What Craftum is
Craftum is a website builder for people who want a site without programmers or designers: small business owners, freelancers, bloggers and shop owners. The interface and all of its pages are in Russian, and the company says the builder is listed in the Russian software registry. The footer gives team@craftum.com as the contact address and links a knowledge base and a product called Craftum AI. Its pitch is speed: the home page says to launch the site "за 15 минут, без программистов и дизайнеров" (in 15 minutes, without programmers and designers). Quotes below carry an English translation.
What you build and how
You pick a template or start from blocks. The company says to choose a suitable template or build a site from more than 200 blocks, and lists 150 templates for business, with separate galleries for sites, landing pages and online stores. Templates are described as examples of finished sites you change to your purpose: add your contacts, text and photos, change the palette and font, and add or remove blocks. A design block lets you position elements as you need, so you can build a site to your own layout.
The blog's description of the workflow is the same: pick a template close to your field, such as a shop, a studio or a consultancy, then swap in your own photos, rewrite the text in your own words and choose colors that suit the business. When time is short, you describe the project to the AI assistant in ordinary words and, the post says, a complete landing page is ready in 3 minutes.
The home page names the product areas as a site builder, a landing page builder, an online store, a digital goods shop and a blog. Each is aimed at a different job:
- Sites and landing pages. The 3-step flow is to register, create a site from a template or blocks, then promote it by sharing the link on social networks, setting up SEO or running ads. The company says registration gives full access to building an adaptive, mobile-ready site for 10 days free.
- Blog. A section for articles with a visual article editor, where you can insert photos, video, HTML code and other elements, so a blog can be managed without outside help.
- AI tools. Built-in AI tools create a site "за 3 минуты по вашему запросу" (in 3 minutes from your request), improve text and replace images on a page. The labels on the page are an AI landing page generator, text rephrasing and image replacement.
- Online store. The headline is "Интернет-магазин за 1 день" (an online store in 1 day). The company says you can load up to 50,000 products and import them from a CSV file in a couple of clicks, with a button to launch the store. The shop is aimed at opening an online business without designers, programmers or a large upfront investment. A separate digital goods section sits in the navigation beside it.
- SEO. You set the title, description and H1 to H3 headings and start attracting customers from search. The company says its settings let sites be indexed quickly in search engines.
- Domains. You register domains directly in the builder panel, so choosing an address happens in the same place as editing.
- Integrations. You can add an online chat, a payment acceptance system, analytics and other services to the finished site. The page names categories rather than specific vendors.
On performance and hosting, the company claims clean code and optimization let a site load instantly even on a weak mobile connection, and that sites score 95+ in the PageSpeed test. It says Craftum's internal servers store all site files at no extra charge, so hosting is part of the subscription.
What the pages say about cost and scale
The home page says you can create a site for 149 rubles a month when paying for 2 years. A different section promises a site "от 199 рублей в месяц за всё" (from 199 rubles a month for everything), and contrasts that with about 20,000 rubles for a designer, a developer and a builder or CMS. Registration comes with a 10 day free period with full access to the site-building features.
Other company claims: more than 15,000 customers have chosen Craftum, sites are fast, the interface is easy enough for a beginner, and the builder is in the Russian software registry, which the company says means it will not leave Russia.
The company's own blog fills in the plan structure in a June 2025 post about no-code platforms. It gives Craftum's prices as "от 159 руб. в месяц" (from 159 rubles a month), says there is no free version and a 10 day trial, and describes three packages:
- Basic (базовый). One site with any number of pages, up to 170 blocks, the 150 templates, hosting and a domain as a gift, and removal of the Craftum label.
- Optimal (оптимальный). Up to 5 projects, integration with popular services, analytics, SEO setup and file uploads to the site.
- Extended (расширенный). The same for 20 sites, plus the ability to transfer your project and API access.
The same post describes the editor as fully customizable by dragging components, with support for multi-page sites and several languages including Russian. It lists as advantages the SEO fields for H1, title and description, a free domain with API access, the company's own training platform, budget pricing, and the option of ordering a site from the platform's partners. Its stated drawbacks are a short free period and no payment method other than bank cards.
Who it suits and who it does not
Craftum suits a Russian-speaking founder, freelancer or small shop owner who needs a presentable site or a catalog of up to 50,000 products and wants the hosting, domain and SEO fields in one panel. The low price, the ready templates and the AI draft help a person with no design background go from nothing to a published site in an afternoon. Someone who needs a blog next to a store also finds both in the same tool.
It is a poor fit for teams that need an English interface or English-language support, since the site and its interface are in Russian. The company's own blog notes the short free period, and its mention of bank cards as the only payment method may rule out buyers who pay another way. Anyone who needs complex logic, custom data models or a mobile app should look at a different category of tool, because Craftum is a site and store builder, not an application platform.
