What Ideavo is

Ideavo is a free AI-powered full-stack app builder and no-code tool for creating production-ready applications by chatting with AI. The company says it is used by founders, product managers, non-technical builders, agencies and developers. The unusual part is the business model: Ideavo does not resell AI usage. You bring your own AI subscription or API key, and the platform itself costs nothing on the free plan. Alongside the self-serve product, the company sells Agent+, a human-plus-AI engineering service, so the same site covers both building it yourself and paying a team to build it.

What you build and how

The editor is a chat. You describe what you want, the AI generates the app, and you keep refining it by asking for changes. The company says you can build websites, mobile apps, internal tools, MVPs, dashboards, games and virtually any type of application, and that generated apps can include frontend, backend, integrations and deployment. Its solutions page splits the product into 8 entry points:

  • AI App Builder for web apps, internal tools, dashboards, MVPs and mobile interfaces.
  • Free AI Web Builder for responsive websites and web experiences.
  • Vibe Coding Platform for turning described ideas into full-stack apps.
  • Prompt to App, which turns a plain-language prompt into a working app.
  • Free No-Code Platform for websites and apps without writing code, with code export when you want it.
  • Landing Page Builder, where AI shapes the layout, copy and interactions, and you refine and export your code.
  • Full-Stack AI App Builder for app interfaces and backend workflows.
  • Mobile App Builder for designing mobile app interfaces and product flows by chatting, refining screens, interactions and code.

That last pair matters for readers arriving from the landing-page and mobile-app categories. For landing pages, the pitch is a page generated from a simple idea and then edited in conversation. For mobile, the wording is about interfaces, screens and product flows, so it reads as a way to design and build the front end of a mobile app rather than a store-publishing pipeline. The pages do not describe app-store publishing.

The data layer is not a built-in spreadsheet or table editor. The pages say generated apps can include a backend and integrations, and they do not name a database. The model layer is where Ideavo is most specific. You can connect an existing API key or subscription from OpenAI, OpenCode, a Kimi coding plan, OpenRouter or any provider, and the company says this gives bring-your-own-key flexibility and no model markup. It adds that many third-party providers offer free-tier models, so connecting OpenCode Zen or OpenRouter lets you use several models at no cost while building.

Beyond the chat, the homepage describes the surrounding workflow. You can import an existing codebase, export to GitHub, deploy on Vercel and add custom domains. Teams can invite teammates, share sessions and build together in real time, with everyone seeing every change live. For heavier work, the platform describes parallel agents, MCP servers you can connect on the fly, reusable skills and custom multi-step workflows. The company positions Ideavo as an alternative to Lovable, Bolt.new, v0.dev, Replit and Emergent, citing no vendor lock-in, bring-your-own-key support, code export and the ability to connect LLMs from any provider.

The evidence from the pages

Pricing is published on 2 levels. The self-serve product has two plans:

  • Free, at $0, "for building real projects with Ideavo's core experience." It includes unlimited projects, bring your own key or subscription, access to most features and community support. The page frames this as "We can't out-subsidize big AI labs. So Ideavo is free."
  • Pro, at $20 a month and marked Recommended. It adds everything in free, an ad-free experience, parallel tasks, collaboration, and community plus customer support. The page says it is for builders who want advanced features and an ad-free experience.

The homepage adds that the product is completely free to use with no credit card required.

The Agent+ service is separate. The company describes it as a service where AI-native engineers handle product development end to end, not a product plan. Its Agent+ page lists three lanes: Starter+, from $999 one time, for web and mobile MVPs built on Next.js (web) or Flutter/Expo (mobile) with a weekly delivery rhythm; Agent+ at $2,000 a month, for continued feature development, with 2-4 features a week, a 48-72 hour turnaround and unlimited design and code revisions; and Scale+ with custom pricing, a dedicated team and custom SLAs. The two pages do not fully agree. The main pricing page lists Agent+ as custom, with 1-3 features a week and a 24-48 hour turnaround, so ask for the current terms before budgeting.

Its FAQ gives rough project sizing. Simple projects start at $999, mid-complexity applications start from $2,000, and enterprise-grade platforms with multiple integrations are priced above $10,000. The same page says prototypes take 24 hours and production systems 2-8 weeks, and claims the AI-plus-human setup delivers software up to 3x faster than a freelancer or in-house team.

On trust, the homepage says Ideavo is "trusted by thousands of users and teams at major companies including Microsoft, Adobe, Databricks, Flipkart, and LinkedIn." That is the company's claim, and the pages show no breakdown of who uses what. Support is community support on the free plan and community plus customer support on Pro. The pages name no compliance standard or hosting region.

Who it suits and who it does not

Ideavo suits a founder or non-technical builder who already pays for an AI subscription and wants a front end for it, an agency that needs the code in its own repository, and an operations team that wants to build an internal tool or dashboard by chatting. Because it exports to GitHub and deploys to Vercel, a developer can take the output and keep going in a normal toolchain. The Pro plan's collaboration and parallel tasks suit a small team building together.

The caveat is the bring-your-own-key model. The free plan has no bundled AI model usage listed, so the quality and the bill depend on the provider you connect, and the free-tier models the company mentions come from third parties and change over time. The pages also do not describe a built-in database, templates library or app-store publishing, so a team that wants a governed platform with those pieces should look elsewhere. If you want a human team, Agent+ is priced in thousands of dollars, which is a different category of purchase from the $0 and $20 plans.
