What it is

AidaForm is an online form maker for people who want forms that look good and behave well without technical skills. Its home page puts it this way: create classic or conversational forms for registrations, applications, orders, surveys, quizzes and more, customize the design, add logic and automate workflows. The company says it is "Trusted by 1M+ users since 2019," and lists EU and US hosting, GDPR-readiness and no coding as the headline points.

The reader it fits best is a freelancer, small business owner or consultant who needs a polished form on their own website quickly, plus a team that wants quizzes, order forms or price calculators built from the same editor. The site is available in English, Deutsch and Français.

What you build and how

The editor is drag and drop. You start from a blank form or from one of 500+ ready-to-use templates, add questions, then change the layout and branding: colors, fonts, buttons and images. The company says every template is mobile-ready and easy to edit. Template families include event registration, job application (with standard questions and CV upload), customer satisfaction and NPS surveys, order forms, consent forms, release forms, evaluation and feedback forms, test and quiz templates, and client intake forms. There are also templates by industry: education and training, event management, HR, nonprofit, sports, photography and videography, and restaurants and catering. One template is a simple online shop with multiple order carts and payment methods.

Layout is a real choice. You can build conversational forms that ask one question at a time, traditional layouts that show everything at once, or multi-page flows.

Logic is the second pillar. The home page describes dynamic branching: show or hide fields, guide respondents through different paths, calculate totals, redirect users after submission, and let the form adapt to every answer. A feature list on the site names logic jumps, show and hide, signature fields, file upload, payment forms, and video and audio forms.

The most distinctive part is calculation. A dedicated page on web calculators explains two field types. The Formula field lets you set any math expression, however complicated, and the Calculation field computes on the basis of the answers and choices your clients provide. With them you can build a one-page widget that shows a result from numbers a visitor enters, or a multi-page form that calculates a price and also collects orders and payments. The page offers templates to copy, including a Service Order Form that works out house size and the price of cleaning services, a Photography Order Form that prices a selection of services, a mortgage calculator, a body mass index calculator and a net promoter score calculator. It also says order forms can handle a price that depends on certain factors, a volume discount or sales tax.

Publishing is hosted. The calculator page states: "All created forms and calculators are hosted by AidaForm and you get a ready-to-use embed code to make the calculator a part of your website." You turn the publishing status to ON in the Publish section, copy the embed code and paste it on one or more pages. The company says calculators are compatible with WordPress, Wix and many other platforms. Other options on the home page are a custom form link, embedding forms directly into your website, and sharing by email. A Form Designer section controls the look so a calculator can match your brand.

Responses are collected and stored in your AidaForm account, where you can manage and download them. The page also says you can have response data delivered to your inbox every time a new submission arrives. The integrations named on the home page are specific: responses can be sent automatically to Google Sheets, payments accepted through Stripe or PayPal, and forms connected to thousands of other tools through Zapier. Built-in analytics let you track submissions as they arrive and spot trends, and the page says you can check the devices people use to answer and when they did. Automation covers automatic emails, redirects, calculations and conditional flows. Forms can also be published on your company's own domain, and the page offers video questions with audio or video answers for richer feedback.

The evidence

On pricing, the pages name plans but print no prices. The calculator page says you need an Expert or Ultimate plan to edit and customize the Formula and Calculation fields. A free account lets you view all settings, but paid functionality is disabled on the published form. The company also says: "Contact us to get a free 2-week trial to see if AidaForm is what you are looking for!" There is a Free plan: the home page says you can "Build unlimited forms, customize form links, and add your logo to build branded experiences that look polished and professional" and adds that this holds "even on the Free plan." It invites visitors to "Use AidaForm for Free." One reviewer mentions "a rich set of tools in the free version."

Scale and hosting claims: the home page cites 1M+ users since 2019, 500+ templates, EU and US hosting and GDPR-ready. Its security section says submissions are protected with encrypted transfers, secure storage, CAPTCHA protection and GDPR-friendly consent fields.

Reviews on the home page are specific. One reviewer writes: "It took me about 5 minutes to create my first form and embed it into my website." The same reviewer calls it "extremely competitive and much more affordable." Another reviewer says: "Plenty of customization but not too much that someone could make it ugly or nonFunctional." A fourth says the ability to run tests and quizzes is a big plus for their use case. A maritime crew agent praises the layout of the form in PDF format when it arrives by email. Another reviewer uses AidaForm for business card ordering and for lead generation forms on client websites.

The support surface is a help center, guides and a blog, with articles on customer satisfaction surveys, customer experience surveys, feedback question examples and post-event survey questions. An affiliate program and an awards page also appear.

Who it suits and who it does not

AidaForm suits a freelancer or agency building order forms, lead forms or quizzes for client sites, and a small business that wants a price estimator on its own page without hiring a developer. The company says every template is mobile-ready, and the template library means few forms start from nothing.

The caveats are about gating and depth. The calculation features that set it apart need a paid Expert or Ultimate plan, so test them in the trial before committing. The named integrations are a short list (Google Sheets, Stripe, PayPal, and Zapier for the rest), so a team that needs a direct link into a niche system will route it through Zapier. And it is a hosted form product, so it fits people who want a form running rather than a codebase to own.
