What Heeya is
Heeya is a no-code AI chatbot builder for businesses that want a virtual assistant on their website answering customer questions around the clock. The site is written in French, with an English version, and describes the product as "100% français & RGPD" (100% French and GDPR compliant). It is aimed at small and mid-sized businesses (online shops, service companies, software vendors, HR teams, training organizations) rather than at developers. The site introduces its founder, Anas, directly in a chat prompt, and the blog is signed Anas R., so this is a small, founder-run product rather than an enterprise platform. The homepage headline promises a customer service that is "disponible 24 h/24" (available around the clock) and a chatbot built "sans code" (without code).
What you build and how
Heeya builds one kind of thing, a knowledge-grounded chatbot, and it keeps the process short. The homepage lays it out in 3 steps. First, you add what your company knows: your website, your documents, your usual answers. The site's own line is "Vous donnez à Heeya les connaissances de votre entreprise" (you give Heeya your company's knowledge). Second, you give the chatbot a place on your site: you choose its colors and copy a snippet of code, shown on the page as <script heeya />, into your pages. Third, the chatbot answers common questions on its own, you read back the conversations, and you add to its knowledge as you learn what visitors actually ask.
The FAQ fills in the details. Creating a chatbot takes "moins de 10 minutes" (under 10 minutes): you create the agent, import documents or URLs, set its tone and instructions, then paste a short piece of code into your site, with no technical skills required. Heeya accepts PDF, DOCX, PPTX and TXT files and can import web pages by URL, then analyzes and indexes them automatically to build the agent's knowledge base.
The technology behind it is retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). In practice the chatbot answers from the documents you supplied rather than from whatever a language model happens to know. The FAQ is candid about the limit of that approach. It says the risk of invented answers is "très faible" (very low) because the chatbot relies exclusively on the documents you provide, then adds that with AI "le zéro erreur absolu n'existe pas", absolute zero error does not exist. When the answer is not in your knowledge base, the agent says so honestly and can offer to connect the visitor with a human. The widget itself carries a small disclaimer, "Je suis une IA, mais pas sans faille !" (I am an AI, but not flawless).
Design control is handled in a customization panel. You upload a logo (PNG, JPG or WebP), which is optimized and shown at the top of the chat, pick the color of the launcher bubble and of the open chat window from a ready palette or by exact color code, and watch a live preview that the site says matches what visitors will see.
Beyond answering, the paid plans add what Heeya calls AI tools: appointment requests, lead capture and a contact form, plus an e-commerce product preview on the Premium plan. That is how the solution pages for appointment booking and lead generation connect to the product. The homepage shows the product through 3 business situations, each with a demo link. For e-commerce, the chatbot handles the hesitations that come before a purchase: products, delivery, return conditions. For service businesses, it covers offerings, areas served and quote requests, so prospects get answers without interrupting your day. For software and apps, it makes your documentation reachable at the moment a user needs it, covering getting started, settings and features. A separate block speaks to HR teams who want to make internal procedures such as leave and onboarding answerable from their documents.
Heeya also publishes solution pages by sector: real estate, human resources and training, plus pages for a hair salon, a dentist, a restaurant, an auto repair shop and a law firm. These show what to put in the knowledge base for each trade and who the company expects to sign up.
The dashboard side includes conversation history and, according to the homepage, analysis of the most requested topics so you can adjust your content or offers. The site also runs a blog, a set of free tools and guides, an affiliate program, and a demo request form (name, email, company, message) for buyers who want to talk to someone first.
What the site states
Pricing is printed on the homepage, with the note that offers are "sans engagement" (no commitment):
- Gratuit, 0€ a month: 1 AI agent, 30 messages a month, 20 000 AI characters, web integration.
- Standard, 19€ a month, marked most popular: 1 AI agent, 500 messages a month, 1M AI characters, 1 AI tool included (appointments, leads and so on) and an admin interface.
- Premium, 99€ a month: 3 AI agents, 2 500 messages a month, 3M AI characters, all AI tools included (contact form, lead capture, appointment requests) and e-commerce product preview.
- Enterprise, on quote: unlimited volume and agents, automatic knowledge-base updates (daily or weekly), custom development and integrations, a guaranteed SLA and dedicated priority support.
The FAQ sums it up as "un abonnement gratuit pour démarrer, puis des plans payants à partir de 19€/mois" (a free plan to start, then paid plans from 19€ a month). The demo chat on the homepage repeats the free offer as 1 chatbot and 30 messages a month.
On data, the FAQ says Heeya is a French solution that complies with GDPR, that data is hosted in Europe, and that no personal data is used to train third-party models. The security block lists encryption of all data, strict GDPR compliance and "Sécurité Garantie", described as an advanced protection system with continuous monitoring.
Results claims are clearly marked as the company's own. The homepage says the AI resolves "jusqu'à 80% des demandes récurrentes" (up to 80% of recurring requests), claims savings of up to 60% on communication costs, and shows tiles of +40% conversion rate and -70% response time, with a footnote saying these are averages from Heeya's internal data. It also says the chatbot can handle thousands of simultaneous conversations. The homepage lists "Support 24/7".
Testimonials come from 4 small French businesses: Tortuga Outdoor, CNTL Digital, Quoai.fr and Raynier Plomberie. Tortuga Outdoor calls the integration remarkably simple, CNTL Digital uses it to qualify leads, and Raynier Plomberie says it saves time the team used to spend on the phone with simple questions.
Who it suits and who it does not
Heeya fits a founder or small team whose customers ask the same questions over and over and whose answers already exist in a website, a help center or a set of PDFs. A shop owner, a plumber, a clinic, a law firm or a small software company can get a grounded assistant live quickly without a developer, and the free plan lets you test it before paying 19€ a month. French-speaking teams get a French-language product, and teams with GDPR concerns get European hosting stated plainly.
It suits less well a team that wants to design branching conversation flows or run the bot across many messaging channels: what the site describes is a website widget fed by your documents, with a few AI tools for leads and appointments, and custom integrations sit in the Enterprise plan. The answer quality also depends on your content. If the knowledge base is thin or out of date, the chatbot will say it does not know, which is honest but not helpful to the visitor. The message caps are tight on the lower plans, so a busy site should size its plan against real traffic.
