Zigpoll
Tap a star to rate
Zigpoll is a no-code survey tool built around Shopify, which the company describes as a "contextual micro-survey tool": small interactive surveys that show up where and when you want them on a website, in an email, by SMS or inside a mobile app. It is aimed at ecommerce merchants and the marketing teams behind them, and its pages also address SaaS products, publishers and agencies. The home page says it is "the trusted feedback partner for 20,000+ companies" and names TOMS, Steve Madden and BERO among stores that trust it.
What you build and how
You build short surveys that sit inside the shopping or browsing experience and feed answers back to you. The product menu names the main kinds: attribution surveys ("See which channel really drove each sale"), post-purchase surveys asked at checkout, exit-intent surveys that find out why visitors leave without buying, and NPS surveys with the order attached. The home page describes a 3-step path. Step 1 adds Zigpoll through a one-click Shopify install, an embed code for any website, or native iOS and Android SDKs. Step 2 sets up surveys by picking from proven templates or building your own; the page says "Most stores go live in under 3 minutes". Step 3 is automated insights, where "AI analyzes responses automatically" to give "actionable insights, not just data".
The builder offers 10+ question types and branching logic, and the home page suggests offering discounts or incentives to raise completion. The company states that its customers see a 50% average response rate, and calls that "10x the industry standard". That is the vendor's own figure.
The Shopify tie is the core of the design. The home page says every answer is tied to a real Shopify order, so an attribution report shows revenue, AOV and repeat rate by channel rather than click counts, set next to what Meta, Google and GA4 claim. The attribution FAQ describes one question on the Shopify thank-you page, "How did you hear about us?", answered by about half of customers. NPS runs on every plan, including the free one: you ask the 0 to 10 question on the thank-you page, by email or by SMS, and a detractor can trigger a Shopify tag, a Klaviyo flow or a support ticket seconds after answering, while promoters get a review request.
Targeting decides when a survey appears. The home page lists targeting by behavior, purchase history or customer segment, with triggers from Shopify events, Klaviyo flows or custom rules, and delivery by email, SMS, on-site popup or inside iOS and Android apps. The FAQ says you can have as many surveys as you want on a website, though only one survey can show per page. Page Rules choose which pages a survey appears on or exclude pages. A visibility tab controls where and when the survey shows, for each survey or in bulk, how many times a user sees it, and whether it keeps showing after completion. A display tab changes colors, and each survey can have its own color scheme.
Installation is flexible. For any site, you copy the embed code into the head tag. The company also lists a Shopify app, a WordPress plugin and a Google Tag Manager option. In mobile apps, the native SDKs show surveys in a bottom sheet triggered from your code, with responses in the same reports as website and email surveys. On performance, the FAQ says: "Our script is under 20KB and loads asynchronously. It won't affect your Core Web Vitals or page speed scores."
The AI layer goes beyond summaries. An AI assistant answers plain-English questions about your data, and an MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client to your account with OAuth sign-in and no API key; the FAQ says it is included from the Premium plan up and can even let an agent build and send the next survey. A synthetic-responses feature generates answers from an audience profile you define, or from ready-made templates such as Gen Z or Enterprise Decision Makers, before a real customer sees the survey. The page promises "1,000+ synthetic responses in minutes" in 94+ languages, and says the AI respondents follow your branching and skip logic, so you can test wording and flows first.
As an in-app survey tool, Zigpoll does its core job on site, in store and in mobile apps. As a forms tool, it collects structured answers with question types and branching, though it is built for feedback rather than contact forms or payments. In the Shopify ecosystem, it is a Shopify app, and the site repeats "550+ five-star reviews on Shopify" across its pages.
Plans, support and security
The pricing section offers monthly or annual billing, with "Annual Save 25%". The free plan is Lite: "Zigpoll Lite is free forever and includes unlimited surveys, up to 50 responses per month, all question types, basic integrations, and email support. No credit card required to start." Upgrading adds unlimited responses, advanced integrations and AI-powered insights. Between Lite and Enterprise the FAQ refers to a Premium plan and the Enterprise column builds on "Everything in Premier", but no price for those middle tiers appears in the page text. Features listed across the paid columns include unlimited team members, white label support, a custom domain, API and MCP access, priority support and a dedicated setup call. Enterprise is priced as "Custom" with unlimited responses, and adds SSO (SAML) and SCIM provisioning, a security review and signed DPA, a custom MSA with PO invoicing, data warehouse sync, unlimited sub-accounts, quarterly business reports and managed research.
Support is by email and contact form. The FAQ says "We pride ourselves on having world class support" and promises a reply no matter what plan you are on. The footer links to a DPA, a PCI Compliance page, a Security page, a Trust Center and a status page.
On customers, the site features stories with named results: Kanga Coolers "Lifted landing page conversion 15-20%" and launched 6-figure product lines, OMHU "Found 20% of sales came from word of mouth", Adflair "Cut affiliate spend 80% without losing a sale", and the luxury brand GAÂLA Paris turns 6% of exiting visitors into shoppers with exit-intent surveys. Reviews on the page from Steve Madden, Karl Lagerfeld, AMARO and Gaâla mention the range of question formats, auto translation and the support team. These are the company's own case-study summaries.
Who it suits and who it does not
Zigpoll fits a Shopify merchant or a small ecommerce team that wants to ask shoppers why they bought, why they did not, or how they found the store, without writing code. A solo founder can start on Lite and stay on it while volume is low. A marketer can tie answers to orders and Klaviyo flows, and a larger brand can move to Enterprise for SSO, a signed DPA and data warehouse sync. A SaaS team or a publisher can use the embed code, and the SDKs cover mobile apps.
There are limits. Lite caps responses at 50 per month, so a store with steady traffic will move to a paid plan. Only one survey can show per page. It is a survey tool, not a general form builder, so lead capture forms, registrations and payments belong in other software. A developer who wants full control of the survey interface gets a configured product with templates and a display tab, although the embed code, SDKs, API and MCP server give room to connect it to other systems.
