What Clepher is
Clepher is a no-code chatbot builder for Instagram Direct Messages and Facebook Messenger. The company's home page says it lets you "automate interactive, 2-way conversations" with a drag and drop Flow Composer, and that "there's zero coding experience needed." The reader it speaks to is a marketer, a small business owner or an agency that wants a bot to nurture relationships, qualify leads, provide support and sell. The company's own guide to no-code automation tools, written by founder Stefan van der Vlag, widens the frame: it describes Clepher as bringing marketing, sales and support automation "for websites, Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram DMs into one central command center," and names its best fit as e-commerce and DTC brands, digital agencies, coaches and SaaS businesses.
The site links to a public Roadmap, a Changelog and a Feature Requests page, and its solutions menu addresses freelancers, agencies, business owners, marketers and support agents.
What you build and how
The build path has 4 verbs on the home page: Create, Automate, Capture and Engage, followed by Live Chat, Audience and Configure. You create a first chatbot with a Step-by-Step Wizard, then automate by dragging flows together in the Composer. The company's own wording is that "if you can draw a stick figure on a piece of paper, you can build a chatbot with Clepher." Install is described as a 10 second job, "ready to build in just 3 clicks." The site menu also lists chatbot templates and ready-made chatbot flows, and a free chatbot training course.
Inside a flow, the feature list is long and specific. Conditions let you send a message only if users match your requirements. Go To Flow cards send people into other flows and keep a large build readable. Random Path randomizes flow distribution, which the page recommends for giveaways. Global Fields are "5 types of system fields that relate to your chatbot," and Custom Fields come in 6 types to capture user input. Personalization tags address subscribers by name. Personas introduce a virtual persona into a chat, and typing indicators make the bot mimic typing. A/B split tests run on whole flows or down to a single message. The home page lists AI Triggers, keywords that trigger automated messages, and the guide adds AI Agents that automate "everything from lead qualification and abandoned cart recovery to live chat handoffs and promotional campaigns." Its e-commerce example is an AI-powered abandoned cart sequence on Messenger that recovers a sale moments after a visitor leaves the site.
Growth tools come next. The home page counts 9 capture tools for turning visitors into subscribers, which it describes as helping you "generate new subscribers" and grow your Messenger and Instagram audience. The Engage step is broadcasts: the company says you can send unlimited broadcasts and choose your own limit, and it pitches Messenger as the channel where a message gets heard. Its engagement numbers are claims from the company, not independent data. They include an 82% average open rate, 4 to 10 times higher click-through rates than email, 2.9 billion combined active users across the two platforms and 72% who are confirmed online buyers.
Audience tools sit behind this. You can see user input, tags and entry points, and subscribers are placed automatically into segments so you can tune the message. The Live Chat feature notifies you when someone needs attention, so a person can take over from the bot. A Configure area lets you set the chatbot to appear as human as you like.
On integrations, the company says Clepher connects natively to "50+ third-party tools (and counting)" with 2-way integrations, and lets you add email and SMS to a flow. Until a favorite app is added natively, the home page says you can use Zapier or Integromat to reach "2000+ tools," while the newer guide counts "access to over 5,000 apps via Zapier, Make, n8n, and Pabbly." The help menu lists an API, documentation, a status page and a community. The home page also lists GDPR Tools, "Privacy & Data Checkup tools" meant to keep you compliant.
The end customer sees a chat in Messenger or in Instagram DMs. The bot can ask questions, store the answers in fields, vary what it says by condition, and hand the conversation to a person through live chat. Because messages go out as ordinary DMs and Messenger threads, there is nothing for the customer to install or sign up for.
What the pages say
On price, the company's guide states plainly: "Not publicly listed. You must contact their team for a demo and pricing details." The footer invites you to "Try it RISK FREE," and a banner carries a "GET INSTANT ACCESS NOW" button. On limits, Clepher states you can "use on unlimited pages": install it on unlimited Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts. The guide makes the same point for agencies, which can "Manage unlimited client Pages and Instagram accounts from a single dashboard." Broadcasts are unlimited, too.
Customer proof is short. Two founders are quoted on the home page. Wilco de Kreij, founder of UpViral, says "Nothing beats this kind of intimacy!" and Mark Thompson, founder of PayKickstart, calls Clepher "The Go-To Tool for Chatbots." The site menu also links a customers page, a "Founding Members" page and a "Support Hall of Fame," plus an ROI calculator and an Email vs. Messenger comparison.
The guide is candid about its own product. Its pros list "True omnichannel automation (Website, FB, IG, WA)," the no-code Flow builder with AI Agents, built-in A/B testing and extensive integrations; its cons list says the lack of public pricing "requires a direct inquiry," that advanced integrations may have a learning curve, and that Clepher "Lacks public testimonials for social proof."
Who it suits and who it does not
Clepher suits a small business, a coach or a marketer who sells through Messenger and Instagram and wants flows with conditions, split tests and segments without a developer. The unlimited pages and accounts model suits an agency that runs bots for many clients from one dashboard. An e-commerce brand gets abandoned cart recovery in chat, and a team that wants chat plus email and SMS in one flow gets that too.
The caveats come from the company's own guide. Pricing runs through a demo rather than a public price list, so budgeting starts with a conversation with the sales team, and the advanced integrations take some learning. The home page's detailed feature tour centers on Messenger and Instagram, so a team buying mainly for website chat or WhatsApp will lean on the guide's description and a demo to see those channels.
