What it is

Landingsite.ai is an AI website builder for people who want a finished business site without learning a builder. You describe your business in a sentence or two, and the AI designs, writes and launches the site, then hosts it, secures it and updates it when you ask. The company's own line is "You run the business, we run the website." The reader it is written for is a small business owner, a freelancer or a founder with no design or technical background, though the site also points to marketing agencies, with a dedicated agencies page in its footer.

The home page claims 1 million+ websites created and an average build time of about 5 minutes. The pages do not say where the company is based.

What you build and how

The starting point is a form with 2 questions: what your business is called and what you do. From that the platform produces what the home page calls "a website, a logo, a domain", all from those 2 questions. The flow has 3 steps. You describe the business ("Two sentences is plenty. No tech words needed."), you preview the result (pages, copy, images and a logo, "ready in minutes"), and you publish when you are happy, at which point the company says it puts the site live and handles hosting, domain and security. The page also states that no credit card is needed to start.

The site itself. The company says every site is generated fresh for your industry, your services and your town, and that there is "No template your competitors are already using." The output is described as a unique design, with professional copy written for your industry, a layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops, and SEO readiness from day one. So the copywriting is part of the product, not something you bring. A founder who dreads writing an About page gets drafted text to react to rather than a blank section.

The logo. Your logo is made along with the site, matched to your business and, in the company's words, "ready to use anywhere." For a new business this removes a separate design errand. The site does not say whether you can iterate on the logo or download it in particular file formats, so check that on a trial site.

Domain. You can search, buy and connect a domain without leaving the product. The page says DNS, SSL and the other technical details are set up automatically. The pricing example on the home page shows mybusiness.com at $1.00 against a standard $12.99 and mybusiness.co at $1.00 against $14.99, with mybusiness.net marked taken. The terms line reads: "$1 first year with any annual plan, renews at standard rates." If you already own a domain, the page says you can connect it for free.

Editing by chat. There is no drag-and-drop editor to learn here. The company says: "Tell the AI what you want in plain English and watch it happen." The examples on the page are "Add a photo gallery", "Write a page about catering", "Make the phone number bigger", "Sell my $49 course online" and "Add customer reviews". In the sample exchange, a request to make the buttons pink is answered with "Done", followed by an offer to match the links. This is a different working style from a canvas builder. You stay in language and the AI does the layout work, which suits people who do not want to hunt through settings and may frustrate people who want to nudge a single element by a few pixels.

Online selling. This is the ecommerce side of the product. You tell the AI what you sell and it builds the product pages and checkout. The page lists physical and digital products, checkout, receipts and orders handled, and secure payments through Stripe. The company says you keep every sale, minus a 1% fee, and that selling is available on the Pro plan. The example storefront on the page shows a denim jacket at $89 with a Buy now button and an order marked paid. The pages do not describe inventory tools, shipping rules, tax handling or other payment providers, so a shop that needs those should be tested before committing.

Hosting and upkeep. Fast hosting and free SSL are listed as included, and the page says updates and maintenance are handled for you. The feature strip also lists 150+ languages, which the stats row repeats as "150+ languages supported". The pages do not say whether that figure means the AI can write the site in those languages or the interface supports them, so read it as the company's claim about language coverage.

Related products on the same site. The footer lists an AI Website Builder, a Landing Page Builder, SEO Landing Pages and a Free AI Website Builder, plus pages for moving companies, marketing agencies and law firms. These are entry points into the same builder aimed at different searches, and the company notes that Landingsite built its own marketing site.

What the pages say about plans, limits and proof

The home page states that the product is free to start with no credit card, and a "Pricing" link sits in the header. The pricing page itself is not among the pages we hold, so no plan names or monthly prices are available here. What the home page does state is the following:

  • The first-year domain price is $1 with any annual plan, renewing at standard rates.
  • Selling online runs through Stripe, with a 1% fee on sales, and is available on the Pro plan.
  • Hosting and SSL are included, and updates and maintenance are handled.
  • Build time averages about 5 minutes, per the stats row.

The page does not publish usage limits such as page counts, traffic caps, product counts or storage, and it does not state whether the free start is a time-limited trial or a standing free plan. It does not mention any compliance standard, and it names no hosting region or export option. Those gaps matter for a business that wants to move the site elsewhere later, since the pages are silent on whether you can take the code with you.

3 testimonials sit on the page. The first, from a user at R2D2AI, says what used to take hours and days on WordPress, Wix or Hostinger is now possible in minutes. The second, from a user whose company is listed as artystasecurity.berlin, says he has been building websites for 20 years and went from start to live in 3 hours with all pages and a full blog section, "what normally takes 6 weeks", and that when there were a couple of broken links he asked the AI to fix them and it did. A third, from a user at Everready, describes making a mini site for an event in a few minutes. These are the company's selected testimonials, not independent measurements.

The FAQ lists 7 questions, covering the 5-minute claim, how the AI knows what to build, changes after creation, selling products, mobile, an existing domain and technical skills. Support is by email at support@landingsite.ai, and the header carries a Support link. The pages name no phone line or chat channel.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits a business owner who needs a credible site, a logo and a domain this week, with no design or copywriting skills. A plumber, a lawyer or a mover, three of the industries the company names, gets a generated site and edits it by describing the change. A freelancer or small agency can use it to stand up a first draft quickly, and the agencies page suggests the company expects that use. A founder selling a few physical or digital products can get checkout without setting up a store platform, provided they are on the Pro plan.

It is a weaker fit for someone who wants direct control. There is no canvas or component library described, so fine layout work goes through conversation. It is also a weaker fit for teams that need a governed build process, a database of their own, internal tools or workflow automation, none of which the pages describe. And because the pages do not mention code export or self-hosting, anyone who needs an escape route into their own infrastructure should ask before building. Finally, a shop with complex catalog, shipping or tax needs should test the checkout against its real requirements, since the pages describe it only as pages, checkout, receipts and orders.
