What FlexiQuiz is

FlexiQuiz is an online test and quiz maker. Its homepage calls it a "Powerful online test and quiz maker" for creating, sending and analyzing tests, quizzes and assessments, and its navigation groups the product into a quiz maker, an LMS, live quizzes and an exam builder. It is written for 3 readers: teachers building tests for a class, businesses running training, onboarding and recruitment assessments, and individuals making social quizzes. The pages do not state where the company is based or when it was founded.

What you build and how

Creating a test. The homepage describes the first step as "Quickly create great looking tests using multiple question types and formatting options." You then publish: tests can go to a private group or open to everyone through "a single link and registration page." The site pairs this with auto-grading, which "will save you time and allow you to concentrate on what's important." For teachers it notes that the premium account allows media uploads and unlimited questions. Customization means adding your own branding with a school or company logo, and certificates are part of the product, with "Custom certificates" listed on the Premium plan.

Reaching respondents. The features page covers the ways a quiz gets in front of people. FlexiQuiz provides a unique URL for emails, websites or social pages. You can send email invitations from your account, "assign your quizzes to a group of users with Respondent portals," and "embed the quiz link on your site using HTML code." Access can be gated in 4 ways: "Password protection" asks for a passcode, "Registration" asks for details "such as name, student ID, class or location," "Access codes" let users into a live quiz, and "Self-registration" lets users sign themselves up for a respondent portal to reach your quizzes and courses. The "Sell" feature holds back quiz content "until payment is processed," and an "Ecommerce" integration adds a payment page. Quizzes "work well and look great on any device, from a large laptop to a mobile phone."

Automation. The site calls these time-saving tools: "Reminders" email respondents who have not submitted, "Email results" sends custom results on submission or later by hand, "Scheduler" sets the date and time content becomes available, and "Redirects" send learners to their next activity "based on their results or choices." This is how a quiz becomes a small learning flow rather than a single page. The Premium plan adds "Learning paths."

Forms. FlexiQuiz sits in the forms category through its registration step, which collects respondent details before a quiz starts, and through its API and webhooks that pass data into your own software. The pages do not describe a standalone survey or form designer, so treat the form side as the data collected around a quiz.

Analytics. Reporting covers participation and progress for business users, and the features page names 2 measures: "Track how much time users have spent on each question" and "View how many times a respondent has submitted your quiz."

Social and private quizzes. For individuals the homepage describes fun social quizzes you can post on a website, blog or social site, with advanced email options to send private quizzes to friends and a review feature that lets them look back at their answers once they finish. For businesses it describes reporting that tracks staff participation and progress.

Teams and integrations. For teams, the site says FlexiQuiz "allows you to work independently or share data so that you can easily team up with others," with extra team accounts and settings so "everyone can securely access the right information." Integration options listed are SMTP, which sends emails from your organization's address, "API and webhooks," and ecommerce payments. The Enterprise plan lists single sign-on, custom CSS and white label emails. For security, the homepage says FlexiQuiz "implements SSL encryption and offers public and private options."

Plans, limits and claims

The Plans page lists these tiers:

  • Free. "Up to 20 responses a month," no credit card needed. The page says it lets you try "our most popular features" and make, share and analyze quizzes.
  • Essentials. Described as "Great for educators to start making professional quizzes and courses." The Premium plan is labeled "all essentials features +". The Plans page gives no Essentials price or response limit in its text.
  • Premium. $25 a month, $300 billed yearly. It lists 2,000 responses a month, 2 Administrators or Trainers, learning paths, selling quizzes, tests or courses, custom certificates, embedding of quizzes and respondent portals, custom email notifications and self-registration. The page calls it "Great for small teams and entrepreneurs."
  • Enterprise. $60 a month, $720 billed yearly. It lists 25,000 responses a month, 15 Administrators or Trainers, white label emails, 100 custom groups, APIs and webhooks, single sign-on, custom CSS and priority support 24/7. The page calls it "Great for organizations to support training at scale."
  • Enterprise+. A plan "tailored to any number of users" with additional add-ons.

Paying yearly saves "more than 25%," which the page equates to "more than 3 months free." Cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discovery, Diners Club, Union Pay and Carte Bleue, and PayPal works for any plan. For purchases over $300 and an additional $50 fee, an invoice payable by bank transfer or check can be issued. Upgrades are "applied to accounts instantly."

The homepage makes scale claims in the company's own words: "50m+ tests taken," "100+ countries around the world" and "3m+ questions." The pages name no compliance certifications and no hosting regions.

Who it suits and who it does not

FlexiQuiz suits a teacher who wants tests graded automatically, a trainer who needs scheduled, reminded and certified assessments, and a small business that wants to sell a course behind a payment page. The free plan is a real trial ground, though at 20 responses a month it covers a classroom demo rather than a live course. The Premium limits of 2,000 responses and 2 administrators fit a small team, and the jump to Enterprise adds the response volume, groups, single sign-on and API access that larger training programs ask for. Notably, API and webhooks sit on the Enterprise tier.

It is not a general form or survey builder, and the pages describe no free-form app building, database or workflow engine beyond quiz automations. Anyone who needs the API on a small budget will find it only in the $60 plan, and the Plans page text gives no Essentials details, so confirm them before planning around that tier.
