What it is
AI Backend Builder is an AI studio for generating whole applications from a description. The company calls it "the autonomous AI engineering studio for turning natural language prompts into production-grade websites, web apps, APIs, and scalable databases". It covers 5 builders under one roof: fullstack, mobile app, website, backend and database. The pitch is aimed at developers who want the plumbing generated for them and at founders who would rather describe a product than assemble one. The About page says the company was founded in 2024 by its software engineering team and gives its region as West Bengal, India, "serving users and developers globally".
The headline promise is to "go from a plain-English prompt or voice note to a production website, app, SQL database, or backend in seconds at ultra-affordable rates". The "in seconds" claim is the company's, not a measured result. What is concrete is the packaging: a browser studio, a Windows desktop app, an Android app, a template library and a credit-based price list with very low monthly plans.
What you build and how
The editor is a prompt, in a studio. You launch the web studio to "build, test & deploy apps". The home page says you can describe your idea in plain English, speak via voice input, or drop design references. The AI then generates fullstack code, interactive UI, serverless APIs and relational SQL databases, and the company describes 4 steps behind that: prompt ingestion, "multi-agent" synthesis of each layer in parallel, automated compilation and tests of types, data models, endpoints and security policies, then cloud deployment with a live preview URL.
Refining by clicking. The studio's Visual DOM Inspector lets you click any element in the live preview to inspect its styles, change attributes, or tell the AI exactly what to change. A viewport switcher simulates desktop, tablet and mobile frames, and "Instant Multi-Turn Undo" rolls back any generation step from a snapshot history. That gives a non-coder a way to steer details without reading the code.
Fullstack apps. The AI Fullstack Builder generates "complete end-to-end applications with integrated website UI, mobile apps, scalable serverless APIs, SQL database models, and cloud hosting". The company labels the benefits End-to-End Orchestration, Unified Stack Architecture and One-Click Cloud Launch. Each project runs, the site says, in an isolated workspace container with private tokens, separate cloud storage and its own database instance.
Mobile apps and dashboards. The AI Mobile App Builder is described as building "cross-platform mobile apps and web applications, SaaS dashboards, interactive customer portals, and real-time state workflows", with progressive web apps among its listed outputs.
Websites. The AI Website Builder turns descriptions into marketing sites, landing pages, documentation portals and portfolios. The company says the output includes Open Graph and Twitter metadata, JSON-LD schemas, canonical links and XML sitemaps, responsive layouts from 320px phones up to 1920px+ monitors, dark and light modes, and contact and waitlist forms wired to serverless functions and SQL storage. It also claims "95+ Google PageSpeed scores right out of the box".
Backends and APIs. This is the core of the name and the reason the product also sits in the API builders category. The backend builder produces serverless REST endpoints with JWT authentication, scoped API keys and role-based permissions. On the pricing page, running services are metered as API function calls (HTTP REST and WebAssembly), compute time, WebSocket messages and channels, SQL storage and queries, S3 object storage and outbound egress over a CDN.
Databases. The AI Database Builder generates normalized relational SQL schemas with entity tables, primary and foreign keys, indexes, seed data and migration scripts, "complete with an interactive SQL query runner". The plan tables describe the store as a unified SQLite database running in WAL mode on NVMe disks.
Templates. The templates page lists 6 blueprints, each with the prompt that produced it: an AI Task and Kanban Workspace, a Modern Cloud SaaS Platform website, a Crypto and Financial Asset Tracker, a Smart Notes and Knowledge Base with HTML and Markdown export, an E-Commerce Store with SQL backend, and an Autonomous Serverless API Hub. You can "launch any template directly in the studio with one click" or copy the prompt and adapt it.
Where you work. Three surfaces are named: the Web Studio in a browser with real-time code streaming, a Windows (64-bit) desktop app with local project caching and cloud sync, and an Android studio on Google Play with in-app billing and free daily ad credits.
Plans and pricing
Credits. Everything is billed in credits, at a fixed $1.00 USD = 1,000 credits. Prices can be shown in USD or INR.
Plans. The free Community tier is Android-only and ad-supported: up to 100,000 API calls a month, a 100 MB SQLite database, and up to 5 rewarded ads a day for credits, with community support. Starter costs $0.99 a month for 1,000 generation credits, up to 5 active projects, a 500 MB database and chat and email support. Pro costs $4.99 a month for 5,000 credits, unlimited active projects, 2 GB of database storage, and 25 GB of storage with 100 GB of egress. Ultra costs $19.99 a month for 20,000 credits, a 10 GB database, 100 GB of storage with 500 GB of egress, and priority 24/7 chat and email support.
Top-ups and usage. Booster packs add 2,000 credits for $2.49 (₹200), for accounts with an active subscription. Once plan credits run out, usage is metered: for example 200 credits ($0.20) per 1M API calls or WebSocket messages, 50 credits per 1M database queries, and 250 credits per GB-month of database space. A referral program pays bonus credits and commissions.
Refunds and cancellation. The pricing page offers a "100% Money-Back Guarantee (5–7 Days)", which the FAQ limits to plans where no credits were used; gateway fees are not refunded. You can cancel with one click from the dashboard or the Google Play subscription manager and keep access until the billing cycle ends. Payments run through Google Play and Razorpay, which the About page calls "PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway processing".
Support. There is a Support Desk, a contact form that asks "What do you want to build?", and a chat widget that says the team typically replies "in under 5 minutes". The About page lists support and business email addresses, and the About page claims "thousands of active users".
Who it suits and who it does not
The platform suits a developer or technical founder who wants a generated backend, an API and a SQL schema without building them by hand, and who likes paying a few dollars a month plus metered usage rather than a large subscription. It suits a hobbyist or student too, because of the free Android tier and the $0.99 Starter plan. A freelancer who needs a landing page, an API and a database for a small client project fits the all-in-one packaging.
It is a weaker match where you need predictable costs at scale, because a metered credit model asks you to estimate calls, storage and egress before you know them. Teams that want to work on a Mac or an iPhone will find the native apps limited to Windows and Android, with the browser studio covering everything else.
