveys and quizzes, a chat widget with Conversation AI, QR codes, call tracking, missed call text-back and an ad manager for Google, Facebook and Instagram ads. On the selling side it lists order forms, upsells and downsells, one-click upsell funnels, invoicing, estimates and proposals, paid calendars, payment integrations, Text-2-Pay, Tap-2-Pay, gift cards and loyalty programs. A captured lead lands in the built-in CRM with sales pipelines and lead scoring, so the page, the pipeline and the follow-up live in one account.
Follow-up runs through a consolidated conversation stream that the home page says covers SMS, Messenger, Instagram DM, WhatsApp and live chat, alongside email, appointment reminders, ringless voicemail, automated outbound call connect and broadcast campaigns over email, SMS, WhatsApp and Messenger. The ActiveCampaign comparison page describes this as two-way communication: you can send and reply to texts, emails and social messages, and automate replies based on keywords or phrases in a conversation. Smart lists and segmentation, birthday and seasonal campaigns, database reactivation templates and newsletter automation handle re-engagement.
For the workflow automation category, HighLevel includes workflows and automations for marketing, sales and operations. The community builder page describes automations triggered by behavior: new signups, engagement drops, course completions and inactivity can each start a personalized follow-up by email, SMS or in-app prompt. For agencies the key mechanism is a setup-copy feature, which the company says copies custom fields, values, forms, funnels, website pages, workflow automations, email templates and more from one client account to another in one action, so a setup built once can be rolled out to the next client.
AI runs through the product. The home page lists Voice AI, Conversation AI, Content AI, an AI business card scanner and AI review replies, and the community page says built-in AI can write posts, reply to members and generate content. The Keap comparison page notes that some AI features, such as AI-powered answering and automated lead follow-ups, are premium add-ons, and the site's disclaimer says AI features assist with specific tasks and may require human review.
For the membership and communities category, the community builder lets you launch a branded community space with your own logo and colors, bundle courses and memberships with gated content, paid tiers and drip schedules, and host live coaching calls, workshops, webinars and member hangouts inside the community. The FAQ says payments are built in through a Stripe integration, so you can charge members and collect recurring revenue without third-party add-ons. Community notifications can be sent automatically in each member's preferred language, and the FAQ lists Danish, German, English, Spanish, Finnish, French (France and Canada), Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil) and Swedish. A unified inbox gathers every DM, text, email and comment in one place.
Reputation tools round it out: automated review requests, website and video review widgets, video review capture and an affiliate manager for referral tracking. A mobile app, which the home page says supports video messages, lets you run the account from a phone.
For multi-client agencies, sub-accounts and white-labeling are the core of the model. The home page says agencies can white-label and resell the platform, and the Zoho comparison page mentions a customizable mobile app that agencies can offer clients. The top plan adds a SaaS Mode with automated sub-account creation, aimed at agencies that want to sell the software as their own subscription product.
Plans, trial and company figures
The pricing table on the home page and community page lists 3 plans. Starter is $97 a month, "Perfect for freelancers & solo marketers", with 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts, unlimited users, 24/7 support and all core features. Unlimited is $297 a month, "Built for growing agencies", and adds unlimited sub-accounts, user and agent reporting, rebilling of phone and email with no markup, and basic API access. Agency Pro is $497 a month, aimed at agencies "looking to go SaaS", and adds SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, phone and email rebilling with markup, and advanced API access.
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The pages say a credit card is required to start it, that you are charged your selected plan rate when the trial ends unless you cancel, and that you can cancel in account settings. The Keap comparison page adds that usage surcharges may apply and mentions concierge migration. The site also says feature availability varies by plan.
Support, per the community builder FAQ, is 24/7 through live chat, email and Zoom, plus onboarding resources, a searchable help center, a community forum and weekly live training sessions. The Kartra comparison page describes "24/7, multichannel support via live-chat, email, and phone". The home page also mentions a community-driven Ideas Board where users vote on what gets built.
The about page timeline lists 5,000+ customers in 2020, 10,000+ in 2021, 20,000+ in 2022 and more than 60,000 in 2023, with $1B in revenue shown against 2023, and for 2024 an AI expansion with 2.3 billion leads and 505 million opportunities managed. The home page counters read 7,000,000+ AI voice calls, 7,300,000,000 leads generated, 179,000,000 appointments booked and $5,200,000,000+ in sales facilitated in 2025. These are the company's own figures.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
HighLevel suits agencies that build funnels, landing pages and follow-up systems for many clients: sub-accounts, account copying and white-labeling are designed for exactly that. It suits a service business that wants pages, booking, payments, messaging and reviews in one login. It suits a coach or creator who wants a community, courses and paid memberships tied to the same CRM, and an agency that wants to turn its setup into its own branded software through SaaS Mode.
The caveats come from its breadth. The entry plan is $97 a month, which is a lot for someone who only needs a single landing page. API access starts on the Unlimited plan, so a team that wants to connect its own code should plan for that tier. And because the pages, CRM, automations and community all live inside one platform, moving a single function out to another tool later means rebuilding that piece elsewhere.
