What it is

cdmon is a hosting company that also sells a way to get a website built. Its home page is headed "Hosting, domains, and email all in one place," and the same page promotes an AI generator called AIO alongside WordPress hosting, a Starter Kit and a free test platform. It is a website path for small businesses, freelancers, agencies and developers who want the domain, the hosting, the mailboxes and a site under one account, rather than a visual builder with its own editor.

The company's footer names the operator as 10dencehispahard SLU and shows its phone numbers with Spain's +34 prefix. The site runs in six languages (English, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, French and German) and the home page says the company has been serving businesses for "20+ years," with a copyright range that starts in 2002. The legal notice gives an address in Malgrat de Mar.

What you build and how

cdmon gives you several routes to a site, and which one fits depends on how much you want to do yourself.

AIO, the AI route. The navigation lists AIO under "Create a Website" with the line "Turn your idea into a website or app in minutes." On the home page it is explained as "Tell us what you want and AIO will create it for you," with the instruction to "Describe what you want to create and start with a first version ready to make your own," and a "Start for free" button. In other words you describe the site in text and then make a generated first version your own.

The Starter Kit. For people "starting from zero," the home page offers a pack with the claim "Everything you need to launch your website in less than 24 hours!" It is one of the two Create a Website products in the menu, next to AIO, and there is also a short guide to getting a site running "in just 3 steps."

Installing a CMS. The Italian guide to creating a site explains the alternative for people who cannot code. From the Junior hosting plan upward, cdmon says it provides free web applications for building sites without much programming knowledge. A one-click CMS auto-installer, run from the control panel, offers WordPress, Joomla, PrestaShop and Moodle. The FAQ says the installer is offered with any hosting purchase, asks for a few administration details during setup, and has the CMS running after a few minutes. A CMS here is software that lets a non-programmer manage a site's content. The page adds that a developer would first need to build the site for the most suitable CMS, leaving day-to-day management to the owner. WordPress also has its own hosting product, and a separate WordPress Consultancy service to "update and protect" a site.

Domains. The domain section covers registration, transfer, WHOIS lookups, a domain API for managing "all your domains in one place," prices with volume discounts, and a FAQ. The guide says you can register more than 600 domains among the 4 types that exist, from .com to .buzz, including IDN names with accents or special characters, and for 1 to 10 years, although .uk names must be registered for 2 years. It says a domain can be bought separately from hosting, so that nobody can "rubare" (steal) it while the site is still being planned.

Hosting and what it includes. The guide lists what a hosting purchase bundles: disk space, FTP accounts, monthly traffic, email accounts, password-protected folders, backups, a control panel and web statistics, plus free consulting and technical support. It states that all hosting is scalable, so you can start on one plan and move up. Multidomain, meaning several domains and sites on one account, starts at Junior, and the number of domains depends on the plan. Other hosting pages in the menu cover a CDN marked as new, migration of an existing website "at no cost," a volume discount, mail hosting and a free hosting option.

Security. A free Let's Encrypt certificate is activated automatically with hosting and, being valid for 3 months, renews itself. The guide also lets you request paid certificates such as Positive SSL, Positive SSL Wildcard, Instant SSL Pro or EV SSL, which are paid annually. The FAQ explains that the free certificate validates several domains and unlimited subdomains as long as cdmon's DNS servers are used, while some paid certificates validate the whole organization and all include insurance against certain damages caused by the issuer's negligence. To serve a site over HTTPS, the FAQ points to a redirect in the .htaccess file, or to plugins in WordPress and PrestaShop.

Beyond a single site. The menu also lists virtual and dedicated servers, and solution pages for beginners, companies, developers, resellers and agencies, online stores and students. Agencies are offered the chance to "offer services under your brand while we handle the infrastructure and support." For online stores, PrestaShop is in the installer list, and the site names SEO PRO and Trusted Shops as additional services.

The evidence from the pages

The home page states "Everything you need to launch your website in less than 24 hours!" The footer states that "cdmon is a company officially certified with the National Security Scheme, and also holds the certifications ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 27001 Information Security." Those are stated claims from the company.

Support is described as "available 24/7" with "no bots, no runaround," and the Italian guide promises a free advice and technical support service from a specialist team. One testimonial from February 2026 reads "Very satisfied with their services." The home page also promises "No hidden fine print" and "clear terms."

The site publishes no plan prices. The only price-related claims on the home page are a banner reading "View plans at 80% off" and a footer note that "Prices without VAT" apply. The footer links a promotions page, a Refer-a-Friend program and volume discounts on hosting, and the domain section has its own prices and discounts page.

Who it suits and who it does not

cdmon suits a small business or freelancer that wants a working site and a domain-based mailbox from one supplier, with a human on the phone at any hour. It also suits an agency or reseller, given the page aimed at them, and a WordPress developer who wants a host with a consultancy service attached. Someone with an idea but no design skills can try AIO for free and decide afterward.

It is not a drag-and-drop product with a long feature page of its own: AIO is presented in a few lines, so a team comparing builders feature by feature will find little to compare.

The practical caveat is that cdmon is a hosting company first. If you want a builder where everything from data to publishing is one product, WordPress on cdmon will still mean learning WordPress.
