Durable

Durable is an AI business builder for people starting or running a small service business, such as a coach, a handyman, a cleaner or a photographer. Its home page calls it "The complete AI business builder" and promises that you can launch a website, get customers and grow faster with AI, getting online in 30 seconds. The company is Durable Technologies Inc, and its About page describes "a globally distributed team with a home base in Vancouver, Canada." Its About page sets out the intent in plain terms: "to make business ownership frictionless" by solving the business parts of owning a business, namely launching a website, getting a first lead and booking a first job.

What you build and how

The first thing you build is a website. The brand builder page describes the flow: you enter your business information and Durable generates a custom website for you in 30 seconds, then you "make any edits or changes with our intuitive editor. No coding required." The home page rotates through example prompts for coaching, handyman, cleaning, marketing agency, car detailing, landscaping and photography businesses, and groups its pitch under headings such as Home Services. The site is aimed at service trades more than at product sellers, and the pricing FAQ says as much about stores: "While Durable is not designed specifically to support e-commerce businesses, we have had clients launch successful e-commerce businesses on our platform."

Around the site sits a set of tools the navigation groups as Products: AI Website Builder, SEO and GEO, Bookings, Blog Builder and Brand Builder. The brand builder page covers a business name generator, where you enter a business type and get a list of name ideas, and a brand identity feature that creates "logo, colors, and style tailored to your business". Some of the adjacent tools are labeled "Coming soon" on that page, including an AI logo generator, social media assets and AI-powered ads, so do not buy on the expectation of those. The page also pitches an exclusive custom domain as a way to build trust and visibility.

For customers, the pricing page's comparison table lists a CRM with a customer cap, bookings with calendar sync, custom intake questions and paid bookings, plus AI search ranking that refreshes weekly on one tier and daily on another. In practice a visitor books a service from your site, answers intake questions you set and pays for the booking, while you track the people who contacted you. The Launch plan describes this as "Unlimited booking, synced to your calendar" and a "Built-in CRM + AI replies to up to 20 leads". The home page also names SEO and CRM among the products. Support options range from a help center to priority live chat and personalized expert onboarding.

There are practical details in the FAQ. You can use an existing domain, which "takes about five minutes" and needs a few settings changed with your domain provider. You can add additional users to a Durable website, and you can transfer a whole website to someone else by changing the account and billing settings. HTML editing is limited, because Durable is a "no code" solution and does not "offer extensive options for HTML customization", though you can contact the company with a specific need. All Durable domains sit on Cloudflare's content delivery network, which the company says provides fast and secure SSL generation, firewalls and protection against attacks including DDoS.

Learning content is part of the product surface. Durable publishes business starter guides for professions including home care, plumbing, bookkeeping, pressure washing, life coaching, dog training, wedding planning, travel agency, lawn care, catering, junk removal and heating and air conditioning, and it runs an AI tools directory.

The About page lists the values the company says it works by, including obsessing over customers and quality, and describes the problem it sees: starting a business used to mean learning a dozen skills, hiring people and taking on financial risk. The footer carries the line "Durable makes owning a business easier than having a job", and the company runs an affiliate program and a careers page.

Pricing, limits and company claims

The pricing page lists 3 plans, with a monthly and a yearly toggle that says "Save 15%". All of them include SEO, secure hosting, unlimited website traffic and the CRM.

  • Free, $0. "Perfect for testing your business idea with a website, logo and more." It includes the website on a free subdomain (*.durable.site), 5 generated images and 10 AI chat messages a month, up to 10 CRM customers, 2 blog posts and 2 lead replies from the agents, listings in 4 basic directories and help center support.
  • Launch, $25 a month on the monthly price, marked Most Popular. It adds a professional website with custom forms, analytics, conversion optimization and custom code, advanced SEO and GEO with a weekly visibility ranking, AI replies to up to 20 leads, unlimited booking synced to your calendar, a free domain worth "up to $20", 10 blog posts a month, 50 images and 1,000 AI chat messages a month, 10+ personalized directory listings and priority human support.
  • Grow, $49 a month on the monthly price. It adds personalized expert onboarding with a 1:1 call, unlimited team members, 32 blog posts and 100 lead replies a month, daily AI rankings, 500 images a month, unlimited AI chat and a domain credit of up to $40.

The comparison table further down shows Launch at $22/m and Grow at $41/m. It also lists what the search side does: optimized metadata, structured data (JSON-LD), a sitemap and robots.txt, an llms.txt file for AI assistants, Google Business Profile work, review requests by email and competitor analysis, with paid plans able to remove Durable branding.

The FAQ is specific on other terms. Custom domains are free with every Durable subscription and "take seconds to create." If you leave, "simply get in touch with us and we'll arrange to have your custom domain transferred to you", though the transfer takes a couple of weeks and has a minimum subscription time. The pricing page claims "3,000,000+ Businesses built on Durable" and the home page "4.8 Stars on Trustpilot".

Who it suits and who it does not

Durable suits a solo service provider who wants a site, a booking page and a place to track customers without choosing between separate tools, and who has no designer or developer to lean on. The business name and brand tools help someone who has not yet settled on an identity, and the profession guides give a first-time owner a launch path.

It is a weaker fit for developers, agencies or anyone who needs custom code, since HTML editing is deliberately limited. Selling products in volume is possible but not the design center, in the company's own words. The Free plan is a trial run more than a business site, with a durable.site subdomain, 10 CRM customers and 10 AI messages a month, so a working business will be on Launch or Grow.
