What it is
Forloop describes itself as "a vibe no-coding platform automating AI, webscraping, and data analytics workflows". Its tagline is "Collect. Prepare. Automate. External data in minutes." The company behind it is Loop Technologies AB. In the FAQ it calls Forloop "an easy-to-use data preparation and pipeline management AI tool for fast-growing data teams".
The reader it addresses is a data scientist who is "not comfortable with infrastructure setup and configuration". The company says it primarily targets "fast-growing AI startups and companies with ML-powered products". Analysts and developers are the second audience: the pricing menu says the pipeline editor and extractor are "for builders, devs, and analysts who want to design their own processes". The sector solutions are consumer brands, real estate and logistics.
What you build and how
The site frames the product in three steps, "from zero to production in three steps", and each step maps to a module.
Step one is collecting data. The Web Extractor is described as a way to "access and integrate external data by turning any website into an API". It extracts data from non-API sources such as websites, maps or third-party platforms, and it comes with pre-made integrations to databases, APIs and third-party data sources. The FAQ adds that you can build workflows that scrape websites and pull from public APIs, with weather data as the example.
Step two is preparing data. Forloop's data preparation module recommends how to clean, join and aggregate your data, following what the company calls established data science practice, so a scraped table does not have to be shaped by hand. In step three, the no-code pipeline builder uses "intelligent algorithms solving data quality issues" to get data into a model-ready format.
The No-code Pipeline Editor is where the building happens. The FAQ describes a drag-and-drop canvas where you connect any data source, whether a data warehouse, data storage or a drive, and create a pipeline for AI models. The pipeline page promises "from zero to working pipelines in minutes": you can upload ready-made pipelines or build your own. The stated goal is to design and build prototypes and "shift smoothly to production-grade processes possible to orchestrate in the cloud environment of your preference".
The code side is a real part of the product, which matters if you want an escape hatch. "Our approach: No-code and Python-first," says the home page. On the pipeline page, "every pipeline is both no-code and also written in python so that you can save, share and version using git". A GitHub connection panel appears in the screenshot, with fields for API key, user ID, permissions, always sync and require login. You can move between code, for flexibility, and no-code, for speed, and write your own Python scripts to use inside a pipeline. The examples given are AI models and data preparation functions, and the page shows a classification model function as a sample.
The solution pages explain what teams point it at. For consumer brands and FMCG, that is tracking promotional campaigns, product prices and competitors, monitoring the search rank position of your products on any website, and tracking when product visibility changes. For real estate it is a real-time overview of property price changes, alerts on new potential investments and integrating data flows into your systems. There is also a logistics page and one for data scientists. The Competitive Intelligence, Analytics, Insights and Dashboards product lets you "track your competitors, suppliers, and retailers" and react faster to market conditions, and it is priced separately as the Forloop Insights product, with a B2B focus.
Documentation covers the pipeline editor and extractor modules, with guides to use the tool with code, and an API. The company runs a blog with case studies, webinars and a Getting Started guide.
The evidence from the pages
The site publishes no prices. The menu separates two pricing tracks: one for the No-code Pipeline Editor and Web Extractor, and one for the Insights product. A customer testimonial refers to "a small subscription fee", and sign-up is described as "It's Free! No Credit Card required." The company offers a Book a Demo option and a free sign-up.
The home page says the product helps users "increase their KPIs even by a factor of 10" and gives three claims: "€50k / year" saved by making data consumers independent from data engineers, "120h / month / person" saved with increased productivity in the building process, and "+80%" on adapting faster, "depending on the use-case". It reports a rating of 4.9/5 from 117 reviews.
Availability needs care, because the pages describe two things. The home page says "Forloop is a desktop app that you can download & try locally. Currently, we support Windows & Mac. The cloud version will be released soon." The FAQ on the pipeline page says "the easiest way to start building pipelines is to try out our latest cloud version by signing up". Whichever applies when you visit, the stated way to start is a free sign-up, and the home page claims you can "get started in under a minute".
On privacy, the FAQ says "We are fully compliant with GDPR and don't have access to any of your inserted datasets", and "We don't sell, and will never sell, any data about you or your usage of our platform." It says only limited metadata is used to improve services, mainly the recommendation engine.
Customer comments come from named companies. Investown says the platform let it connect various real estate websites with its system and automate routine processes. Sharespace calls out ease of use with high privacy standards. AiCare says it cut 45% of the time needed to deploy its AI model to production. Syndicai says it built data pipelines for its clients' AI models 5x faster than with traditional approaches. The quotes also include candid notes. Syndicai adds "UI needs a lot of improvement but it works!", and a Saxo Bank manager says "UX definitely needs to be better, but I know that they are working on it!"
Who it suits and who it does not
Forloop suits a data scientist or small data team that needs outside data, such as competitor prices, listings or search rankings, and wants to get from a website to a clean, model-ready dataset without building scrapers and infrastructure first. It suits teams who like having Python available, since pipelines are versionable with git, and brand or real estate teams that want price and visibility monitoring.
It is less suited to an enterprise IT team looking for a governed platform for many builders, since the site speaks to data scientists and small data teams rather than to central IT. Customers themselves mention that the interface needs work, and the desktop app runs on Windows and Mac only. Finally, if your need is internal systems integration rather than external data collection, the emphasis on scraping and market data makes it a narrower fit than a general integration platform.
