What Network Solutions is
Network Solutions is a domain registrar and web hosting company that also sells an AI website builder, aimed at small business owners and solo entrepreneurs who want to register a domain, build a site and host it in one account. The home page says the company has over 40 years in the industry, calls itself the "1st Domain registrar in the world", and reports 5.4M domains managed. It pitches itself as a single place for "hundreds of domain extensions and premium domains", web hosting, business email, website builder tools and digital marketing services, for anyone from a person "just figuring out how to build websites" to a team "managing a multi-site brand".
What you build and how
The AI Website Builder. The home page sums up the builder in one line: answer a few quick questions and get a customized website in minutes. The company's own guide to no-code builders adds detail: the builder asks a few simple questions about your business, then automatically builds a site you customize with drag-and-drop tools. You can also start from a ready-made customizable template and adjust it to your brand. Templates are mobile-responsive, and domain, hosting and SSL are built in. The guide lists AI tools for website copy, domains and logos, so the builder helps write the text and generate a logo as well as the layout. The guide's general description of how such builders work, "pick a layout, add text and images, and move sections around", fits what the company describes for its own tool.
Domain inside the flow. Because a site needs a domain to go live, you search for and register one during setup. An AI Domain Name Generator suggests available names based on your business idea. With a domain, the home page says, you also get free AI tools including a Coming Soon Page, a Logo Builder and a Link in Bio page.
Selling and marketing. Higher plans add marketing, booking and e-commerce. The Website + Marketing plan brings selling services, appointment scheduling, email and social media marketing and a Google Business listing. The eCommerce plan adds a secure checkout and selling through Facebook, Instagram, Amazon, eBay and more, which the guide calls multichannel selling. The navigation also lists an eCommerce Website Builder and an eCommerce Landing Page, so a store owner has a named route.
Done for you. For owners who would rather not build, the home page offers "a professionally built website tailored just for you", Website Design and Online Store Design services, and an in-house digital marketing team for SEO, pay-per-click advertising and business directory listings. The site describes a choice between doing it yourself with the builder and "an agency-style experience where everything is handled for you."
Hosting and WordPress. For people who want WordPress instead of the hosted builder, the WordPress article describes WordPress Hosting packages at $5.99 per month with a free custom domain name for the first year, a hosting environment optimized for WordPress, a one-click WordPress installation guide and 24/7 customer support. For heavier work there is AI-assisted VPS hosting: you select from multiple server options and "add your preferred OS or application like n8n, OpenClaw, or Claude Code." Moving an existing site in is described step by step: after buying a hosting plan, you use your FTP credentials to upload the site files, assign the domain and update DNS. Security add-ons named on the home page are SSL certificates and SiteLock.
The AI toolkit. The home page also sells an AI toolkit "included in every plan" with ChatGPT by OpenAI, Claude by Anthropic, Gemini by Google and Grok by xAI, priced at "all four for $20.00/mo." It is pitched for writing newsletters and social posts, polishing proposals, organizing expenses and answering customers faster, with "One login, one bill, no juggling subscriptions." This is a productivity bundle next to the builder rather than part of the site editor.
Plans, prices and support
The guide lists three builder plans, all with a promotional first-year price:
- Website: $4.99 a month for a 1-year term, renewing at $15.99 a month. Includes the AI Website Builder, a 1-year free domain and domain privacy, 3 months of free Professional Email, 1 month of free SSL and 1 hour of expert design support.
- Website + Marketing: $7.99 a month for a 1-year term, renewing at $20.99 a month. Adds selling services, appointment scheduling, email and social media marketing and a Google Business listing.
- eCommerce: $13.99 a month for a 1-year term, renewing at $28.99 a month. Adds secure checkout and multichannel selling.
The guide itself notes that "Promotional pricing applies to the initial term, so check the current renewal price before you buy," and lists among the cons that introductory pricing rises at renewal and that the hour of expert design support is a limited offer.
Domain prices from the company's registrar guide: .com at $11.99 a year for the first year and $28.99 at renewal, .net at $14.99 and $32.99, .org at $9.99 and $34.99. Transfer prices are listed as not publicly available, and the guide says the company does not offer a free plan or trial for domain registration. The home page says a domain transfer brings a 1-year extension on many domain types.
Support: product support by chat 24/7, business consultants by phone and chat on weekdays from 8am to 11pm ET, a help center knowledge base, and the home page's promise of "24/7 customer support". The home page shows a Trustpilot rating of "Excellent", 4.3 out of 5 based on 16768 reviews.
Who it suits and who it does not
Network Solutions suits a small business owner or freelancer who wants domain, hosting, email and a website builder from one company, and who likes having a phone number to call. The AI setup gives a beginner a first draft instead of a blank page, the plan ladder runs from a brochure site to a store selling on marketplaces and social channels, and the design and marketing services are there for the owner who wants to hand the work off later.
It is a weaker fit for anyone building an application rather than a website, or for a designer who wants pixel-level control beyond templates and drag-and-drop. The renewal prices matter: every plan renews well above its first-year price, and so does the .com, so budget on the renewal figure rather than the promotional one.
