What Hostinger AI Builder is

Hostinger AI Builder is the no-code website and web app builder inside Hostinger, whose product menu also covers hosting and domains. Its FAQ defines it as "a no-code platform that lets you build websites and web apps simply by chatting with AI or by dragging and dropping pre-designed elements." The FAQ says it is "built for everyone – from someone who's never touched a line of code to a developer who wants to move fast", and the product menu sums up the pitch as "Describe what you need and AI will build it. No tech skills needed."

What you build and how

The product "evolved from merging our website builder and Horizons into a single builder with two modes": Manual for drag-and-drop editing, and Agentic for what the company calls vibe coding, describing what you want in plain language while AI handles the design and code. Either way you start by describing the idea or picking a template, the builder produces a first version, and you refine it by dragging and dropping or by continuing the conversation.

The FAQ is clear about when to use which. Manual mode is "ideal for small to medium websites – online stores, portfolios, business sites, or blogs", and it starts from an AI-generated site you then customize by hand, with built-in AI for content, images and product descriptions. Agentic mode is "the better choice if you're after more flexibility or plan to scale your project down the line – think web apps, CRMs, membership sites with gated content, portals, or sites with user authentication." The company's list of what you can build runs from a business page, portfolio, bookings page or store to "custom CRMs, client portals, calculators, micro SaaS projects, and AI-powered tools like content generators and chatbots."

For apps, the page says you can "Add databases, user accounts, and file storage without setting up separate tools", and every plan includes "a built-in back end, so there's no separate database or server setup needed." You can also start from what you already have: "Upload a URL, image, or PDF, and AI turns it into a site you can edit." AI features such as chatbots and smart search can be added to a finished site "without separate accounts or billing."

Payments and integrations are spelled out. Every plan includes Stripe payments for subscriptions and one-time payments, and the FAQ adds connections "from AdSense and PayPal to virtually any API-based integration", with the caveat that "integrations are limited in Manual mode". The feature list for Agentic mode names Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, WhatsApp integration, booking services, CRM and custom tools, digital products with subscriptions, website localization, a test environment for edits, SEO-optimized websites and AI search visibility. Email campaigns run through the company's Reach email marketing tool.

Developers get an escape hatch. Agentic mode includes "a built-in code editor and ready-to-go integrations", the feature list includes "Code editor and export", and the FAQ says "you can export your code and self-host it on any other platform" and that "You can edit or export the complete source code at any time and take it with you." Publishing is one click: a live URL is generated, hosting is included, and you can publish under a custom domain. SSL and the Hostinger CDN are configured automatically, and the FAQ says data stays on Hostinger's servers. Native mobile apps for the App Store or Google Play are not supported; web apps are responsive on phones and tablets.

The template gallery covers ecommerce, portfolio, business and services, link in bio, and health and beauty, with 400+ website templates on every plan. Around the builder, Hostinger's menu lists agent products, a Connector for AI coding assistants, a CLI, an SDK and application hosting, which are separate products on the same platform.

Plans, credits and support

The AI Builder page lists 3 plans, all paid upfront for the term, with a 30-day money-back guarantee:

  • Premium: $11.99 a month regular, shown at $2.99 a month as a 75% off offer, "48 months for $143.52 (regular price $575.52)", renewing at $10.99 a month. Up to 3 websites, 2 mailboxes per website free for 1 year, a custom domain free for 1 year, 5 AI credits as a one-time gift, chatbot support from Hostinger Agent.
  • Unlimited: $18.99 a month regular, shown at $3.99, "48 months for $191.52 (regular price $911.52)", renewing at $16.99 a month. Unlimited websites, unlimited mailboxes per website free for 1 year, 15 AI credits as a one-time gift, priority 24/7 expert support, ecommerce and email marketing with Reach.
  • Cloud Startup: $27.99 a month regular, shown at $7.99, "48 months for $383.52 (regular price $1,343.52)", renewing at $25.99 a month. Everything in Unlimited plus 20 credits for Hostinger Agents, aimed at "businesses that need maximum performance and scalability."

The page notes that "The monthly rate reflects the total plan price divided by the number of months in your plan" and that unlimited features fall under a Fair Usage Policy.

Credits matter in Agentic mode only. "Manual mode doesn't use AI credits." In Agentic mode each build or edit through the chat uses credits: the FAQ says "a simple business page usually takes 5-10 credits, while a more complex web app like a SaaS tool or internal productivity tool takes 15 credits or more on average." Live AI features such as chatbots also draw fractional credits when visitors use them, manual text and image edits cost nothing, you can top up anytime, and a usage dashboard breaks spending down.

One term is worth knowing before you build: "if your hosting plan expires and isn't renewed, your project will no longer be accessible and all data will be permanently deleted."

Who it suits and where it stops

Hostinger AI Builder suits a founder or small business owner who wants to describe a site, get a working draft and keep domain, hosting and email in 1 account, and the two modes let you start with AI and take over by hand. It also stretches further than most site builders: the Agentic mode's back end, user accounts and Stripe payments put a client portal, a membership site or a small SaaS prototype within reach, and the code export gives a developer a way out.

The caveats are about cost and credits. The headline prices assume a 48-month prepaid term and renew higher, so budget from the renewal rate. The one-time credit gift of 5 or 15 credits covers only a few builds at the FAQ's own rates, so anyone building an app in Agentic mode should plan for top-ups, and a lapsed plan means a deleted project.
