What Readdy is
Readdy is an AI website builder for founders, small businesses, designers and agencies who want a working site without hand-building every page. Its homepage headline is "More than an AI website builder," followed by "A platform built to run your business," and the FAQ describes it as a tool that generates complete websites, from layout and structure to images and content, using plain language, templates, screenshots or URLs. Everything is editable afterward in a no-code, drag-and-drop visual editor.
The company's blog names Frank Zhu as the founder of Readdy.ai, described as a developer-turned-founder with more than 10 years of product experience. The product goes beyond page design: the homepage covers hosting and domains, forms stored in a real backend, member logins, payments through Stripe or Shopify, bookings and marketing tools, all from one dashboard.
What you build and how
You start in one of 4 ways, which the homepage lists as text, templates, images or a reference URL. With text, you describe the site in plain language and the AI generates layouts, pages, copy and structure, keeping the whole site visually consistent and responsive across devices. You can also describe a visual style in words, with examples on the page such as "minimal white layout" or "luxury black and gold." With images, you upload a screenshot, a branding mock or a Figma frame, and Readdy analyzes the visual style and generates a site from it. A reference URL works the same way: Readdy learns the structure, UX patterns and visual logic of a page and turns it into a site for your brand. The homepage says the AI can also generate more pages, with layouts, content and navigation, for business websites, portfolios, blogs and ecommerce sites.
Templates are the other starting point. The homepage advertises "500+ Professional Website Templates," sorted into Business, eCommerce, Portfolio, Landing Page, Blog, Personal, Storefront and Event, and every template stays fully editable, including by asking the AI to change a layout or rewrite sections.
Editing works either way. You can tell the AI what you need, or click an element and edit it directly. In Selector Mode you edit text, replace images, change colors, spacing and sizing, or generate new backgrounds with AI. Edits adapt to mobile and tablet automatically, and the FAQ adds that you can customize the mobile view separately. An effects area adds hover states, scroll effects, animations and video backgrounds. If you want more advanced customization you can add code blocks or custom scripts, but the FAQ calls that optional. A version history lets you try layouts, styles or full redesigns and restore an earlier version at any time.
The data layer is where Readdy differs from a page builder. The homepage lists "Build fully functional websites with built-in database" and says every form works with a real backend: submissions are stored in your Supabase database, where you can review, export or automate them. Forms come from your prompt. A Readdy blog article explains that you mention a contact or onboarding form while generating the site and it is built in, styled to match the design and connected to a built-in submission dashboard, with custom field types, data validation and real-time submission notifications. For lead capture, the homepage adds email notifications and connections to Google Sheets or Mailchimp, from simple contact forms to multi-step lead funnels.
Several business functions sit on top of that backend. Membership sites get automatically generated authentication pages and user databases, so you can offer gated content, member dashboards or premium areas with email login. Scheduling covers booking forms, calendar sync and automated confirmations with Stripe or Calendly, so a customer can pick a time and pay at once. With Stripe or Shopify connected you can sell physical products, digital downloads and subscriptions, and Readdy automates product setup, checkout, receipts and recurring billing. The homepage names Stripe, Shopify, Calendly, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and Supabase as integrations, and the footer lists a Shopify Integration product, an AI Receptionist, GEO Optimization and Outreach.
Publishing and hosting are handled by the platform. The homepage says "Platform handles domain, hosting and security. Easy launching." You can search and buy a domain inside Readdy or connect an existing one with guided DNS setup, and every site gets SSL and HTTPS automatically. Hosting includes versioning and preview environments. SEO tools cover meta titles and descriptions, URLs, indexing control, automatically generated sitemap.xml and robots.txt, and one-step Google Search Console verification. Marketing sits in the same bundle as "SEO + GEO + Marketing Tools (such as Email)."
Code ownership is addressed directly: "Site code can be exported and self-managed." A user quote also mentions exporting a design to Figma and getting the HTML code. For agencies, the menu carries an Agency Solution page and a Certified Expert program, and the homepage promises to "Deliver websites under your own brand with full white-label support."
What the pages state about plans and claims
The homepage promises "All-inclusive. No hidden costs. Build and run your website with one simple plan." The FAQ says you can "generate and build your site for free," and that connecting a custom domain or getting additional features means upgrading to a paid plan, while buying a domain or using third-party tools may cost extra. The blog article gives the figures: a free plan with 250 credits a month, 2 projects and 200 MB of storage per project, and paid plans "starting at $15/month (paid annually)."
Other claims are the company's own. The homepage says it is "Trusted By Thousands" and promises you can "Launch in one hour." It also says the site runs on infrastructure built to cope with traffic spikes, loads quickly with global delivery, and builds in accessibility through clean structure and readable layouts. Testimonials include a designer, Tarun Yadav, shown under the line "Saving me over 90% budget," and a creator, ui.debbie, who writes "I designed a whole app in less than 30minutes." These are user quotes, not measured results. Support runs through a Discord community, a Help Center, Docs and a Changelog, and the footer also lists free tools such as an AI logo generator, a business name generator and a favicon generator.
Who it suits and who it does not
Readdy fits a founder or small business that wants a complete site, with hosting, a domain, forms, a database, logins, payments and basic marketing tools, in one place and without a developer. Describing a site in a sentence or uploading a screenshot is a quick start, and the visual editor means a non-technical owner can keep editing afterward. Coaches and service businesses get bookings with payment, and creators get membership areas. Agencies get white-label delivery and a certification program for client work.
The free plan's 2 projects and credit allowance are enough to test the product, while a real business site will need the paid plan for a custom domain. The FAQ itself suggests a developer for complex custom logic or deep integrations with internal systems, which is a fair line to draw. Designers who want pixel-level control over a brand system may find an AI starting point needs refinement, though the selector mode, code blocks and code export give room to adjust.
