Tally

Tally builds a form by typing into a document-style editor, slash commands insert a question type, a file upload, a payment field, a page break, and the whole thing publishes as a clean, traditional scrolling form rather than Typeform’s one-question full-screen approach. Conditional logic, calculations, and a decent template library cover most common use cases on the free plan, with no feature gate forcing an upgrade.
The core plan is free with unlimited forms and unlimited responses, which is the standout feature against a response-metered competitor like Typeform, and paid tiers mainly add branding removal, more storage, and advanced integrations. Responses export to CSV or connect to Google Sheets, Zapier, and other tools through native integrations. The ceiling is visual polish and animation, Tally’s forms are functional and clean but don’t have Typeform’s cinematic full-screen feel, so brand-forward campaigns may still prefer Typeform’s presentation. It fits indie makers, small businesses, and anyone building a high volume of simple forms, contact, waitlist, feedback, who doesn’t want response count driving the bill.
