What it is

Wassenger is a WhatsApp Business platform for teams, and Wassenger Flows is its automation product. The company's own line for Flows is "The AI-centric no-code WhatsApp automation tool. Build custom AI agents, automate workflows and connect 400+ apps." The surrounding product is a shared inbox, a built-in CRM, broadcast campaigns and an AI assistant, all on top of WhatsApp. The site says it is "Used by support, sales, e-commerce, services and operations teams."

So the entry covers 3 things at once: a workflow builder, a chatbot and AI-agent builder, and a WhatsApp-specific tool. Someone who arrives from a chatbot or WhatsApp page and someone who arrives from an automation page land on the same product. The homepage calls it "The AI-native operating system" for WhatsApp and claims "10M+ daily messages" on the platform.

What you build and how

The builder is a drag-and-drop editor. Flows is described as a "Drag-and-drop builder powered by n8n under the hood" that connects Wassenger, your CRM, your spreadsheets and the AI of your choice, with "no engineers required." The company lists "Three superpowers for one platform": no-code workflows, native WhatsApp integration and AI agents, all in the same workspace as the shared inbox.

You can start from a template or from a blank canvas. The site says you can pick a template, adjust the steps and deploy in minutes, or start blank and build your own. The template gallery shows what the company expects people to build, and most of it is chatbot work:

  • AI Agent Chatbot with Memory storage
  • Auto-assign WhatsApp Chats to Departments and Users with AI
  • AI WhatsApp Agent for data training and smart customer support
  • An AI agent bot that understands text, audio, images and documents
  • WhatsApp Appointments AI Agent with Google Calendar integration
  • AI Agent with Supabase Datastore
  • A general-purpose WhatsApp AI agent support bot
  • AI Agent Rerank Cohere
  • A WhatsApp group moderator built with AI
  • WhatsApp and HubSpot automation for CRM, and WhatsApp and Slack automation
  • A WhatsApp and Shopify integration
  • Publishing the latest YouTube videos to a WhatsApp Channel
  • A Social Auto-Publisher from GitHub to social platforms

For chatbot builders, the AI side is the main attraction. The company says you can "Drop a Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini node anywhere in the chain" and that "The agent reads context, drafts replies, classifies intent," without leaving Wassenger. Outside Flows, the product also offers an AI Assistant with ChatGPT-powered replies, and connectors that let Claude or ChatGPT draft replies that your team approves before sending. A separate feature connects WhatsApp to Claude or ChatGPT so the AI "replies, summarizes and sorts your chats."

Connectors matter for the automation side. The site lists "400+ app connectors," with native nodes for Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, OpenAI and Google Sheets. It also names native Zapier, Make and n8n integrations, with webhooks for everything else. For developers, Flows supports custom nodes via webhooks, code blocks for JS and Python, and a full REST API. The developer pages describe an official MCP server for connecting WhatsApp to AI assistants, a REST API with "80+ examples" in "15+ languages," and real-time webhooks with automatic retries.

The rest of the workspace is what an end customer and your team actually touch. The inbox puts one WhatsApp number in front of the whole team, with each agent seeing only their own chats. Departments route chats by department or skill. Analytics track response time and SLA in real time. There is a built-in CRM with custom fields, a sales funnel board, campaigns using Meta-approved templates, WhatsApp voice calls and a mobile app for iOS and Android. The customer sees an automatic signature with the agent's name on each reply.

Plans, limits and claims

Flows is bundled. The Flows page says the builder, AI nodes and 400 connectors are "free with every Wassenger plan," while the pricing table on the homepage lists "Flows (no-code automation)" among the features of the Business plan. Prices are in euros, with a monthly rate and a lower annual rate shown per month:

  • Professional ("Easy start"): €39.90 a month, or €33.25 billed annually. It includes 1 WhatsApp number, 3 agents, a shared inbox with chat assignment, quick replies, labels and notes, auto-replies and scheduled messages, the ChatGPT AI Assistant and AI Copilot, 10 campaigns a month at 500 recipients each, an open API, MCP integration and email support.
  • Business ("Built to scale"): €69.90 a month, or €58.25 billed annually. It adds 6 agents, 20 campaigns a month at 1,000 recipients each, delivery and read tracking with CSV export, auto-assignment and advanced auto-replies, Flows, departments with auto-routing and priority support.
  • Enterprise ("Everything you need"): €99.90 a month, or €83.25 billed annually. It includes 9 agents, with extra agents at €14 a month each, 100 campaigns a month at 2,000 recipients each, fine-grained permissions (read, reply, assign, delete, export), the option to hide contact phone numbers from agents, MCP integration with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools, and priority chat support.

Annual billing is described as "2 months free." Template costs set by Meta are billed separately "at cost," with "no markup on our end," and the site offers a WABA pricing calculator. The homepage says "Start free for 7 days, no credit card." If you do not subscribe afterward, "your workspace pauses and you keep access to read your chats." Cancellation is monthly or yearly with no lock-in.

On setup, the site says you connect your current number by scanning a QR code, with "Same number, same chats," and that it takes under 5 minutes. It also states that a verified business number is required for the official WhatsApp Business API, and that if you have no WABA yet it will "guide you through Meta's 5-min setup." The company says Wassenger connects to Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. It claims its REST API is "Battle-tested in production by 5,000+ businesses worldwide," which is the company's own figure. The site is offered in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and German. An affiliate program pays "25% for 12 months," and a reseller program offers a white-label WhatsApp API.

Who it suits and who it does not

Wassenger suits support, sales and operations teams whose customers already talk to them on WhatsApp. If your work is replying, routing, following up and logging conversations, the inbox, the CRM and Flows sit in one place, and the AI agent templates give a chatbot builder a quick start. Agencies get a reseller route.

It suits less well anyone who wants a general automation tool that happens to touch WhatsApp. Flows is built to extend a WhatsApp workspace, and its plans are structured around agents and campaigns. The product depends on Meta's WhatsApp Business API, so Meta's template fees pass through at cost and a verified business number is required. Teams that need many seats pay €14 a month per extra agent on the Enterprise tier, and Flows sits in the Business plan in the pricing table, so a team on Professional should check that it gets the automation it needs. There is no free plan; the offer is a 7-day trial.
