What QuantumByte is
QuantumByte is an AI app builder for people who run a business rather than write software. Instead of dragging blocks or writing a spec, you talk to an AI about your service, and it designs and builds the app for you. The home page headline is "Build your own AI tools to help your business", and the pitch is aimed at business owners, operations teams and founders: "Describe your service in plain language. No specs. No code. QB turns business intent into a working app." The FAQ places the product in "the SMB and mid-market service operator tier". The site pairs the AI with a human engineering team that steps in when an app outgrows what the AI can do alone, and it frames the result as a running service rather than a tool you have to learn: "The app is the surface; the service is what runs."
What you build and how
The core of the product is a conversation. The home page says the AI asks about your business, how you take orders, who does what and what is slowing you down, then "designs and builds your app on the spot." Its footnote is blunt about the division of labor: "You don't need to know what to build. That's our job." The FAQ adds that if you do not know what you need, the AI asks guiding questions about your workflow to clarify your pain points and suggests the right tool before building it. Elsewhere the page describes the builder as "Our team of AI agents", and the paid plans name the AI partner you work with as Bear: you ask Bear to create screens, edit copy, change logic and fix issues, and you can keep asking it to improve the app.
The home page offers 3 starting prompts as inspiration, each tied to a use case. An e-commerce store owner wants an AI to automate daily sales and inventory reports (Reporting Automation). A logistics fleet operator wants to track delivery times and operational bottlenecks (Operations Control). A legal clinic wants help managing client documents and summarizing case files (Case Management). These show the intended shape of a QuantumByte app: an internal tool built around one business process.
The apps are meant to act, not only to display records. Under the heading "Real apps. Not templates" the page says an app "rearranges your delivery schedule when orders pile up," "scores your leads and drafts the follow-up," and "flags the invoice that's about to be late," and adds "This isn't a spreadsheet with a pretty face. It's an AI that works for you." A testimonial on the home page reads "QB asked questions about my workflow that I hadn't even considered. The app it built was smarter than what I would have asked for.", attributed to Maria, Bakery owner, Austin.
The site describes a staged path from idea to production. You get a working prototype in 15 minutes for $6, test it with your team, tweak it with the AI, and go live when it feels right. Going live is described as one click: "Go from conversation to a deployed app in 90 seconds. No engineers. No hosting setup. No scaling headaches." The home page also gives "<10m avg build time". The FAQ says the $6 plan gets you a fully functional prototype with priority AI access that you can start using internally, and that you only need to upgrade when you are ready to scale or need a custom domain. On the Go Live plan QuantumByte hosts the app, gives it a real link or domain, and keeps version history with rollback, so changes made by talking to the AI can be undone.
For anything the AI cannot finish, the product offers expert backup, which the site calls Fast Track. The home page says most people never need the team, but if an app needs custom design, complex workflows or enterprise-grade logic, the team steps in: "Same platform. No handoff drama." The FAQ puts it this way: when the AI hits an edge case, engineers finish the job inside your live app, billed at $130 per Story Point, and you pay only for what you use. A separate expert-led option pairs you with a QuantumByte expert who builds the app for you "start to finish".
For teams that need connections to other systems, the Enterprise plan lists custom integrations and API access. The company's article on writing prompts for AI builders describes QuantumByte as built for "AI-first prototyping, then an in-house team to push the app across the finish line", and says it turns an idea into structured documentation that an AI can use to generate an app. A second article, on white-label apps, says platforms like QuantumByte let you describe white-label requirements in natural language and generate the multi-tenant architecture automatically.
Plans, prices and support
The pricing section is titled "Build Your App Free, Upgrade as Needed", with a toggle between Monthly and Annual billing that saves 17% on annual.
- Free, $0. Create and preview your first app draft before you pay. It includes 1 AI app, the AI partner (Bear Team), a QB subdomain, basic analytics and community support. No card is needed.
- Build an App, $6 a month, shown against a struck-through $10 with "Save 40 %". It runs on monthly credits: you pick a monthly size and can top up at any time, and the page says top-ups never expire. This is the plan for building and validating a first working app.
- Go Live, $29 a month, marked Most Popular and shown against a struck-through $82 with "Save 65 %". It puts the app online for real users. The page says all sizes include a server, a custom domain and priority support, and it adds advanced analytics, priority support with a response time under 4 hours, and version history with rollback.
- Enterprise, Custom. Everything in Go Live plus Fast Track human engineers included, custom integrations and API access, SSO, audit logs and compliance, and an SLA with a dedicated success manager, sold through Contact Sales.
Under the table the page adds "Unlimited collaborators on every plan", "Cancel anytime" and that you can set a spending cap "so you never get surprise-billed." Fast Track work outside Enterprise is billed at $130 per Story Point.
On scale, the site claims 5,000+ businesses and says business owners across countries use QuantumByte. On support, the FAQ says the company offers dedicated support and flexible limits and that the team is directly reachable if you need more computing power or hit a wall; support@quantumbyte.ai is listed in the footer. On security, the FAQ answers "Is my data safe?" by saying the company follows strict industry-standard security protocols so that your data and app logic are isolated and protected. SSO, audit logs and compliance are listed only on the Enterprise plan.
Who it suits and who it does not
The strongest fit is a service business owner, a small operations team or a founder who can explain how work flows through the company but has no engineers. A bakery, a delivery fleet, an online store that wants daily reports, a legal clinic managing case files, a sales team that wants lead scoring or a back office chasing late invoices all match the examples on the site. The Free plan lets you see a first draft at no cost, the $6 tier lets you use a prototype internally, and the $29 tier is where a custom domain and a hosted app for real users begin.
It is a weaker fit if you want to own and run the code yourself or pick your own stack, because the pages describe a hosted service built through conversation rather than a code project you take away. Fast Track work priced by the Story Point is hard to estimate before the work is scoped. Integrations and API access sit on the Enterprise plan, so a small team that needs its app wired into other systems will be talking to sales early.
