What ZipWP is

ZipWP is an AI website builder for WordPress. You describe your business in plain, everyday words, and the AI builds the pages, design, copy and visuals. The company's line is "Create a WordPress website with AI in minutes. No theme hunting, no plugin setup, no code." It is made for entrepreneurs, freelancers, agencies and hosting companies who want a first draft fast and a site they can keep running on WordPress, instead of one that lives inside a proprietary builder. The homepage names Brainstorm Force as the team behind it, and shows Sujay Pawar as co-founder of ZipWP and Astra.

What you build and how

The workflow has 3 steps, and the homepage lays them out. First you describe your vision, telling the AI what your business does as you would explain it to a friend. Second, in under 60 seconds the AI designs the site, writes the copy and picks the images. Third, you edit with AI, then publish with managed hosting and a free domain. The company says you can tweak any text, color or section, add plugins, payments and booking in a click, choose a domain and go live, and keep growing the site on WordPress for as long as you like.

What comes out is a WordPress site. The company's argument is that most AI builders give you a site you can only run inside their app, while ZipWP gives you a WordPress site with hosting, security and setup already done. Your site can use WordPress themes, plugins, ecommerce tools, booking systems, forms and custom code. The ecommerce answer on the page is "Payment-ready": extend the site with WooCommerce, SureCart, payment gateways, forms and booking tools. So the store question is answered by the WordPress ecosystem, not by a store module inside ZipWP.

The AI is a drafting tool, not a permanent layer. The pages say AI creates the first draft and then you edit and manage everything with familiar WordPress tools, and the finished site remains editable independently of the AI. Under the heading "No token anxiety," the page says AI credits are used for AI-powered features and that your website does not stop working because you run out of them. The comparison table on the homepage sets ZipWP against chat-based AI tools, which it says often involve more manual cleanup, and against proprietary all-in-one platforms that host your site in a closed system.

The current platform covers more than generation. The company lists these tools:

  • AI Site Planner
  • AI website generation
  • an AI Assistant inside WordPress, which writes, rewrites and fixes content without leaving the editor
  • AI troubleshooting
  • reusable Site Blueprints, which save and share full site templates to speed up delivery
  • managed WordPress hosting
  • an MCP-based AI agent integration, so you can connect Claude, Cursor or any MCP agent to ZipWP to build, manage and launch WordPress sites
  • an Instant WordPress Launcher for clean, blank WordPress sites when you want to start without AI

Hosting is where the product gets concrete. Managed hosting is described as fast, monitored WordPress hosting with one-click staging, included in paid plans. It comes with optimized SSL, a firewall, malware scanning, daily backups and automatic updates. The page says eligible annual plans include a domain for the first year, connected for you. Professional email on your own domain is set up alongside the site. The company says ZipWP automates much of the WordPress installation, hosting, SSL, domain, caching, backup and infrastructure setup when you use its managed hosting.

For agencies and hosts there are separate offers. The navigation lists Premium Agency Hosting, described as a way to host, manage and monitor client sites at scale from one dashboard, along with Site Blueprints under agency tools. A "For Hosts" option lets a hosting company offer AI site creation under its own brand with full white labeling.

Plans, pricing and support

The homepage says you can start free with no credit card required. A guide to AI website builders on ZipWP's own site lists a free plan and says the Pro plan starts at $10.9 a month; the same guide notes that demo sites expire after 24 hours unless upgraded, so a free draft is something to act on rather than leave sitting. Managed hosting is included in paid plans, and eligible annual plans add a domain for the first year.

The homepage also describes a bundle that came into the plan at the same price: 4 premium products from the same team, which it says would cost $436 a year bought separately. They are Astra Pro, the theme's design layer with a header and footer builder, WooCommerce layouts and custom layouts ($69 a year on its own); Spectra Pro, a pro block library on top of the WordPress editor with a loop builder, dynamic content, login and registration blocks and popups ($69 a year); Ultimate Addons for Elementor, which adds 50+ premium widgets and 200+ ready section blocks for Elementor users ($69 a year); and SureForms Premium, an AI form builder for WordPress ($229 a year). For a buyer, that means forms, page building and theme design are covered inside the plan rather than bought as extra plugins.

Moving an existing site in is part of the offer. Paste a URL and the AI Site Planner rebuilds its structure as an editable wireframe; a WordPress site can come over with free migration and no overage fees, and the page says a Yelp, Google Business or LinkedIn profile can be turned into a site. The same guide adds that ZipWP supports multilingual sites.

The site makes these specific claims about hosting and support. Hosting runs on NVMe storage with automatic SSL, caching, daily backups, staging and monitoring switched on by default, and managed hosting includes 24/7 expert support alongside documentation. The company describes the generated site as a standard WordPress website, with pages, media, database and code that stay standard WordPress, which can be migrated to another compatible host, under the heading "No proprietary AI lock-in".

A customer spotlight on the homepage quotes someone who says they launched a web design business and built its WordPress site with ZipWP in minutes.

Who it suits and who it does not

ZipWP suits a freelancer or agency that delivers WordPress sites and wants a draft in under a minute, with Site Blueprints to reuse designs and the agency hosting offer to run client sites from one dashboard. It suits a small business owner who wants a site and a domain without choosing themes and plugins, and who is happy to keep it on WordPress afterward. It suits a developer too, because custom code and the full plugin and theme catalog are available, and the site can move to another compatible host. A hosting company can offer it to its own customers under its own brand.

There are limits to weigh. The result is a WordPress site, so you inherit WordPress upkeep unless you use the managed hosting, and the integrated hosting, backups and staging come with paid plans. If you move to another host you lose those and manage them yourself. The AI starts you from a generated draft, so it is not a blank canvas for someone who wants to place every element. Free demo sites expire after 24 hours unless upgraded, so a trial build has to turn into a paid plan quickly to stay online.
