What Instantsite is

Instantsite is an AI website builder for a founder, freelancer, local business or small agency who would rather describe a business than design a site. You write what you do, who it is for and what you want visitors to do, and Instantsite plans the pages, writes the first draft, picks a visual direction and hands you an editable site. The company's line for the product is "Built with AI, shaped by you", and its pages say you review everything before publishing.

What you build and how

The workflow is four steps, and the homepage names them: Describe, Generate, Customize, Publish. In the first step you explain the business, audience, offer and goal in your own words, in a text box that accepts up to 4,000 characters (with a 10 character minimum). In the second, Instantsite "plans the structure and builds the complete first version". The page says it chooses a visual direction and writes the content, and the status it shows while working reads "Structure planned", "Content written", "Visual direction applied" and "Ready to edit". An example site on the homepage sits at an instantsite.app subdomain, which is the address format free sites use.

You do not pick a theme first. The FAQ answers that directly: in the description-first builder you explain the business and the outcome you want, and Instantsite works out the structure and design direction. The company says it structures every page around what customers need to understand, trust and do next, "without forcing your business into a generic template".

Then comes the editor, which is where most of your time goes. The homepage lists what you can do in it: revise headlines, paragraphs and calls to action, replace generated images with your own or search available imagery, manage pages and sections as the site grows, and add your logo and adjust the available brand controls. The Free plan includes the full visual editor for text, images, sections and pages, color presets and basic fonts, plus a contact form and call and email buttons. Paid plans add branding depth: Pro brings custom colors, the full font library and image logo and favicon upload, and Premium adds stock image search inside the editor.

Language handling is worth noting. The FAQ says you write your description in the language you want the site to be in, and Instantsite detects that language and writes the website content in it. The sites are described as responsive by default, designed for desktop and mobile.

Publishing has two paths. Free sites publish to an instantsite.app address. Paid plans can connect a domain you already own or buy one through Instantsite. The pages list "No Instantsite footer credit" under Premium only. Premium also carries editable SEO metadata and traffic analytics.

The pages go further than the generic builder pitch in one respect: they publish profession-specific landing pages, such as one written for real estate agents. On that page, the company says Instantsite provides easy-to-customize themes and says it has Free, Pro and Premium plans to suit different budgets. Those pages are written as guides to what a site for that trade needs, such as property galleries, testimonials and local search, and they are not a list of Instantsite features.

The pages describe no database, no store or checkout, no booking tool, no third-party integrations and no API. The product is a site generator and editor, so the "app" side of no-code is not covered here.

Evidence from the pages

Three plans are published, in US dollars and excluding tax. Free costs $0 and covers 1 website, AI website generation, the full editor, publishing to an instantsite.app address, color presets and basic fonts, and a contact form with call and email buttons. The homepage states "Start free", the real estate page says "Free to try, no card required".

Pro is $16.99 per month, or $12.74 per month on yearly billing, which is $152.91 billed once a year and a stated 25% saving. It includes 2 websites, everything in Free, a custom domain you connect or buy there, custom colors, the full font library and image logo and favicon upload. The company describes it as for freelancers, local businesses and service providers, and marks it as the recommended plan.

Premium is $39.99 per month, or $27.99 per month yearly, which is $335.90 billed once a year and a stated 30% saving. It includes 5 websites, everything in Pro, stock image search inside the editor, editable SEO metadata and traffic analytics, and no Instantsite footer credit. It is pitched at agencies, creators and anyone running several websites. Yearly billing saves "up to 30%".

The comparison page against 10Web is the company talking about itself, and it should be read that way. It says 10Web is built around WordPress automation and plugins, while Instantsite offers AI-generated sites, easy editing, business templates, lead forms and custom domains. It claims Instantsite is simpler for owners who want quick setup and less technical maintenance, and that its Free, Pro and Premium plans cost less than many 10Web packages. The page invites readers to compare pricing pages themselves. Its closing line is the one the company uses across pages: "Create a professional website with Instantsite, edit it yourself, and publish it with your own domain."

The pages give no customer count, no founding year, no company location, and no compliance claim, so none are reported here.

Who it suits and who it does not

Instantsite suits someone with a clear business and no site: a tradesperson, a consultant or a real estate agent who wants a first version in the same sitting and is willing to edit it by hand. The Free plan lets you generate 1 site and judge the result before paying, and the paid steps are priced by the number of sites, from 2 to 5, which maps neatly onto a freelancer with a couple of clients or a small agency.

It is a narrower tool than a general builder. The pages mention no code export or self-hosting, so you should assume the site lives on Instantsite. Custom colors, the full font library and your own logo sit behind a paid plan, so the free site is tied to color presets, basic fonts and an instantsite.app address. Premium is the only plan that lists editable SEO metadata, which matters for a business that depends on search. Anyone who needs a store, a members area or a workflow should look at a different kind of platform.
