What Redwood is

Redwood is an enterprise automation vendor whose main product, RunMyJobs by Redwood, orchestrates business and IT processes across ERP, CRM and other enterprise applications. The company calls the category SOAP, short for service orchestration and automation platform, and the homepage promises you can "Orchestrate end-to-end business processes across ERP, CRM and all your enterprise applications." It is written for IT and operations teams in large organizations, and especially for those running SAP. The homepage says it is "Trusted by 50% of the Fortune 50 and top global enterprises." The same company also sells Tidal by Redwood, a workload automation product its article describes as similar to RunMyJobs; this entry covers RunMyJobs.

This is a governed, IT-led automation platform, not a tool for a founder building an app. Its no-code angle is that business users can design and run automations without extensive software development, while IT keeps control.

What you build and how

The unit of work is an orchestrated process: a chain of jobs, events and dependencies that runs across systems on a schedule or in response to events. The company's article on no-code workflow automation says the drag-and-drop interface lets organizations "design, automate and orchestrate complex business processes without extensive software development." The same article frames a SOAP as the next step beyond the built-in schedulers inside individual applications, and the homepage uses the line "Overcome the limits of built-in schedulers."

The homepage lists the kinds of process you can build:

  • End-to-end process automation across ERP, CRM and other enterprise applications.
  • Unified hybrid cloud automation, spanning on-premises and cloud systems, with legacy and modern technologies on one platform.
  • Orchestrated data pipelines, meaning automated ETL and event-driven data pipelines for business applications and analytics.
  • Integrated DevOps workflows, which coordinate service automation and application deployments through integration with CI/CD tools across development, test and release.
  • Secure, scalable managed file transfer, which moves, copies and monitors "millions of files per month" across systems, protocols and business partners.
  • Autonomous financial close, which automates record-to-report activities. The company says its Record to Report automation covers "up to 90% of financial R2R tasks across SAP finance solutions and other applications."
  • Agentic orchestration, which puts goal-driven AI agents alongside deterministic processes, using open standards.

The SAP coverage is detailed. The menu names SAP ERP, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA, where the platform can "run, intercept and monitor any background program, apply variants, and orchestrate with events." It also lists SAP Integration Suite and SAP Cloud Integration, plus an SAP Forecasting and Replenishment offering that orchestrates SAP and non-SAP systems to improve accuracy, reduce stockouts and align inventory with demand. Outside SAP, the page speaks of orchestrating "enterprise applications, from mainframe tools to modern AI technologies," and says a catalog of out-of-the-box connectors, wizards and extensions provides integration with your ecosystem. The company's article names Oracle alongside SAP, says the connector library lets businesses "connect to unlimited servers, applications and environments," and says RunMyJobs "supports over 25 scripting languages and interfaces" for teams that need to go beyond the drag-and-drop designer.

Business users are not shut out. A "Self-service without silos" feature gives non-technical business users "visibility and workflow orchestration via dashboards, forms and customizable user interfaces, all governed by IT teams." For operations, the page describes unified hybrid observability, with visibility across workflows, and an "agentless by design" architecture where you can connect applications and deploy orchestrations in seconds. Redwood RangerAI is the company's AI offering, described as helping accelerate development, improve troubleshooting and reduce skill gaps.

The solutions menu groups the platform by job: self-service automation, DevOps automation, monitoring, IT workload automation and data orchestration, alongside the SAP offerings. A "For the hybrid enterprise" block promises to "build and automate end-to-end processes across private, public and multi-cloud environments from a single platform." A "For the agentic enterprise" block describes integrating AI agents into workflows and exposing existing business logic to agentic automation "with complete control and visibility." The common thread is one orchestration layer that sits above the applications and coordinates them.

Delivery is as a "fully managed SaaS" platform. The homepage says "single-tenant cloud architecture offers zero-effort maintenance and 99.95% guaranteed uptime." The company's article adds that customer support is available 24/7.

Pricing, support and claims

The homepage claims Redwood is "the only orchestration solution that's part of the RISE with SAP reference architecture," with integrations to SAP Joule, Cloud ALM, Cloud ERP, BTP and BDC. A banner calls it "The only SAP Endorsed App and Premium certified orchestration platform." It also cites the Gartner Critical Capabilities for SOAP report, saying Redwood ranks "#1 in 4 Use Cases and tied for #1 in the 5th," and says it was positioned furthest in completeness of vision in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for the category "3x in a row."

Support is positioned as part of the product. Pages state "24×7 SEV-1 support, a dedicated Customer Success team and available professional services," plus "migration expertise" for moving from legacy schedulers to a SOAP.

One named customer quote appears, from Daniel Sivar, Technologist Basis and Security at American Water: "For the implementation, we did utilize Redwood's professional services, which was extremely helpful." A homepage banner also says "69% believe it's mission-critical, but just 10% prioritize adoption," and that automation "has cut costs by at least 25%."

The site publishes no prices. The company's article says "Redwood offers a no-obligation quote based on your custom configuration," and the site's buttons read "Get a Demo." Expect a sales process, a scoped deployment and professional services rather than a credit card signup. The footer links a Trust page and a Security page.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

Redwood suits a central IT or automation team in a large company that is already running SAP and has a pile of job schedulers, scripts and file transfers it wants under one governed roof. The "legacy schedulers" migration message, the managed SaaS delivery and the 99.95% uptime figure all point at that buyer. Finance teams can use the record-to-report automation, and the hybrid and DevOps features are aimed at IT operations. A team exploring agentic AI can use agentic orchestration to run agents next to rule-based processes.

It is a heavy tool for small jobs. A solo founder or a small team that wants an internal form or a quick app-to-app flow would face an enterprise sales cycle and a quoted price. RunMyJobs is about orchestration and scheduling, not building a user-facing app, a site or a store, so a team that wants a self-serve builder it can open today is not the buyer the site addresses.
