What ItIsMe is
ItIsMe is a free AI-powered portfolio and business website builder for students, freelancers, tutors and small businesses in India. The company behind it is V2S Infosystem Private Limited, based in New Delhi. Its pitch to a first-time builder is that you can create a complete site in 5 minutes with no coding, no domain purchase and no server configuration. Every site lives at a personal link in the form itisme.in/yourname, and the platform is described on its own pages as a multi-tenant system, meaning many people's sites run side by side on one installation.
What you build and how
The finished product is a small multi-page site, not a single scrolling page. The company says your ItIsMe website "has real pages": About, Skills, Projects, Services, Products, Blog and a Contact form, plus a Resume PDF. The same pages serve 2 uses. As a general website builder it gives a freelancer, tutor or shop owner a home with a blog and a contact form. As a portfolio builder it gives a student or professional a place to list skills and projects, upload a resume and share one link with recruiters, clients and customers.
Getting started is a short form. You pick a domain key, the part after itisme.in/, and press Check to see whether it is free. You enter your name, email and mobile number, choose a billing currency (INR or USD) and a package, then create the site. The company says you can sign in straight away: there is no approval queue, and your login details arrive by email within moments of signing up. The site lays the process out as 5 steps, beginning with registering and choosing a domain and then signing in.
Editing happens through an admin panel. According to the FAQ, you can change colors, update profile information, upload images and manage all content there, and dark and light themes are both available. The pages do not describe a drag-and-drop canvas or a template gallery, so treat the editor as a structured admin panel around the fixed page set rather than a free-form design tool.
The AI part is a chat assistant on your site. The company says it works around the clock, answering visitor questions in real time from the information you provide, and that it is included on all plans. In practice that means the quality of its answers depends on how much you tell it about your services, prices and availability. The FAQ also lets you add products or services with a description, images and pricing, so visitors can view them and send an inquiry straight from your site.
The company's own blog adds a few operational details. Blog posts on an ItIsMe site can be indexed by Google page by page, which a single-scroll page cannot offer. An Android app lets you manage the site from a phone: add pages, respond to inquiries and update the gallery without opening a laptop. For people leaving a one-page tool, the blog suggests signing up free and recreating your sections as pages by hand, and says most Carrd sites can be rebuilt in under an hour. There is no import tool described, so that rebuild is manual.
The pages name no external integrations, no API, no code export and no self-hosting option. Everything runs inside the platform.
What the pages publish
Pricing is listed openly in rupees and dollars, per year:
- Basic, ₹0 a year ($0.00): a custom subdomain, 5 projects, 5 blog posts, 2 gallery images, a services page and a contact form. The table marks it "No E-commerce".
- Professional, ₹999 a year ($17.00): a custom subdomain, 50 projects, 100 blog posts, 200 gallery images, 100 products, a services page and a contact form. The company's blog says the plan supports up to 100 products with no seller fees.
- Enterprise, ₹1,999 a year ($29.00): described as "Enterprise package with unlimited features", with 999 projects and 999 blog posts listed.
The Basic plan is a permanent free plan rather than a trial: the company's blog calls it free forever and says it carries no badge to remove. The FAQ adds that paid plans give additional features, higher content limits and priority support. The registration form states that no credit card is required.
Payment rules differ by plan. On Basic, your portfolio goes live immediately. On Professional or Enterprise you can sign in and build the whole site right away, and your public web address goes live once payment is confirmed. In Indian rupees you can pay by UPI, bank transfer or the payment gateway. Gateway payments activate the site within seconds, while bank transfers and UPI are confirmed within one working day. In US dollars, payment goes through the gateway only, and the USD prices include international card processing and currency conversion. The company says it cannot accept an international bank wire because the receiving fees would cost more than the package.
The homepage says "Join 115804+ professionals showcasing their work", which is the company's own count of users. Support is by email at support@itisme.in and through WhatsApp. The pages state no compliance certifications, hosting regions or uptime commitments, and the company says the site loads fast on Indian networks without giving any figures.
Who it suits and who it does not
ItIsMe fits a student who needs a digital resume with projects and a PDF, a freelancer or tutor who wants one shareable link with a contact form, and a home-based seller who wants a simple catalog of up to 100 products on the Professional plan. The Basic limits of 5 projects, 5 blog posts and 2 gallery images are tight, so a photographer or designer with a long body of work will want a paid plan almost immediately. The price gap between plans is small, and paying from India in rupees is the smoothest path.
It is a weaker fit for anyone who wants control over layout, a custom domain of their own, integrations with other tools, or the option to export and host the site elsewhere. None of those appear on the pages. A larger business that needs a store with payments, shipping and inventory will not find those described either; the product is a portfolio and small-business presence with an AI chat assistant at its center.
