What FigForm is

FigForm is a visual form builder for people who care about how a form looks and sounds. Its home page puts it as "a visual form builder for people who care about their brand" and promises to turn inquiries, signups and feedback into "something unmistakably you." The audiences it names are independent designers, creative agencies, marketing teams and thoughtful founders.

The home page closes with a note from Aaron, who introduces himself as the founder and says there is "a real person behind it," and the comparison articles carry the byline Aaron Delasy. A footer line says the product is "Hosted in the EU." The site does not give a company location or a founding year.

What you build and how

You build forms, surveys and quizzes. The home page describes the free plan as including unlimited forms, surveys and quizzes, with unlimited responses, an intuitive editor, form embedding, file uploads and branding customization. Typical examples on the page are client inquiries, product feedback and event registration, each shown as a starter template in an interactive demo. The sample forms show the style the company has in mind: a studio intake form that asks whether you want a brand identity, a new website or something else, a feedback form with 3 lettered answer choices, and an event signup where the respondent picks the workshop, the conversation or both. Each is a single question per screen with lettered options and a short headline, closer to a conversation than to a long grid of fields.

The editor is the point of the product. The home page demo lets you pick a starting template, change the brand color and switch the corners between soft and sharp, then add a field, all in a preview that the FAQ says is local only: its changes and sample answers are not submitted. A company article goes further and says FigForm brings "the precision and familiarity of design tools to form building." It lists canvas-based editing with pixel-perfect positioning, a layer management system for complex layouts, advanced typography controls, a spacing system with consistent design tokens, and professional brand management with reusable style components. It also lists real-time collaborative editing as "coming soon." The home page puts the same idea in plainer words: "Your colors, your type, your way of doing things." A "Try a different mood" control swaps the look of a sample form in one click.

The FAQ answers the no-code question directly. You add questions, arrange the layout and adjust the design in the visual editor, and you can start from a template or use AI to help create a first draft. The FAQ also says you can customize your form's colors, typography and layout on every plan.

AI is part of the offer. The same article describes natural language form creation from a project description, smart field type suggestions, content optimization for higher completion rates, intelligent conditional logic recommendations, a continuing conversation for iterative changes, and performance insights. The limits are stated on the pricing cards: 5 AI requests on Free, 500 on Pro and 1,000 on Business.

Publishing is by link or by embed. Every plan includes form embedding, and you can also share a direct link, so responses can be collected with or without a website. The demo section shows "Share a link," "Embed on your website," and, on the Business plan, "Your own domain." Business includes 10 custom domains.

On the data side, the home page says responses are kept together so you can see how your forms perform, and its demo shows sample data of "128 conversations started" for the week. The site's footer shows a public status indicator, which read "Operational", and links a Roadmap, a Changelog and a Building in Public page where the company shares progress.

For developers, the company article says FigForm offers a React SDK with TypeScript definitions, a modern API with RESTful endpoints, advanced embedding options for complex use cases and a webhook-first architecture, with custom integrations for enterprise needs listed as "coming soon." In practice the connection to other tools runs through webhooks and the API rather than a gallery of one-click integrations. The article also claims sub-2-second load times, advanced caching, CDN-optimized delivery, real-time updates without page refreshes, a mobile-first architecture and 99.9% uptime with global redundancy; those are the company's own performance statements, not an audited service level.

The end user is the person filling in a form on a link or an embedded page, with the brand colors and type chosen by the form's owner.

Plans and pricing

The pricing section is clear and monthly or yearly billing can be toggled, with "2 Months Free" on yearly.

  • Free is $0 a month and covers unlimited forms, surveys and quizzes, unlimited responses, the editor, embedding, file uploads, branding customization, 1 team member and 5 AI requests.
  • Pro is $24 a month, or $288 billed yearly with $60 a year saved. It adds removal of FigForm branding, 3 team members, 500 AI requests and email support.
  • Business is $74 a month, or $888 billed yearly with $180 a year saved. It includes 10 custom domains, 10 team members, 1,000 AI requests and premium support.

The page repeats that you get "Unlimited forms and responses. Even on Free," and that you can start with no card needed. The upgrade triggers it names are more teammates and removing FigForm branding.

Branding is the main step between plans: per the FAQ, Pro removes FigForm branding, and Business adds custom domains "for a complete branded experience." Beyond the pricing cards, the site offers a Help Center, a template gallery, a blog, a partner program and a feedback page, and the founder invites questions and ideas directly.

The company article, dated November 5, 2025, makes pricing claims of its own: a generous free tier, transparent pricing with no hidden costs, flat-rate scaling regardless of response volume, and no usage-based limits on core functionality. That matches the pricing cards, where the paid steps are set by team members, AI requests, branding and domains rather than by responses.

Who it suits and who it does not

FigForm suits a designer, agency or small marketing team that wants client or brand forms to look deliberate, a founder who needs unlimited responses without paying at the start, and anyone who wants to embed a branded form on an existing site. The free plan is generous on forms and responses, and the paid plans are priced by team size and branding rather than by response volume.

It is a thinner choice for teams that need a long catalog of ready-made integrations or a large number of seats, since the top plan includes 10 team members and connections run through webhooks and the API. Collaborative editing and custom integrations are still marked "coming soon", which matters for a team that edits forms together. The 5 AI requests on Free are enough to try the AI drafting, not to rely on it.
