What it is

ChilledSites is an AI website builder for small businesses. Its home page puts it as "The AI that gets small businesses online and findable," with the pitch "Tell us what you do. We hand you a finished website." You describe the business, the AI builds the site, registers the domain and works to keep it findable, and the company says it has built "10,000+ websites." It is aimed at owners of cafes, cleaning firms, photography portfolios, startups and similar ventures who want a live site without learning a design tool, and the pages also address developers who want to drive it from their own AI agent. The pages do not say where the company is based, though prices are quoted in pounds.

What you build and how

Websites from a description. The core flow is text in, site out. The company says the AI generates a complete multi-page website, with design, copy, layout and navigation, "in under a minute," and its home page says there are "No templates to fill in." A second page it publishes frames the contrast with page builders: a "Full multi-page site," with "AI writes all your copy too" and a live preview before you publish.

Editing. Changes are made by asking. The site says "Edit anything by typing plain English," with examples like "make the hero darker" or "add a pricing section with three tiers," and the home page adds that you can "point and click at the bit you want to edit." The unusual part is where you can make changes. The company says you can message its assistant, Chilly, "on WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or email" to ask a question or request a change "and it's done, no login needed." The home page shows an example where the owner asks for new opening hours and then asks how many enquiries came in that week, which the assistant answers from a Google Sheet.

Forms, enquiries and analytics. Contact, lead capture and enquiry forms are described as built in, with submissions emailed to you. The home page's value table lists "Forms, enquiry email and CRM sync" and "Analytics setup" as included, and its comparison with other tools says the enquiries inbox with auto-reply and a view of "AI assistants that visit you" are built in.

Being found. The company's headline claim is that the AI "gets you found on Google and ChatGPT," and it lists Google, ChatGPT and Claude as the places the site is built to be found.

Domain, hosting and ownership. The company says one domain registration, "a .com, .co.uk or similar," comes with Pro and Pro+, and that if you already own one you can connect it at no extra cost. Hosting, SSL and fast CDN delivery are described as included. On ownership, the home page FAQ says "The domain is registered for you and the site is yours. You can download the complete site as files at any time, on every plan, and host it anywhere you like."

Apps as well as sites. A separate PWA page covers progressive web apps. The company says the AI generates "a complete PWA with offline support, push notifications capability, and app-like experience" from a description, and that every site gets a web app manifest, a service worker for offline caching and HTTPS automatically, so it can be installed from the browser to a phone's home screen without an app store. Its suggested uses are local businesses, restaurants, portfolios, service bookings, info sites and small shops. The page shows "£9 per month" and a 60-second build time.

For developers and agents. The home page says "Point ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code at ChilledSites. Our MCP server and REST API let your own agent build and edit for you."

The evidence from the pages

Pricing is two tiers on the home page. "£9 a month, cancel any time" buys one website on your own domain, edited whenever you ask. "Pro+ is £18 a month" and lists three sites, 300K build tokens, 15K a month for edits, priority support and early access. The value table gives the base plan 5K tokens a month for ongoing edits. Top-up packs start at £8, "never expire," and need no extra subscription.

There is no free trial. The FAQ answers "Is there a free trial?" with "No. Every build costs us real money to produce, so we only build for people who want a site live." Registered charities, non-profits and community groups get Pro at half price "with nothing removed."

The company supports its pricing with a table of what separate services would cost, labeled "Representative UK freelance and agency rates." Its figures are design and build at £2,000-10,000, copywriting at £400-900, domain registration at £10-15 a year, hosting at £10-30 a month, SEO setup at £500-1,500, forms and CRM sync at £150-400, analytics setup at £150-300 and ongoing edits at £60-90 an hour.

A comparison table is the company's own view. It lists ChilledSites at £9 a month against Carrd at about £2 and Wix at about £13, and Lovable and Bolt at $25 a month each, with the note that the tools were checked on 29 September 2026. Read those as the vendor's comparison, not independent testing.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits an owner-operator with a small service business, a portfolio or a local shop who would rather describe the business than learn an editor, and who values being able to edit from WhatsApp or email. It also suits a developer or agency that wants to build and edit sites from its own AI agent through the REST API and MCP server. Downloading the site as files is available on every plan, which limits lock-in.

It is a weaker match for a team that wants to place every element by hand, since the company's pitch is that the AI builds the site and you ask for changes. The pages describe no team roles or permissions, and they do not describe selling products with a cart or checkout, so a shop that needs inventory or payments should confirm that first.

Two cost caveats apply. With no free trial, you commit to £9 a month before you see what the AI builds for your business. And because edits draw on a monthly token allowance, 5K on the base plan by the company's table, heavy iterating can mean buying top-up packs.
