What the product is

EasyMorph is a visual data automation tool for individuals and teams. Its home page calls it "a multi-purpose, 100% private data automation platform optimized for the ease of use" and pitches a "visual drag-n-drop data tool" with an "easy-to-use data engineering platform" behind it. It is written for 3 readers: Excel users who want to automate spreadsheet work, data analysts who prepare data for BI, and data engineers who need ETL pipelines and data quality. The site's copyright line reads EasyMorph Inc., 2014-2026. The company describes itself as a lean vendor that spends little on sales and marketing and reinvests most of its revenue in product development, which it gives as the reason for its pricing.

What you build and how

The core of the product is EasyMorph Desktop, which the site describes as the place to "design and run powerful data automation workflows". The editor works on tables. Actions, which the site also calls tools, transform a table step by step, and the company says this makes "a dense and structured workflow representation" where you can see the full result of any step instantly. It also says drag-and-drop data visualizations help you understand data at any step. The company advertises "350+ capabilities to transform data and automate workflows", and says it does not distinguish between ETL and automation: one multi-purpose workflow can prepare data and then do something with it.

Editing is reactive. After you change a step, the workflow recalculates in the background from the point of change rather than from the start, so you see the result immediately. Every step shows its full output, all unique values in any column, and profiling for each column with counts, nulls and a histogram. One click opens an Analysis View at any action, where you can filter rows by facets, build one-off charts and pivot tables, verify relationships with relational filtering, and create sandboxes for ad hoc exploration. The company also stresses its data type system: one column can mix data types, text length is unrestricted, and numbers are held as double-precision 128-bit fixed-point decimals, which it says avoids the rounding errors of floating-point math in financial calculations.

Each of the 3 readers gets a short list of jobs on the home page.

  • Excel users can automate repetitive spreadsheet and Excel work without coding, merge multiple spreadsheets or CSV files, clean messy spreadsheets, and send Excel reports by email on a schedule.
  • Data analysts can prepare data for BI reports and dashboards on a schedule, transform data into analysis-ready formats without scripts, process "millions of rows in seconds", and connect to 50+ systems and apps without coding.
  • Data engineers can build data pipelines with an ETL tool, provide clean data to business users, manage data quality end to end, deploy custom APIs without coding, and set up secure data ingestion from external apps and people.

Beyond file and database work, the site lists features that make this an automation product, not just a preparation tool. Task triggers start workflows on events such as a file changing or a cloud webhook arriving, and the scheduler runs them once, hourly, continuously, daily, weekly or monthly. Built-in actions copy, rename, delete, zip and unzip files, handle large uploads and downloads, make web (HTTP) requests, send and receive emails and save attachments, send prompts and files to AI models, send alerts to Teams, Slack or mobile devices, and create tickets in JIRA or ZenDesk. You can also build your own custom action. A file manager browses remote file services such as OneDrive, SharePoint or SFTP. A built-in issue tracker creates and assigns tasks and delegates decisions to humans. A visual merge profiler helps find merge errors such as duplicate rows or unmatched keys. Auto-documentation generates a human-readable workflow description in plain English, and the page adds "No AI used". Data virtualization builds dynamic views that retrieve, transform and combine data from multiple systems on the fly.

For more complex logic the site lists loops, subroutines, conditional IF/THEN branching, exceptions, error handling, a global key-value store and mutexes. Under all of it sits an in-memory engine that, the company says, compresses data on the fly, avoids disk I/O, runs highly parallelized and transforms data without decompressing it, so millions of rows can be handled on an average laptop.

The product line has more than one piece. EasyMorph Hub is described as an enterprise multi-purpose data engineering and collaboration platform. EasyMorph Explorer is a subset of Hub features that helps business users organize their data work. EasyMorph Gateway handles data ingestion and cloud-to-on-premises automation. CSViewer is a fast forever-free viewer for big data files. The home page also lists a data catalog for business users and multi-format data ingestion among the engineering features. Scheduling on the desktop comes from EasyMorph Launcher, a desktop scheduling utility the site says is included with EasyMorph Desktop at no extra cost.

On hosting, the site is direct: "100% self-hosted. No data, metadata, or telemetry sent to the cloud." There is no hosted app to publish to. The finished product is a workflow that produces a table, a report, a refreshed dataset or a custom API.

Plans, pricing and support

Pricing. A price table on the site lists EasyMorph Desktop at $900, with desktop scheduling included, and EasyMorph Server at $24,000. The FAQ on that page says billing is annual and that you decide each year whether and when to renew, with no multi-year contract. It also says "All EasyMorph licenses include unlimited automation workflow runs", so there is no extra fee for each successful run. A "forever free edition" of Desktop can be downloaded, and demos are booked through a form on the site.

Scale and credibility figures. The home page shows 4.8 next to 700+ organizations, 45+ countries and 350+ capabilities. The footer lists "SOC 2 Type 1". The pages name no individual customers.

Support. Help comes through a community forum, web help, tutorials and examples, a YouTube channel and a blog. The company says there is "a thriving online user community". It also offers demos on request, and new downloads get advice on getting started by email.

Platform note. The download form says "Note that EasyMorph is for Windows only."

Who it suits and who it does not

EasyMorph suits a person or small team that handles recurring data work: Excel-heavy finance or operations staff, BI analysts who prepare the same extracts every week, and data engineers who want a visual ETL tool they can hand to business colleagues. The unlimited runs, the included scheduler and the self-hosted approach make costs and data handling easy to predict, and the fixed-point number handling speaks directly to finance teams. A team that wants to keep data off third-party clouds will find the "no telemetry" statement relevant.

It is the wrong tool for building a customer-facing app, a website or a form that outsiders fill in. Its center of gravity is tables and data rather than connecting many SaaS products with a few clicks. The Windows-only note means Mac and Linux users need another route. A solo user will weigh $900 against the forever free edition, and a larger team running shared automation has to budget for Server at $24,000.
