What MagicForm is
MagicForm is an AI quiz maker. You give it a topic, a URL, a YouTube video, a PDF or an image, and it generates quiz questions you can edit and export. Its footer says it helps "you create quizzes using AI," and its pricing page calls it an "AI Quiz Maker." 2 readers are named by the pages: educators and students, who are the free and Pro audience, and businesses, which get a separate "MagicForm for Business" page about AI quiz funnels that turn visitors into leads. The company behind it is IndianAppGuy Tech Pvt Ltd, and the about page presents its founder, Sanskar, who also builds other apps such as MagicSlides.app and SheetAI.app.
What you build and how
From content to quiz. The homepage FAQ walks through the sources. For a PDF, "the AI turns it into multiple-choice quiz questions you can edit and export." For YouTube, "paste a YouTube link and MagicForm reads the transcript and generates quiz questions from the video content." For images, you can upload an image such as "a worksheet photo, a slide, a screenshot," and "the AI extracts the content and builds quiz questions from it." The pricing page lists "URL, YouTube & PDF to Quiz" on both plans, and the about page adds that you can create AI-powered quizzes "from any topic, YouTube URL, PDF, or text."
A chat assistant. The app includes an assistant named Maya that opens with "What quiz are we making today?" and offers starting prompts such as "Quiz on photosynthesis," "10 questions about World War 2" and "Science quiz for 8th grade." The app's menu lists AI Quiz, My Quizzes, Templates, Leads, Discover, Integrations, Settings and Billing, so the product covers a library of past quizzes, templates and a leads area beyond generation.
Editing and export. Generated quizzes are editable. The FAQ says "every quiz you generate can be exported to Google Forms in one click, with answer keys included," so a teacher can finish the quiz in Google's tools and share it with students or trainees. The business page's comparison table also lists export as PDF, DOCX and ZIP. The pricing page adds "Custom quiz branding" on Pro and "Access to all your past quizzes" on both plans, and it says the product "Supports 100+ languages."
Forms and lead funnels. MagicForm sits in the forms category through its business use. The page says "Turn visitors into leads with AI quiz funnels" and states "MagicForm generates entire quiz funnels with AI in seconds. No design skills needed." The comparison table credits it with personality quiz outcomes, built-in email capture, a shareable quiz link, quiz templates and "lead segmentation by result." One example on the page tags a respondent "Visionary" in Mailchimp, but the same table marks the Mailchimp and Kit integration as "Coming soon," so treat native email-tool sync as announced, not shipped. The page names coaches and consultants, who segment an audience by readiness or style, and course creators, who "route quiz takers to the exact course they should buy next."
Where it runs. Support pages carry guides for a Chrome extension, Google Forms and an app, plus Android and iOS guides. Licensing is tied to Google accounts: "We will find the account with the Gmail/G Suite ID specified in the purchase and upgrade it. No license key required!" A "user" is "one Google Account email address," and "you can use the license on any computer as long as you are signed in with the same email address."
Plans, limits and claims
The pricing page lists 2 plans.
- Free, $0 a month, "for students and casual users": 5 quizzes a month, 12,000 character input, up to 8 questions per quiz, URL, YouTube and PDF to quiz, access to past quizzes, 100+ languages. "No credit card required."
- Pro, "for educators and professionals": $89 billed yearly (the page shows the monthly equivalent next to it), with unlimited quizzes, 12,000 character input, up to 40 questions per quiz, URL, YouTube and PDF to quiz, custom quiz branding, access to past quizzes and 100+ languages. The yearly toggle says "Save ~18%," and PayPal is offered.
Figures on the business page differ from the pricing page. It says "2 quizzes free" and "No credit card required," and its comparison table lists MagicForm's pricing as "From $16/mo," against Interact at "$39-209/mo," Typeform at "$29-99/mo" and ChatGPT at "$20/mo." Those competitor numbers are MagicForm's own comparison, not figures confirmed with the vendors. Check the pricing page at sign-up for the current free limits and Pro price.
The business page claims "Quizzes convert at 40%" and are "10x better than forms," with an example of 3% for a contact form against 40% for a quiz. That is the company's marketing claim and the page gives no study behind it. The pricing page carries a "Trusted by top universities and companies" heading. On data, the site says "We do not look at or share our customers' data, and we only save essential info required to make the extension work." Support is by email at the address on the site, for "issues with installation, licensing, and usage," and it "does not include any customization or custom new features." The pages name no compliance certifications and no hosting regions.
Who it suits and who it does not
MagicForm fits a teacher or trainer who has source material, such as a lecture video, a PDF handout or a worksheet photo, and wants a quiz quickly, ending in Google Forms with an answer key. Pro at $89 a year is a low entry for an individual educator. It also fits a coach or course creator who wants a quick segmenting quiz.
The limits are plain. Free caps quizzes at 8 questions and 5 a month, and even Pro caps at 40 questions and 12,000 characters of input, which is a constraint for long source documents. It is a quiz generator more than a general builder: the pages describe no database, no custom workflow engine and no code access. Native Mailchimp and Kit sync is not live yet, and a team that needs deep integrations should confirm what exists today before building a funnel around it.
