What it is
Mixo is an AI website builder for small businesses: plumbers, electricians, cleaners, consultants, lawyers, accountants, coaches, dentists, wedding planners and the many other trades its pages list. You tell it what the business does and who it serves, and it builds the site. The company's line for the product is that you can "create a professional website, get it live and start getting customers - without code or complexity," and its footer calls Mixo an "AI platform helping businesses launch online and start getting leads."
The company says it has created "3M+ websites" across "300+ industries," supports "40+ languages" and is "Trusted by 750k+ businesses," and the homepage adds that it is "helping hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide get online and grow with customers." Those are the company's own figures. Its reach is summed up as "From plumbers in Perth to lawyers in London," and 2 customer sites are named: Tribute Etchings in Redlands, CA, and EasyJsonl in Hungary.
What you build and how
Mixo builds one kind of thing, a small business website, and it is organized around getting enquiries from that site. The company describes 3 steps:
- Describe your business. Tell Mixo what your business does and who you serve.
- Mixo sets up your website, "a clean, professional website designed to build trust and generate enquiries."
- Publish and get found. Go live, then make simple updates anytime to keep the site current as you grow.
The homepage says Mixo "builds a complete business website in seconds - including pages, contact forms, blog, SEO, GEO / AI search optimization," and that you then review, publish and start getting enquiries. One customer quote puts the input at its smallest: "generating a website with just one sentence." The features page sums up the promise as "If you can describe what you do, Mixo can build your website."
Editing and branding. After generation, you edit the site in Mixo's editor with no code or design skills. The features page lists the ability to add your own photos, video and brand, and the SEO FAQ says meta titles, descriptions and URLs are set in the site editor and its settings.
Enquiries and contacts. This is where Mixo spends its pitch. The company says every site comes with built-in contact forms, enquiry tracking and integrations "so you can respond faster and win more work." Forms capture enquiries, bookings and leads directly from the site. Customer details are kept in one place, and the company says you can export contacts, connect your tools or track performance with a built-in dashboard. The feature list names "Capture and export form submissions" explicitly, and the comparison page says Mixo "equips your site with AI-powered lead capture to follow up with enquiries and convert visitors while you work." A customer quote on the SEO page credits it with waitlist management done in one click.
Search visibility. Mixo has a dedicated SEO page, headed "Sites ready to rank on Google from day one." The company says each site gets responsive design for mobile and desktop, fast loading times from optimized code and image sizes, and SEO-optimized HTML structures with meta tags and schema markup. You can edit meta titles and descriptions, add image alt text and create descriptive, keyword-rich URLs, and the builder generates a sitemap.xml automatically. Every time you publish or update, "Mixo automatically notifies search engines that your content has changed," which the company says helps them crawl pages faster than their standard schedule. It adds that nothing needs configuring and that this works on all plans. The company also says it continuously updates sites as SEO best practices change, and its FAQ is candid that significant ranking changes may take a few months.
Hosting, domains and privacy. Mixo manages hosting on what it calls its Global Content Network, so the technical side is handled for you. You can use your own domain or get a new one, and the feature list promises "Simple custom domain setup." Sites are designed mobile first for phones, tablets and desktops. The features page also says "Mixo sites provide features to make them GDPR compliant."
Integrations. The homepage says Mixo "connects easily with payments, email, analytics and marketing tools so your website actually works for your business," and the features page names Google Analytics and Facebook as products you can integrate. The SEO page describes the Google Analytics link in more detail: connect your account to track engagement and traffic.
Moving from another platform. The comparison page says "Our AI handles the transition in minutes" for a site imported from elsewhere, and invites you to contact the team for help switching. The footer also lists Professional Services.
Support. The feature list promises "Friendly, human customer support." One homepage testimonial credits the team with "service second to none," and another customer, Miss Molly, says the team "has been excellent at addressing, and helping me achieve the goals on my website page." Mixo also runs a Learn section with articles on website copy, email lists and launching a small business site.
Plans and terms
The homepage offers a "Free plan available" with "No credit card required." The features page spells out the money terms:
- "Mixo has a free plan that lets you create, edit, and publish a one-page website at no cost." Upgrading adds more pages, custom domains and advanced features.
- "There is a 30 day money-back policy on your purchase. Try for a month and see if it's right for you."
- You can change plans whenever you like in your account settings. Moving to a more expensive plan applies a pro-rated charge for the remainder of the billing cycle; moving to a cheaper plan credits your account on a pro-rated basis.
- For agencies or larger volume clients, "reach out to our support team to discuss our agency plans and discounts for high-volume customers."
The features page groups its audience into home services (plumbers, electricians, contractors, cleaners, landscapers, roofers), professional services (consultants, lawyers, accountants, coaches, advisors) and small business owners, from local businesses and solo operators to side hustles. The SEO page's industry list adds yoga instructors, chiropractors, copywriters, dentists, Etsy shop owners, event planners, interior designers, mortgage brokers, nutritionists, pet sitters, physiotherapists, real estate agents, spa and salon owners and wedding planners.
Who it suits and who it does not
Mixo is a good match for a solo operator or small local business that needs a credible site this week and cares more about getting enquiries than about design control. The free one-page plan is a reasonable way to test the output on your own business description before paying, and the 30-day money-back policy limits the risk of a paid upgrade. Agencies handling many small clients have a stated route to volume plans.
It is a weaker fit if you need a store with products and inventory, a membership area, a custom application or fine layout control: the product generates a site from a description and keeps it current through simple updates. The free plan's one-page limit also means a real business site, with services, about and contact pages, needs a paid plan.
