Self-hosting is free and open source under a fair-use license, with a managed cloud plan priced by usage for teams that skip running their own server. Because it’s open source, self-hosted teams keep full control of their workflow data and credentials, a real lock-in advantage over the closed cloud-only tools in this category. The ceiling is a smaller integration catalog than Zapier’s mature marketplace, and the project is younger, so some connectors and edge cases are less battle-tested.
