What WANotifier Is

WANotifier is a no-code chatbot builder for WhatsApp, aimed at marketing, sales and support teams that want to automate customer conversations without writing code. The company's chatbot page frames it for "ROI-driven marketing teams", and the same product also covers WhatsApp campaigns, drip sequences and a shared team inbox. Small businesses and founders can use it too, since the builder is drag-and-drop and the site says most people go live quickly. The pages do not say where the company is based.

Because WANotifier sits on top of the WhatsApp Business API, it works as both a chatbot builder and a general WhatsApp messaging platform. A chatbot built here is one part of a larger set of tools for capturing contacts, engaging them and converting them.

What You Build and How

The editor is a node-and-edge canvas. Per the company's help center, you open Automations in the left sidebar, choose Bot, click Add New Bot, and name it. You then connect a Trigger node to the default Start node. The trigger defines when the bot launches. The help center's example is the "New message received" trigger, which fires when someone messages you outside an active conversation window. The chatbot page adds that a bot can start when a user sends a particular message, clicks a button, or meets certain criteria, and that triggers exist so the bot responds to user interactions rather than starting conversations indiscriminately.

From there you add Action nodes and Conditional nodes, link them with edges, and use handles to set the direction of the flow. Every open handle ends in an End node. When the flow is ready you click Save and switch on the "Toggle bot status" control, which makes the chatbot live. A related help article covers exporting and importing bots between different WANotifier accounts, which matters if you build bots for more than one business or want to reuse a flow.

2 optional bot settings deal with silence. One sends a message to a contact who goes inactive during a bot session, after a number of minutes you choose, with text you write. The other ends the bot session automatically after a set number of minutes without a reply. Both are described in the creation guide.

The chatbot page lists what a bot can do for customers. It can capture user inputs and segment audiences automatically, trigger flows based on user actions or conditions, engage customers outside business hours, and assign conversations to live agents when needed. You can take over an active chatbot session or assign the chat to a specific team member at any point to add context or personalization. The page also says you can run multiple chatbots from a single WhatsApp number, which lets one number serve several purposes, such as a lead flow and a support flow.

On the data side, the page states that chatbots "can send API requests and fetch data from your favorite tools, including CRMs, chat apps, e-commerce tools, and payment platforms." That is the integration story in the chatbot FAQ. No individual app is named on the pages held for this entry, so check the helpdesk's Integrations section for the specific connectors you need. The helpdesk also lists an API and Webhooks section, described as connecting WANotifier with third-party websites and apps through REST APIs.

Around the bot builder, the product's feature list covers the WhatsApp Business API, WhatsApp Blue Tick, WhatsApp Coexistence, Click-to-WhatsApp Ads, capturing contacts from everywhere, a WhatsApp CRM, WhatsApp Flows, WhatsApp Automation, Chatbots, Drip Marketing, Transactional or Utility Messages and WhatsApp Campaigns. The helpdesk fills in the operational side: contacts management with CSV bulk import, message templates, a product catalog, a shared team inbox where you add team members and set email alerts for unread messages, and analytics covering API usage, message delivery and open rates, template performance, bot and drip sessions, and flow responses. Automation help articles cover greeting, delay and out-of-office messages, auto-replies, drip sequences, and automatically subscribing and unsubscribing contacts.

So a bot builder here also feeds the rest of the product. A bot can capture an answer, the contact lands in the CRM, a campaign or drip sequence follows up, and a person in the shared inbox can step in. The chatbot is a way into WhatsApp automation generally, and a reader arriving from a general chatbot-builder list should read it that way.

Plans, Pricing, and Limits

The chatbot page and the helpdesk pages show no plan names or prices. The FAQ points to a separate pricing page for API costs and plans. What the pages do state is this.

  • A 7-day free trial, offered through the "Start 7-Day Free Trial" button.
  • No free plan for chatbots. The FAQ answers "Can I use WhatsApp chatbots for free?" with "No. You need a paid WANotifier plan and access to the WhatsApp Business API to build and use WhatsApp chatbots."
  • WhatsApp API usage is billed separately through Meta's official portal, and "WANotifier charges 0% markup on your API costs."
  • Most users can go live in under 30 minutes, according to the FAQ, though it adds that build time depends entirely on your use case.

The helpdesk shows what the Meta side involves. Its frequently read articles include how to verify your Meta Business Account, how to add a payment method for WhatsApp API billing, the WhatsApp API's daily messaging limit, a delivery error numbered 131049, and how to create a WANotifier account and set up a phone number with the WhatsApp API. Support is by chat or email, and the helpdesk has a troubleshooting section for failed messages and for accounts that get banned, disabled or locked.

The site shows customer feedback in a section headed "Honest Feedback from Some of Our Recent Customers." Pavan Shet of Bix Bytes Solutions AG calls it "a great product and very easy to use" and singles out customer support. Bharat Manghnani of Skik Clothing says it is "a perfect tool for running WhatsApp marketing campaigns and setting up automation." Vinay D of Bajaj Energy Transformation Hub says he has used it "since they started off." These are the company's own selected testimonials, so read them as such. The pages state no user count, no compliance certification and no hosting region, and they say nothing about code export or self-hosting.

Who It Suits and Who It Does Not

WANotifier suits a marketing or operations team that already wants WhatsApp as a channel and needs a bot to handle the first part of each conversation. Lead capture, audience segmentation, out-of-hours replies and handoff to a person are all things the chatbot page names directly. An agency or a small shop can get a first bot running without a developer, and the creation guide's 7 steps are short enough to follow in one sitting.

It also fits a team that wants the bot, the campaigns, the drip sequences and the shared inbox in one product on one WhatsApp number, rather than stitching separate tools together. The Coexistence feature in the product list points to the same number being usable by both the bot and people, though the pages held here do not explain how it works.

There are caveats. First, there is no free plan, so a hobby project or an experiment that never earns money has only the 7-day trial. Second, you need your own WhatsApp Business API access, and Meta bills message costs separately from your WANotifier plan, so budget for separate invoices and for Meta's business verification and messaging limits. Third, the builder is a flow editor around WhatsApp. If you need a chatbot that spans many channels, or want to run your own code or host it yourself, the pages offer no sign of that. A developer who wants an escape hatch into code will find REST APIs and webhooks documented, but not an export of the bot itself.
