What it is
Brieform is a form builder with no builder screen. You connect it once to the AI assistant you already use, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, describe the form you need in a sentence, and Brieform publishes it as a normal web page with its own link. It is aimed at freelancers, agencies, founders and small teams who already do their planning in an AI chat and don't want to switch tools to collect answers. The site says it is hosted and operated in the EU.
The people who fill in the form never meet an AI. They get a link, a set of questions and a submit button, with no account to create and nothing to install. The AI sits only on your side of the fence.
What you build and how
Setup. You paste one URL, brieform.app/api/mcp/mcp, into your AI's settings and approve the sign-in. The site says Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Le Chat, Perplexity and VS Code all accept it, and that the whole thing takes about a minute.
Building. You say something like "Create a client intake form with budget and timeline." Your AI writes the fields, the validation and the logic, calls the create and publish tools, and hands back a live link in the same message. The page's own example reads "5 fields, live at brieform.app/f/intake." To change the form you keep talking: each message can add, change or remove a rule or a field, on a draft or an already published form. Fields, validation, branching, steps and themes are all part of the output. There is no canvas and no drag handles.
The tools your AI gets. Brieform speaks MCP, which the site calls an open standard, and every action in the product exists as a tool your AI can call. The home page lists twelve. Seven change things: create_form, update_form, publish_form, unpublish_form (offline, responses kept), set_form_theme (a preset, a hex color or a description), duplicate_form and delete_form (confirmation required), and each one is logged in your account. Five read things: get_responses (filter by date, export as CSV), get_form (structure, theme and response count), list_forms (filter by status, search by name), get_form_share_assets (link, embed snippet, social image and QR code) and get_form_analytics (views, submissions, conversion rate, top referrers). All of them work on the free plan.
Fields and design. The site lists 13 field types: text, email, tel, textarea, select, radio, checkbox, rating, date, number, url, password and a GDPR field. There are 8 themes, from Modern Blue and Slate Professional to Corporate Neutral and Minimal Stone, or your own color, and one line such as "Make it match our site, rounded corners, serif headings." restyles the whole form, fonts and corner radius included. After submit, a form shows your thank-you message or redirects to any URL.
Branching. Conditional logic is a feature page of its own. You describe the rule in plain English, for instance "if the company size field is over 50 employees, show the enterprise support question," and Brieform sets the condition. It supports 8 condition types: equals, not equals, contains, not contains, greater than, less than, is empty and is not empty. A condition can target a single field or a whole step of a multi-step form, one field can drive several rules, and a field on step 3 can refer to an answer from step 1. A live preview shows the rule at work. For respondents, hidden fields take no space and appear at once when the condition is met, without a page reload. The page suggests lead qualification, customer intake and application forms as the natural uses.
Reading answers. Responses go into your account, and you can ask your AI about them in the same thread. The site's example is asking how the intake form did this week and getting a plain-language summary. The raw rows export as CSV from the dashboard whenever you want them, and the home page says responses go wherever your AI already reaches, naming Notion, Google Sheets and Zapier.
Sharing and publishing. Each form gets a public link, an embed snippet and a QR code. The site's use-case pages cover lead capture, contact forms, customer intake, job applications, feedback surveys and event registration, and a templates page exists for starting points.
Trying it first. The home page has a live demo that runs the same generator. It allows 2 tries with no signup.
Plans, prices and limits
There are two plans on the home page.
- Free, $0 a month: "Unlimited forms · unlimited responses (fair use)." Every form tool is available in your AI, form analytics included. All field types, multi-step forms and conditional logic are included. Forms your AI builds are unlimited, while Brieform-side AI generation is capped at 20 a month. File uploads go up to 10 MB per file, CSV export is included, and forms carry "Made with Brieform" branding.
- Pro, aimed at freelancers and agencies, $16 a month on the pricing card, shown against a struck-through $32 as a "50% off Founders Rate, forever" that the page says is applied automatically at checkout. It includes everything in Free plus pre-quote intakes (paste a client brief and get a form that asks only what is missing), every new specialist tool as it ships, unlimited Brieform-side AI generation, no Brieform branding, an email notification for every response and priority support. The page shows a monthly or annual toggle with the annual option labeled "-20%" and says you can cancel anytime.
The page also says no credit card is needed for the free plan, and that conditional logic is free on every plan with no limit on rules per form.
The site describes building a form there as "One sentence in your AI chat," against dragging and clicking through settings panels. For questions, the page invites you to email the founder and says every message gets read, and a docs section, changelog and security page are linked from the menu.
Who it suits and who it does not
Brieform suits someone who spends the day in an AI assistant and wants a form out the door in one message: a freelancer sending a client intake, a founder running a waitlist or churn survey, an agency that wants a branded quote-request form on the paid plan. Because the answers come back into the same conversation, it also suits people who would otherwise paste CSV rows into a chat to get a summary.
It is a narrower tool than a general form platform. You need an AI client that supports connecting tools, so a team that doesn't use one gets little from it. The free plan caps Brieform-side generation at 20 a month and shows the Brieform badge, both of which Pro lifts. And because there is no visual editor, a person who likes to arrange fields by hand has to work through the chat instead.
