AITable.ai is a visual database that looks like a spreadsheet and works like a database, aimed at individuals, small teams and businesses who want to organize records, collect data through forms and automate the follow-up without writing code. The footer credits the product to APITable Ltd.
What you build and how
The editor is the "database-spreadsheet interface" the site keeps returning to: you create tables (the product calls them datasheets) and fill them with records. The home page describes the product as a tool to "Organize Any Data with AI" for personal and enterprise CRM, project management and productivity, and its feature list names customizable forms, automation, "workdoc" and "buttons fields."
Because everything in the left-hand directory is a "file node," a workspace is more than tables. The pricing page explains that file nodes are "items in the left-side directory tree of your workspace, such as datasheets, forms, dashboards, etc.," and that creating a new datasheet plus a new form adds 2 file nodes to your count. In practice you build a small system out of linked pieces: a datasheet for the records, a form that feeds it, a dashboard that summarizes it.
Views are the way you look at the same records differently. The plan comparison lists Gallery, Kanban, Architecture, Gantt and Calendar views alongside the grid, plus Form, Mirror (labeled "records permission"), Widget and Dashboard. A project can be a Kanban board for status, a Gantt chart for dates and a Calendar for deadlines, all fed by one set of records.
Forms are positioned as a data-entry and lead-management tool: "one-click form creation instantly generates and integrates forms into websites, streamlining data entry and lead management." Submissions land in your table, so a website contact form and a sales pipeline are the same data.
Automation is where the integrations come in. The site says you can "Streamline repetitive tasks with tailored automations like Slack messages and emails on form submissions," and that the product "Integrate[s] with Zapier, Make, Pabbly, Activepieces, albato to connect 6000+ apps, enabling code-free automation and efficiency." The headline of the home page, "Automate Data across 6,000+ Apps," rests on those connectors. The count is the company's claim about what the automation services it names reach. The footer's integration list adds Bika.ai, viaSocket and Buda AI to Zapier, Make, Pabbly and Activepieces. The pricing table also has Automation as its own row, and an API section with rows for API requests, API QPS and a Contacts API, so developers who want to go past the connectors have an API to work with.
Collaboration and control get a long list on the pricing page: field permissions, file permissions, a Space admin role, Space log, and a set of switches that disable data export, opening public links, copying data, downloading attachments, inviting people from outside the Space, applying to join the Space, and modifying the root of the catalog, plus a watermark and an option to hide other teams in Contacts. A "Space" is "a collaboration platform for all members of your organization or team," and you switch between the Spaces you manage or are invited to from the upper left of the workbench. Record activity, Snapshot and Trash appear as separate rows, which covers history and recovery.
Custom embedding and Rainbow tags also appear in the plan table, and the footer tagline reads "Build Your AI Apps with Table in 1-Click."
AI runs through several parts of the product, according to the home page. A Business Intelligence Copilot lets you chat with your database and knowledge base and turn the answers into charts. A workflow generator lets you describe goals or tasks and have AI draft checklists, project sprints, SOPs, templates and low-code apps, shown as lists, boards, tables, calendars or mind maps. An AI writing assistant produces copy for emails, ads, websites, listings and blogs. And a custom ChatGPT builder creates an AI customer service agent or sales chatbot for your website from your own data, to handle support, generate leads and talk to users. The home page's form section adds that you can customize pre-filled contents for channel tracking and analysis.
AI is sold through a credit system. The pricing page says "message credits can be used for chatbot queries," and lists an AI Agent row. A query using the default gpt-3.5-turbo costs 1 message credit, a response using gpt-4 costs 20 message credits, and training on 300,000 characters costs 1 credit. You can change the chatbot's model in its settings. The company adds that "AITable's AI features pricing is still in the testing phase, and may change in the future based on the rules of other companies like OpenAI," so those credit costs are the current terms, not a long-term promise.
What the pages state
Plans. The pricing page is organized in 3 groups, "For individual and small teams," "For businesses and enterprises" and "Self-Hosted," with a monthly and annual toggle and a "Compare plans and features" table. Its headline is "Unlimited Efficiency with 'Unlimited Seats'." The comparison table names the limits it meters, file nodes, records per datasheet, records per space, columns per datasheet and attachment storage per space, but the page text carries no plan names or dollar prices. Different plans come with different initial message credit allowances.
Free start. The home page repeats "Get Started. It's FREE," offers a free video demo, and says "We're in private beta now. Join us and be the first to adopt AITable for free." The pricing page's main button is a free sign-up, and a Contact Sales button sits beside it for larger teams.
Self-hosting. A Self-Hosted tab exists on the pricing page, and the site links to a GitHub repository and a Developers section.
Company claims. The home page says "10,000+ GitHub stars showcasing developer endorsement," "10,000+ customers have chosen to trust us" and "$10M+ raised." These are the company's own figures.
Support. Help comes from a help center, a Discord community, status page, and an email address, support@aitable.ai. Downgrading or unsubscribing goes through support: "send us a message or contact us." There is also a Nonprofits page and a Partners page.
Reviews. The site quotes user reviews. David K., a CEO, says "It helps us with projects, CRM, OKR tracking and so on," and adds that "We just need more native integrations and implement more AI." Cj, a CEO in the US, calls it "the easiest tool to have while at work." Brianna Lopez, an architecture intern and student, calls the design "clean, straightforward, and user-friendly," and a verified purchaser writing as zxx calls it "truly a top level product, ready to use for enterprise users."
Who it suits and who it does not
AITable suits a solo founder, a freelancer or a small team who wants a table-based CRM, project tracker or OKR sheet with forms and notifications, and who is comfortable wiring automations through Zapier, Make or a similar service. A business with stricter access needs will find a long list of permission switches, and one that wants to run the software itself has a Self-Hosted option to look at.
The caveats are real. The headline automation story depends on third-party services, so each automation lives partly outside the product. One of the site's own testimonials asks for more native integrations and more AI. The AI pricing is described as still in testing.
