What the product is
Outgrow is a no-code builder for interactive content: surveys, quizzes and calculators that ask a visitor questions and hand back a result while collecting the visitor's details as a lead. The homepage headline is "Boost Your Marketing With Quizzes, Calculators And Forms" with the line "Use Outgrow's simple, no-code tools to acquire qualified leads." It is written for marketers and small business owners who want something more engaging than a static contact form and who do not have a developer on hand. A reviewer quoted on the homepage calls it "equally useful for beginners and advanced users alike".
The product menu is wider than the three formats in this entry's categories. It lists calculators, recommendations, quizzes, giveaways and contests, polls, forms, surveys, chatbots, assessments and a landing page builder. In forms terms, Outgrow sits between a survey tool and a lead-magnet generator: a plain form collects fields, while an Outgrow quiz or calculator makes the visitor work through questions and then shows a personalized result, which is where the lead capture happens.
What you build and how
The editor. The calculator page describes "A WYSIWYG website calculator builder" that gives "the freedom to create complex calculators without having to learn to code or hire developers", where you "simply drag and drop elements". The survey page makes the same point: you do not have to hire a programmer, "Just select the right options". The build follows 7 steps on that page: choose Survey, start from scratch or a template, add or edit questions, images and display settings, create a lead generation form and design a thank-you page, optimize for SEO and set email notifications, go live, then embed the result on your website or newsletter or promote it by direct URL.
Templates and AI. The homepage claims "1000+ beautiful pre-optimized templates" and sorts them into numerical calculators, outcome quizzes, assessments, finance and ecommerce. The survey template library is filtered by industry, from art and auto to healthcare, insurance, real estate and travel. An AI survey generator asks about your industry, target audience, keywords and tone and drafts a survey "in a couple of minutes", and you can ask it for more suggestions for the welcome screen, questions and results page.
Surveys. The survey maker covers the forms side. Responses can be sorted and exported, and you can watch data in real time or track device, web browser, location, survey source and completion time. A "Compare" tab sets 2 or more surveys side by side as an A/B test, a "Relate" tab looks for correlations between variables such as responses, country and browser, and a "User Funnels" view in the Analyze tab shows where people dropped off and how many clicked the call to action on the results page. Lead details go to a CRM "via links, integrations, webhooks, or Google Sheets".
Quizzes. This is the quiz-makers side of the listing. Quizzes come from the same editor and templates, and the outcome quiz is one of the main template groups. A reviewer on the survey page says "I love that I can mix different types of questions: Multiple choice, open ended, or select all that apply." Another, a blogger, praises the social share on the outcome so readers can post their result and return to the site.
Calculators. This is the calculator-builders side. The calculator page names a formula builder: "If you're creating your calculator from scratch, you can analyze your workflow and easily create complex formulas in terms of questions and results." Examples in the company's blog links include a financial investment calculator, an ROI calculator the page says you can build in 4 steps and under 10 minutes, and a heart disease risk calculator. Result pages can carry social media share widgets, and the page mentions free stock images powered by Unsplash.
Publishing. The calculator page says Outgrow lets you embed content "on blogs, ads, email newsletters, and web pages" in forms such as "full-page, in-page, popup style, chatbot style". The homepage adds exit intent and hosting on your own subdomain: "Embed Outgrow content on your page, as a popup, in chat, exit intent or on your subdomain."
Integrations. The homepage menu groups native integrations by type: HubSpot and ActiveCampaign for CRM, PayPal and Stripe for payments, One Drive and Dropbox for storage, and Mailchimp and Aweber for email. It promises you can "integrate your data with over 1000 tools" and pitches native integrations as a way to "Build your workflows without 3rd party integration costs". The calculator page says CRM connections come through "both native and Zapier integrations".
Trial, support and customers
The site's buttons offer a Free Trial and "Try Surveys For Free", plus a scheduled demo. Plan prices sit on a separate Pricing page rather than on these product pages.
Support is a selling point: the homepage promises "Around the clock chat support" and the survey page says the support team "is available 24/7". Reviewers back that up. One says a chat ticket "invariably it gets answered with 40 minutes"; another says technical support helped by phone and that the sales rep had researched their company before the call. The company also runs AI consulting, a partners marketplace, an affiliate and certified partner program, webinars, eBooks, courses and a podcast.
The homepage shows a "4.9/5" average rating from "1000+ Reviews" and a run of case studies with their own figures: VenturePact "Generated 87,381 Qualified Leads Using an Interactive Calculator", Inventrom 65,877 qualified leads, and Arquati 73,370 leads and 1.3 million views. Each figure belongs to that customer's campaign.
The reviews also carry honest complaints. One reviewer wants "more page editing features rather than to depend on templates" and says they cannot change the background color of an embedded quiz without CSS knowledge. Another would like an advanced drag and drop editor and a more flexible placement for the lead generation module, and a third says more fonts are needed to match a brand book.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
Outgrow suits a marketer building a lead magnet: a quiz that segments a newsletter audience, an ROI calculator on a SaaS landing page, a recommendation quiz for an online store, or a survey that feeds HubSpot or Mailchimp. A small team without a developer can reach a working version quickly, the AI generator gets a first draft out of the way, and the CRM hand-off through native integrations, webhooks and Google Sheets keeps leads moving. An agency can use the subdomain hosting and the partner program.
It is a less natural choice for internal request routing or approval workflows, which the product doesn't set out to do. And reviewers say design control rests heavily on templates, so a brand with strict typography should test fonts and embed styling on the free trial before committing.
