What it is

Drag'n Survey is a French online questionnaire tool for building surveys, quizzes and market studies in a drag-and-drop editor, and for analyzing the answers in the same place. Its home page describes it as free online questionnaire software that is quick to learn and open to anyone without training, and sums up the offer as software to supervise your accounts, create your statistics, share your results and boost your productivity. The company's blog, published in French, English and German, presents it as a French product, and its English article says the data collected is stored in France and Germany.

The reader it serves is a researcher, a trainer, a customer-experience or HR team, or a small business that wants to ask people questions and get statistics back. It sits under forms in this directory because the thing you build is a questionnaire form that people fill in, but its center of gravity is surveys: collecting opinions, scoring answers and reading the results.

What you build and how

The product is organized as three steps, and the home page names them: create, distribute, analyze.

Create. The editor works by drag and drop, which the site says reduces the number of clicks. The company's English blog adds conditional branches, a Net Promoter Score question type, automatically generated GDPR information notices and multilingual questionnaires, with an automatic translation of the form according to the respondent so you do not build one survey per language. There is a large choice of question types, organized by the kind of answer, and a question bank and survey templates for starting quickly. The site says you can build a market study, a survey or a questionnaire quickly and without training. You customize the survey with your organization's colors and logo, so respondents recognize who is asking, and the company talks up visuals that catch the eye. It also offers a quiz mode: a quiz adds a score to the answers given, and a timer can be added to limit the time a participant has. The site gives these examples for quizzes: evaluating training, creating a game or a contest, designing personality tests and knowledge tests.

Distribute. You publish a study by email, a web link, a blog or social networks, and answers are collected immediately.

Analyze. Data is analyzed in real time. You customize your reports with the analysis tools, and publish them in Excel and PDF formats. Results can be shared through a web link, posted on your CRM, sent by email or shared on forums.

AI. An AI feature, described as built in, analyzes a large volume of comments at once. It produces a general keyword cloud and identifies the satisfaction level and the main keywords by satisfaction index, positive or negative. For open-ended feedback this saves reading hundreds of free-text answers one by one. The blog adds that responses can be tracked in real time and that trends can be followed over time by breaking results down by day, week, month and year.

Account supervision. For organizations with several people running surveys, the site lists the ability to supervise accounts: distribute survey templates, supervise your collaborators' accounts, and compile and segment results across them. That is the feature that moves the tool from one person's survey maker to something a department can run.

Panel of participants. If you have no audience of your own, the company offers a panel of several million people in France and worldwide. You select the audience from many criteria and use it to evaluate your market, test ideas or measure awareness.

The evidence from the pages

Free and paid plans. The company's English blog says Drag'n Survey includes a freemium offer, and that this free option has no time limits and allows you to carry out quality surveys. Paid offers are named Premium and PLUS. PLUS is 24 euros including VAT per month, or 240 euros including VAT per year. Premium is 49 euros including tax per month, or 490 euros including tax per year.

Demo and onboarding. The home page invites visitors to create a free account and offers a demo booking. The home page also frames its pitch around three promises: captivating forms, built-in artificial intelligence and powerful, accessible analyses.

Customers. The home page has a section titled "Ils utilisent Drag'n Survey" showing logos.

Integrations and export. The home page mentions exporting reports to Excel and PDF, sharing the report with a web link, and posting it to a CRM. The English blog says the software connects to many applications through its API and Zapier, and that you can integrate a chat on your website.

Compliance and hosting. The company's English blog says it is a solution that complies with GDPR standards and that, "for maximum security," the data collected is stored in France and Germany.

Use cases. The company's English blog says a few clicks are enough to create and format a completely customizable questionnaire for the company's needs and brand image, and lists customer and employee satisfaction surveys, market studies, marketing surveys and event planning as uses. The German blog calls it a user-friendly online survey software (benutzerfreundliche Online-Umfragesoftware).

Who it suits and who it does not

Drag'n Survey suits market-research and customer-feedback work, employee surveys, training evaluations and quizzes. The free plan lets a small team, a teacher or an association start without paying, and the paid PLUS plan at 24 euros a month including VAT is a modest step up. A French-speaking organization benefits from a site written in its language, a European team gets data stored in France and Germany, and the AI keyword and satisfaction analysis is useful for anyone with a lot of open comments to read.

A few concrete setups follow from the feature list. A trainer can build a scored quiz with a timer to evaluate a course, publish it by web link and read the scores in real time. A customer-experience team can collect comments through a link on its blog or social networks, then run the AI over them to see a keyword cloud and the split between positive and negative satisfaction. A head of research can distribute survey templates to colleagues, supervise their accounts and compile and segment the results into one Excel or PDF report for stakeholders.

It suits less well a team that wants a general form builder for payments, file uploads or automations: the product is described around surveys, quizzes and reports rather than payment fields or workflow tools. The panel is a differentiator for research, offered as a service alongside the survey software.
