What it is
SurveyPlanet (the site writes it both as Surveyplanet and as Survey Planet) is a web survey and questionnaire builder. It is meant for individuals, small teams and businesses who want to collect answers from customers, employees, patients, event guests or research participants, and who do not want to pay per response. The company's own wording of the promise is "Free unlimited surveys, questions and responses."
Its About page explains the reason it exists. It says that "with a market dominated by paid survey platforms, Surveyplanet was created to give people access to the advanced features they need" without overcharging them. It describes itself as "a small company" that thinks "harder and smarter about how we grow." The pricing page adds that the plans "have cost the same for more than 15 years."
What you build and how
The editor is a survey builder rather than a general app tool. The About page invites you to write your own questions, add your own theme, and "include pictures and custom branding." The pricing page puts image uploads in Pro: Pro users can add images directly to questions as well as to the welcome and success messages. Under Responsive layout, the home page says the free survey creator makes surveys "that work on mobile devices, tablets and desktop computers," and a Preview mode lets you check how a survey looks on different devices before you share it.
Free accounts have more than the basics. The home page says "Surveyplanet offers many free survey tools to everyone; including unlimited surveys, unlimited questions, and unlimited responses." The pricing page lists the rest of the free set: welcome and success messages, 2 survey player types (all questions at once or one question at a time), sharing by email, on social networks or by embedding the survey through an iFrame, anonymous surveys, one-click duplication, SSL security, over 90 pre-written surveys, basic themes, surveys in over 30 languages, basic in-app reports, and the option to delete spam or duplicate participants. 2 organizing tools round it out: you can archive surveys you aren't using and unarchive them later "without any loss of data," and you can apply categories to surveys so they are easy to find in your Survey List.
Several things sit behind a paid plan. The home page states that Pro users get "exporting, branching, and non-branded surveys." The pricing page says Pro results can be exported "into a variety of formats including Word, Excel, CSV, JSON," or a PDF summary, which suits anyone who wants to analyze answers in a spreadsheet or hand them to a colleague as a document. Question branching, which the page says is also known as Skip Logic, shows respondents only the questions that apply based on earlier answers. Pro also adds custom themes (with CSS inputs for more control), white label surveys with your own fonts, colors and logos, an alternative success URL that redirects participants after they finish, image choice questions, optional comments on questions, a survey length estimate, 4 chart types for results, results filtering, and email and SMS completion notifications. Kiosk mode lets participants take a survey on a shared device in high foot traffic areas, which suits a trade show stand or a reception desk.
Enterprise is for larger operations. The pricing page lists Teams, AI analysis of results, custom survey URLs, Survey Insights and API access, which it describes as "our fully documented API" for integrating Surveyplanet with your own platform. Insights covers a live session counter, unique sessions, average time, complete and bounce percentages, a location map, the most difficult questions and device usage. Teams is described as a way to "share your surveys across multiple accounts and collaborate with friends and coworkers." If you need several people editing the same set of forms, that is the plan the site points to.
AI is a notable part of the product. The home page says "Create effective surveys with AI in seconds" and that the integrated AI "generates relevant questions, ensuring comprehensive data collection." It also says AI "automates response analysis, identifies patterns and trends, and provides insights, sentiments." The AI page makes the split by plan explicit: "The Pro package includes AI survey creation, while the Enterprise package provides both AI survey creation and advanced AI-powered analysis of results." After the AI writes questions, "you have full control over reviewing, editing, and customizing them." You describe the survey in a prompt, and the site supplies example prompts if you are unsure how to start. It suggests naming the audience and briefly describing your company to sharpen the output.
Templates are a large part of getting started. An Examples and Templates section groups surveys by purpose. The pages describe market research surveys, product research surveys, customer feedback, employee surveys (including work-life balance and employee benefits), events, healthcare and brand development. The events page suggests using a survey to find out "how many people are coming, what their preferences are, and their contact information," with options that can be images or text, and white labeling to match your event. The healthcare page positions a survey as a way to collect patient feedback, for example in a waiting room. The product research page gives sample questions on value for price, likelihood to recommend, and likelihood to buy in the next 3 months on a 1 to 10 scale, and links to guidance on the Likert scale and net promoter score. A sample size calculator is also in the main navigation.
For a forms reader, the practical picture is this. You can build a registration, feedback or intake questionnaire, publish it responsively, embed it in your website, and collect unlimited answers on the free tier. Connecting it to your own systems runs through the Enterprise API.
The evidence from the pages
The pricing page is explicit. Pro costs "$20 month or $180 year," and the yearly option is described as a saving of $60 that the page calls "like three months FREE." The page offers "discounted pricing for multiple licenses," and the Pro bulk pricing table lists a price per license and an order range by number of users: 1 user at $180, then discounts of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% as the user count rises, with the 26+ row starting at an order of $2340+. All prices are in USD.
Enterprise is listed at "$350 year." Its bulk table works the same way, with the price per license falling from $350 for 1 user to $175 for 26+ users at a 50% discount, and an order range for that row starting at $4550+. The pricing page summarizes the free plan as unlimited surveys, questions and responses.
The home page shows customer reviews copied from Capterra. Carlos S., an RPA developer in chemicals, writes: "The Survey Planet software has been great for all of us." Nicholas K., a CPA, writes: "The affordability is why I will recommend to colleagues." Merrek S., owner of a media production company, writes: "Great experience. Excellent software and customer service." On security, the pricing page names SSL on every request and promises no data-mining or selling of your data.
Who it suits and who it does not
SurveyPlanet suits a founder, teacher, researcher or small business that needs a lot of surveys, a lot of questions and no per-response bill. The price ladder is easy to follow: free, $20 a month or $180 a year for Pro with exports and branching, and $350 a year for Enterprise with Teams and the API. An event planner or a clinic can start with a template, brand it, and send it out in an afternoon.
The tool is narrower than a no-code app platform. Export, branching, images and non-branded surveys all require Pro, so a free account covers collection and basic reports but not analysis outside the app. Teams and API access are Enterprise only, so a group of editors or anyone who wants submissions flowing into another system starts at the top tier.
