What Pointerpro is

Pointerpro calls itself "an all-in-one platform to create attractive online assessments and automatically deliver personalized advice reports in PDF or .ppt," now "with optional AI enhancement." It is a questionnaire builder with a report engine attached, so it fits the forms category in a specific way: the form is the front half of a product whose output is a scored, branded report. The company says it is trusted by 1,500+ companies, "like consultants, coaches and in-house experts," who build employee assessments, maturity assessments, risk assessments, training assessments and 360 reviews. The company's location is not stated. The site is offered in English, Dutch, German, Spanish and French.

The reader this suits is a consultant, coach, HR professional or marketing professional who already has a method and wants to scale it. The homepage line is "Your methodology is the product. Pointerpro gives you the infrastructure to scale."

What you build and how

The platform is organized as 4 tools, and the homepage names each one.

The Questionnaire Builder is where you build "engaging questionnaires" meant to boost response rates. The Report Builder creates full-fledged templates that auto-personalize feedback in branded reports, delivered in PDF or .ppt. The Distribution Portal lets your clients distribute assessments and track results independently. The Dashboard Builder visualizes data in many ways for every stakeholder.

The Distribution Portal matters if you build for others. One customer, Nicolas Gounin, CFO and COO of Egg Science, says: "The HR of my clients can administer their assessments to different teams as they wish. This way, employees benefit from their individual reports and HR can analyze group data and reports. With the Distribution Portal, HR doesn't need to ask me if a certain person has filled in the questionnaire. They can check by themselves and manage the respondents directly."

The homepage groups what you can build into use cases, each with the Pointerpro features it leans on:

  • Maturity and readiness assessments, which benchmark clients against your standard and give personalized feedback instantly. The company suggests baseline measurement, client intake and follow-up, and lead generation, using the Report Builder, Benchmarking and Advanced scoring.
  • Risk and compliance assessments, which surface exposure areas and give tailored remediation guidance, for risk audits and regulatory intake, using Report Builder, Advanced scoring and Aggregate Reports.
  • Employee assessments, which evaluate skills, competencies and engagement, for employee programs and skill gap analyses.
  • Longitudinal assessments that track progress over time with before and after comparisons in individual reports, for consultancy programs and training ROI.
  • Team and group assessments that analyze dynamics, collaboration styles and collective strengths with aggregated insights, with native integrations.
  • 360 reviews, which collect multi-rater feedback and benchmark individuals against group or industry norms, for leadership development.

There is also a feature page for the interactive calculator. It takes input from respondents and uses formulas to generate numerical results. The company pitches it as a lead generation tool, and lists ROI calculators, cost calculators, and time or cost savings calculators, with a mortgage calculator among its financial examples.

On branding, the company says Pointerpro is white-label end to end, "from the first question to the final report," across every assessment, report, dashboard and channel. The homepage adds that "there's no limit to the number of assessments you build."

AI is optional. The AI prompt widget enhances personalized reports "with even richer feedback, grounded in your own assessment logic and structure." The company's wording is that your expertise drives the advice and AI amplifies it, if you want it to.

Integrations are listed as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, Cloud SQL, Zapier and Make, with a link to all integrations. The pages describe data transfer to your favorite tools through one of the integration options.

The company also sells help alongside the software. Do-it-yourself means you build everything and the team makes sure you learn the key features, supporting you until launch. Done-for-you is "the quickest way to get there": you share your existing assessment and PDF report, and the team translates them into Pointerpro and then teaches you to make changes and distribute the assessment. Onboarding includes dedicated 1-on-1 sessions.

Pricing, compliance and support

Pointerpro publishes no prices. The pricing answer on the site reads: "Your assessment challenges and objectives are unique to you. So is our pricing. Request your quote and find how we can help you." You can pay monthly for the Professional and the Enterprise plan; the site names those two plans and gives no amounts for them. You can book a free demo, and the company says to ask about the build-it-for-you option when you get your demo. The homepage also has a get-started-for-free call to action.

For security, the company says it is ISO 27001:2022 certified, and the site lists the ISO 27001 certification at the foot of the page. Asked whether it is GDPR compliant, the FAQ answers: "Yes, we are."

For support, the site promises timely and efficient assistance around the clock from a global support team, and an Onboarding Team that guides you through creating and launching assessments and reports. One customer, Riaan van der Merwe of Attain Global, says "I feel like I’m part of the family." Other quotes on the homepage include Brian Glibkowski of Semplar Science, who found "a modular assessment builder that allowed me to customize solutions based upon any variable," and Krister Ungerbock, who says "it became really clear that Pointerpro offered dramatically more value for cost." These are selected by the company.

Who it suits and who it does not

Pointerpro is for people who sell expertise as a questionnaire and a report: a consultant with a maturity model, a coach with a skills diagnostic, an HR team running 360 reviews, or a marketer who wants a calculator that qualifies leads. The distribution portal and white-label branding make it workable for an advisor whose clients run assessments themselves.

It is not a general form tool. If you need a contact form, an order form or a simple survey, the report engine is more than you need. The pricing is by quote, with no public tier to compare. And the company states plainly that it offers no premade assessments: "We don't provide any content for your assessments," so you bring the questions, scoring and advice yourself, or pay the team to build it with you.
