What We.Inc is

We.Inc is an AI website and app builder for founders, freelancers and small businesses who want to describe a site in chat and get something live, and for agencies that want to resell the same builder under their own brand. The company's FAQ puts the difference from site builders like Wix or from Lovable in one line: "We.Inc combines a conversational AI builder with a real code editor and full code ownership." You describe what you want, get a working site or app in your browser, refine it visually or in code, and export it whenever you want. The site does not state where the company is based.

What you build and how

The editor. The company describes chat-to-build: you describe a site or web app and "advanced AI models generate a live, editable site or web app in your browser." One comparison page names Claude models specifically. From there you have two ways to refine. Click-to-edit lets you change the page visually, and a full code editor, named as Monaco on the comparison pages, lets you change the source directly. You can begin from a blank project or from a professionally designed template. Starting from a template does not consume AI credits, so you can explore designs freely and then customize them with AI, visual editing or code. The site gives no template count.

Websites. The core use is publishing a site fast. The FAQ says you can publish instantly to a free we.inc subdomain, or connect a custom domain you own with free SSL included. The company's comparison pages list the same pair of advantages: instant publishing with free SSL on a we.inc subdomain or custom domain. They also list white-label resale for agencies and the export option below.

Stores. For selling, the FAQ says "You can build a store for physical products, digital goods, or services." Payments run through your own Stripe account using Stripe Connect, so money goes directly to you. The same answer for agencies adds that they can bill clients through their own Stripe and that the company takes 0% of what clients pay. The company also lists its own limit here: its comparison pages call the e-commerce features "still expanding", so a shop with unusual catalog, tax or fulfillment needs is worth testing first. The site names no shipping, tax or inventory features, and no payment provider besides Stripe.

Code ownership. The FAQ says you own the code generated. "Your project is standard React, Vite, TypeScript, and Tailwind, and you can export it to GitHub at any time. There is no lock-in." This is the product's main design choice, and it is what separates it from a hosted builder where the site only exists on the vendor's servers. The comparison pages repeat it as "Export the full React/Vite/TypeScript/Tailwind code to GitHub, no lock-in".

For agencies and resellers. The FAQ says agencies can launch their own branded AI website builder in under 5 minutes, free to start with no card, put it on their own domain, build client sites and bill clients through their own Stripe. One comparison page describes the white-label plan as starting at $99 a month for 25 client sites, with a 7-day free trial and no per-site fees, and mentions a branded client dashboard. Another comparison page says white-label plans are custom priced, so confirm current terms before budgeting. The product menu also lists an Enterprise offer with SSO, custom SLAs and dedicated support, and a Developer API for embedding site generation into a SaaS product. The audiences the site lists include agencies, freelancers, hosting providers, SaaS platforms, startups, financial services and healthcare.

Migration. The company's comparison pages say most alternatives, including We.Inc, offer import tools and migration help, and that moving usually takes a few hours to a few days depending on how complicated your setup is. That is the company's claim about itself and its competitors, not a measured result.

How the company positions it. Much of the company's site is a set of comparison pages written against other builders, including alternatives pages for Simvoly, Strikingly, Kartra, Tilda and Webnode, and one of them states plainly "We.Inc is our own product." Each lists the same "Best for" line, "Anyone who wants to build a website or web app by describing it, then refine it visually or in code", and the same pros. Those pages are marketing from the vendor, so their verdicts on competitors are its own opinion. They are still useful for one thing: they show which job the company wants the product judged on, which is describe-then-refine, with code ownership as the exit.

Plans and pricing the site states

The FAQ answers "How much does it cost?" directly. There is a Free plan at $0 per month that lets you build up to 3 sites from templates, with no AI credit edits. Paid plans are Starter at $20 per month, Pro at $50 per month and Max at $99 per month, and "Credits are consumed by AI generation." The pages do not say how many credits each plan includes, so the cost of heavy iteration cannot be worked out in advance. The comparison pages use slightly different wording about the free tier: one says 3 template sites with no AI, another says a free plan that includes the AI builder with a live preview. Read the pricing page itself before you rely on either description.

Who it suits

A solo founder or freelancer who wants a site or small web app quickly, and who wants to keep the React code afterward, fits well. The free plan lets you try templates without a card, and the Starter plan at $20 a month is where AI generation begins. A developer gets a real escape hatch, because the project is plain React, Vite, TypeScript and Tailwind in a GitHub repository, with a code editor inside the builder. An agency can turn the same product into a branded builder for clients, with the company stating a 0% cut of what clients pay through Stripe.

The caveats come from the company's own comparison pages: it is a newer platform with a growing template library, and its advanced e-commerce features are still expanding. If you need a deep marketplace of third-party apps, a long list of named integrations or a large library of ready-made themes, the site does not claim them. Teams in regulated sectors should note the site names no SOC 2, GDPR or HIPAA claim beyond the enterprise SSO and SLA offer.
