What Hocoos is
Hocoos is an AI website builder for small business owners who do not want to touch design or code. Its homepage says "our AI website builder creates a professional website for you in minutes." The reader it has in mind is an entrepreneur, a freelancer, a service professional, a community organization or a shop owner. The company says it is "trusted by over 500,000 small businesses worldwide," a claim of its own.
What you build and how
Setup starts with a short questionnaire. The homepage says you tell Hocoos about your business and goals, and the AI "will design 3 professional website options, tailored just for you." You pick one, then fine-tune it in the editor. The FAQ puts the result as a site "complete with design, content, and images." You can also skip the AI draft and start from a ready-made template from the company's template library. For stores, the steps are written as: tell us about your business, choose a style from professionally designed templates, let the AI create the site with content, images and product sections, customize it, then publish.
The editor is the part the company stresses most. The company calls it a "click-and-choose" and "click-and-edit" editor and says it is "even easier than drag-and-drop." On the store page the claim is: "You don't need to drag, drop, or code. Just click to customize your store layout, update product info, add widgets, and see changes instantly." The same page elsewhere mentions a drag-and-drop editor for adding products, so the pages are not fully consistent on the term. In either case, the design control is deliberately narrow: you adjust what the AI produced rather than draw a layout from scratch.
AI shows up in the content as well as the layout. The store page lists AI-written product descriptions, AI image enhancement, royalty-free images and the option to upload product photos from your phone. It also says you can create new visuals from a text prompt. A collaborative AI content writer is listed as one of the differences from other AI builders.
The product covers several kinds of site, which is why it sits in more than one category here. The FAQ lists "online stores, booking websites, portfolios, blogs, landing pages, and more," and the store page links to separate AI builders for websites, blogs, booking systems and portfolios.
- Online store (e-commerce). Inventory, variations and pricing are managed in the store, and the page lists coupons, promotions, bundles and email marketing. Checkout offers "multiple payment options, including PayPal," and the page says you can connect Stripe, PayPal and other trusted platforms. The FAQ answers the gateway question directly: "Hocoos supports Stripe and PayPal." Shipping and tax rates are set "with just a few clicks", whether you ship locally or internationally, and the page lists automated shipping and tax calculations and built-in analytics. The company says there are no transaction fees.
- Booking (scheduling). The page describes an AI booking system "for effortless appointment management," for offering services, setting reminders and managing schedules, locations and staff. The Premium description mentions custom booking forms.
- Blog and portfolio. Both have their own AI builders, and the store page's blog blurb promises "effortless AI-text creation."
Every site gets automatic mobile layouts, built-in SEO controls for titles, meta descriptions and URLs, and a connection to Google Search Console. The FAQ says each site has hosting, an SSL certificate and "multiple layers of security." An App Library covers integrations for email marketing, social media, analytics and live chat, included in Premium.
What the pages say about plans, trials and support
The pages describe 1 paid plan, Premium, with 2 billing options: $15 a month, or $150 a year after a displayed discount from $180. The yearly option includes a free domain for the first year, which the page values at $15, and a free professional mailbox. If you need a domain, the page says it is $15 a year, and a Professional Mailbox is $2.5 a month. The FAQ also says connecting a domain you already own is free, and that the monthly plan lets you connect your own domain. Premium is described as including e-commerce, custom booking forms, marketing integrations, domain connection and all AI tools for one flat price: "No transaction fees," "No surprise charges."
Free use is where the pages need careful reading. The homepage FAQ says you can build and launch a website for free, and that you can start without a credit card. The store page is narrower: you can build and customize a store during a "free 14-day trial," but connecting payment methods, publishing the store and getting features such as Google indexing, email marketing and advanced branding requires an upgrade before the trial ends. In practice, free means free to build and try, and a store goes live on Premium; the store page labels the offer "Get Your Free Website" with the note "*Pay Only If You Like It". A 14-day money-back guarantee applies to Premium.
The FAQ says you can reach support "via live chat directly from your Hocoos dashboard during business hours (US, Europe, and Asia)", and that support "is also available 24/7 via email and our social media channels." Reviews on the homepage back this up: one praises responsive email support and chat, another says YouTube tutorials from the company helped them learn features after the "8 question set up."
Who it suits and where it stops
Hocoos fits a person who needs a credible site, a small shop, a booking page or a portfolio live soon, with one price and no assembly work. A therapist or trainer who wants appointment booking, a craft seller who needs a store with PayPal or Stripe, and a consultant who wants a blog and a contact page are all inside what the pages describe. The flat $15 plan with hosting and SSL included is easy to budget.
The limits come from how narrow the product is. The pages describe a click-and-choose editor for adjusting AI output, so it suits adjusting a generated site rather than pixel-level layout work, custom data models or workflow logic. Payments run through Stripe and PayPal only, by the FAQ's answer. And the free-launch wording differs between the homepage and the store page, so a store owner should plan on Premium from launch day.
