Lovable
Tap a star to rate
Lovable takes a plain-language description, “a habit tracker with a streak counter and a weekly summary email”, and generates a real React and Supabase-backed app, complete with a database, authentication, and a working UI, that you can then refine with more prompts or by editing the code directly. Chat-based iteration means fixing a bug or adding a feature is often just describing the change rather than hunting through a settings panel.
Pricing runs on message or credit-based tiers, since each prompt consumes generation capacity, so an app built through hundreds of iterative back-and-forth edits costs more than one nailed in a handful of prompts. The generated codebase is real React code you can export and take to GitHub, which gives Lovable a genuine advantage on lock-in over closed drag-and-drop builders, even though the visual editing experience is thinner than something like Bubble’s. The ceiling shows up once an app needs precise custom design or complex business logic beyond what a prompt reliably describes, and AI-generated code sometimes needs a developer’s cleanup pass to be production-ready. It fits founders and product people who want a working prototype or MVP fast and are comfortable handing a real codebase to a developer once it’s time to harden it.
