What it is
Polytomic is a data movement platform. Its homepage describes "bidirectional ETL and data syncing": ETL, ELT, CDC streaming, Reverse ETL and general data syncs in one platform. It serves 2 readers at once. Data teams get full SQL support, first-class infrastructure-as-code and unified monitoring. RevOps and marketing teams get a no-code UI to set up syncs of product data into their CRM and ad platforms on their own. The copyright line reads Polytomic Inc.
What you build and how
What you build here is a pipeline, not an app. A sync takes data from a source and delivers it to a destination, and the finished result is a CRM, ad account, spreadsheet or warehouse table that stays current. The site says you can move data between data warehouses, databases, cloud applications, general storage, spreadsheets and HTTP APIs. Its feature summary lists "ETL, Reverse ETL, CDC, iPaaS, APIs, and spreadsheets" as the things one platform covers, with the aim of replacing multiple vendors.
The editing model has 2 modes. The first is point and click: "Select and filter your data without writing code." That is the mode the company describes for RevOps and marketing users. The second is code. The site lists SQL query support for "powerful transformations when you need them", and an infrastructure-as-code option that lets you run Polytomic with Terraform or code. The company's comparison copy frames the benefit as moving data to and from warehouses, databases, CRMs, finance applications, marketing tools and APIs without managing brittle pipelines or multiple vendors. A "pull from any API" feature is pitched as an end to glue code for custom integrations.
Sync behavior is described in a few specific ways. Polytomic syncs only what has changed, which the company says saves on API limits and compute costs. CDC streaming appears in the platform description alongside batch-style ETL and ELT. Two-way integrations are described as available out of the box, so data can move from a warehouse into a business tool and from a business tool back.
The homepage names these integrations as examples: Snowflake, Salesforce, BigQuery, Marketo, Stripe, Databricks, NetSuite, Google Sheets, HubSpot, Google Ads, Amazon S3, Facebook Ads, Amazon Athena, LinkedIn Ads and Airtable, "and many more." The text says Polytomic syncs proprietary data from databases, data warehouses and spreadsheets to the business systems you use. If your connector is missing, the page states that "your integration requests built in days."
On workflow automation, Polytomic is a data-flow product. Syncs and streaming move records between systems without an operator, and there is a use-case structure for Data Teams, RevOps, Marketing and Support. But the pages show no multi-step flow canvas, approvals or human tasks, so it automates movement of data rather than business processes. A reader who arrived from the workflow-automation page should treat it as the plumbing that keeps tools in step: a warehouse table feeding a CRM, a spreadsheet feeding an ad platform, an API feeding a database. The homepage also pairs "no-code and code" in one product, so the same sync can start as a point-and-click job for an ops person and later be owned by an engineer working in Terraform.
Publishing and hosting are unusual for this category. Polytomic can be self-hosted, and the site describes a turnkey deployment to your private cloud. It also describes multi-tenant workspaces with fine-grained access controls, which matter if you run syncs for several teams or customers. The enterprise paragraph names a "self-hosted deployment option, RBAC permissions, audit log, no-code and code." The Enterprise tier, described below, adds on-prem deployment and single sign-on. For a data team, the attraction the company names is a single ETL platform with unified monitoring that centralizes all data movement, so loads into the warehouse and syncs back out to business tools are watched in one place rather than across several vendors' dashboards.
What the site states
The homepage says Polytomic handles billions of rows reliably and is built for enterprise scale. On security it says "SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA compliant", with a true RBAC fine-grained permissions engine and an audit log. A Security page and a vulnerability disclosure page appear in the footer. These compliance claims are the company's own.
For support, the site promises "fanatical customer support" with replies "to your messages in under a minute." A quote from Jonathan Krangel, Director of Revenue Operations at Retool, reads "Polytomic's customer support has been unbelievably great" and ends "More than just support, we feel we have a thought partner." The footer also points to Documentation, a Blog and Case studies, and the homepage says it is trusted by high-growth companies without naming any in the text. Badges on the page read Best Support, Best Meets Requirements and High Performer, all marked Winter 2025, without naming the awarding body.
Pricing is stated on the company's Integrate.io alternatives page: "Pricing begins at $500/month." That page outlines 2 tiers above a Basic plan. Standard includes everything in Basic plus syncs to and from databases, warehouses, spreadsheets, apps and APIs, unlimited users and connections, multiple sync destinations and live chat support with engineers. Enterprise includes everything in Standard plus on-prem deployment, single sign-on (SSO), a dedicated engineer and phone support. Calls to action are Book demo or Start free trial, and the homepage says "See a live demo or try free for 14 days." What it offers is a 14-day trial rather than a standing free plan.
Who it suits and who it does not
Polytomic suits a data team that wants one tool for warehouse loads and Reverse ETL, with SQL, Terraform and monitoring behind it, and an ops or marketing team that wants to sync product data into a CRM or ad platform without waiting for engineering. It also suits a company that must keep data inside its own cloud, since self-hosting is stated plainly. A regulated buyer has the company's stated SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance to start from, and an Enterprise tier with SSO and on-prem deployment.
It suits a solo founder building a first product less. There is nothing here that builds an interface, a form or a site, and the demo-led buying path points at teams with budgets. Pricing begins at $500 a month, which is a team budget rather than a side-project one. And if you want visual multi-step business automation with approvals, you will pair it with a different tool.
