What it is

BuildAI is an AI builder for custom apps and for "digital employees," agents that do tasks for a business rather than only suggesting them. It is written for founders who want to launch a product without a technical co-founder, small businesses that need their own client portals, workflows and dashboards, and service professionals who want to sell their expertise through an app. The company behind the site is BuildAI.Space LTD, and its footer sums up the offer as "Create AI-powered apps & digital employees instantly without code."

What you build and how

The home page frames the pitch as 3 jobs. Launch a product: "Describe your vision, launch your product, get paying customers." Serve your customers: apps or websites that deliver your expertise, content and services, with personalized AI experiences customers pay for month after month. Run your operations: internal systems such as client portals, workflows, dashboards and intake forms, in place of duct-taped spreadsheets and generic tools.

The build flow has three steps. You describe it, "like you'd tell a colleague." Then you build it, and you get a working app with AI, payments and users built in. Then you launch it on your domain. The company says it handles the complexity of databases, authentication and deployment. A prompt builder is the editor, with a helper for people who are not sure what to build and want to ideate first. The pricing page also mentions a "Space App" as the unit you get on each plan, and builder messages as the metered input to the editor.

Digital employees are the second product, and the one the company leads with. The product page says "Chatbots talk. Digital employees do the work." They draft posts, send emails, update CRMs and book meetings rather than only suggest them. They keep memory of your preferences, past decisions and business context, and they know when to ping you and when to stay quiet. You give them a goal, not instructions, and they check in before anything important. The example chat on the page shows the idea: asked to follow up all leads from this week, the employee answers that it is on it with 14 leads, will send personal replies and will ping you on the warm ones. Asked to create this week's content, it reports back with 5 drafted posts. You decide, and they execute.

You manage them "like texting staff." The channels listed as live are web chat, where you talk to all your employees from one inbox, WhatsApp, and Telegram with bot-style threads and group rooms. On the tools side, the page shows Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Slack, Notion and Sheets, plus 26 more, with a bring-your-own option, so an employee reads, writes and acts in the apps you already use and pulls live numbers from your sheets and CRM.

The company's own estimate is that digital employees give you 5 to 15 hours back per employee, with no salaries or hiring, and that they work nights and weekends. Treat that as a claim of the vendor.

A marketplace adds a second way to use them. If you train an employee that is great at a job, you can pitch it for the public Ready Team, and if the company lists it, you collect a monthly paycheck. An Affiliates page, titled "Earn from your employee," is linked from the footer.

There are also vertical and consumer touches. The site lists industry pages for coaches, real estate, med spas, fitness, restaurants, law firms, e-commerce, insurance, home services and B2B SaaS. One page turns an Instagram presence into digital products such as AI apps, courses and tools, with built-in payment processing. The footer links small AI tools, including an AI carousel generator, a pro headshot generator, a product photo enhancer and a trip planner.

The evidence

Plans are priced monthly, with a yearly toggle that saves 20%. The first figure below is the monthly price and the second is the monthly price when billed annually.

  • Discover is $0. It includes 1 Space App, 20 builder messages a month (5 a day), 20 monthly AI credits, 1 digital employee and publishing.
  • Rocket is $25, or $20 billed annually. It includes unlimited apps, 100 builder messages, 1,000 monthly AI credits, 3 digital employees, publishing and removal of BuildAI branding.
  • Moon is $49, or $39 billed annually. It includes unlimited apps, 250 builder messages, 5,000 AI credits, 6 digital employees, no BuildAI branding, a custom domain, priority support, a payment system for users and custom integrations.
  • Spaceship is $99, or $79 billed annually. It includes unlimited apps, 500 builder messages, 15,000 AI credits and 10 digital employees, with the Moon features plus premium support.
  • Galaxy is $199, or $159 billed annually. It includes unlimited apps, 1,200 builder messages, 40,000 AI credits and 20 digital employees, with the same feature set as Spaceship.

The comparison table adds 2 details the plan cards leave implicit. Custom domains come in numbers: 10 on Moon, 20 on Spaceship and 40 on Galaxy. Support runs Standard on Discover and Rocket, Priority on Moon and Premium on the top 2 tiers. The pricing page says to start free, with "No coding required," and its FAQ headings cover builder messages, AI credits, customizing how your app looks, and how the payment system works.

Who it suits and who it does not

BuildAI suits a solo founder or small service business that wants one place to build an app, take payments from its users and put an assistant on the repetitive work. A coach, a med spa or a home-services company can start on the free Discover plan with one app and one digital employee, then move up as lead follow-up grows. The plan ladder is clear about the cost of each extra employee, since the count rises from 1 to 20 across the tiers.

There are caveats. The free tier's 20 builder messages a month and 20 AI credits allow only light experiments. A custom domain, a payment system for users and custom integrations start on Moon, so a business that needs to take payments from customers on its own domain needs that tier or higher. The company also describes its digital employees mostly through marketing language and a few example chats, so a team should test one on a real task before depending on it.
