What Bit Form is

Bit Form is a drag-and-drop WordPress form builder for site owners, marketers and agencies who want contact forms, lead capture, payment forms, event registrations and booking forms without slowing the site down. It is made by Bit Apps, a WordPress plugin company whose about page says it started in 2019 with Bit Form. The site announces "Bit Form V3 Released" and is offered in 7 languages: English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese and Indonesian.

The about page gives the reason it was built: "Most form builders were either too heavy, too complex, or limited important features in their free versions." The stated goal is "to help you create any form you imagine - at an affordable cost and without affecting your site performance."

What you build and how

The editor is a drag-and-drop builder inside WordPress. The company puts performance first: "Bit Form loads only 15KB of JS & CSS." The about page says everything from contact forms to payment forms, advanced multi-step forms and conditional logic is possible. Reviewers on the homepage describe the drag-and-drop builder as easy to use. The company's FAQ says you do not need to write a single line of code: "By using a style editor and workflow anyone can design and build a conditional form." The FAQ lists "6 columns to 60-column layout, a built-in style editor, 40+ field types, record edit, conditional logic, conditional integration" among its features, and says Bit Form is compatible with almost all WordPress page builders, naming Elementor, Oxygen, Divi, Zion, Thrive and Themify. One reviewer says it is "the only form builder that allows one to change background and font colors in the builder without code."

Forms you can try. The homepage embeds live demos with sample cake order, event registration, multi-step, customer complaint, calculator and conditional logic forms, so you can test conditional logic, customization and integrations before installing. The navigation points to form templates and calculator templates, and the footer lists a calculator form, a BMI calculator, a fuel cost calculator, a mortgage calculator, a VAT calculator and a BMR calculator.

Payments. Payment forms are a named use case. The homepage says payments go directly to your own payment account and that no addons are needed for them. The navigation lists PayPal, Stripe and Mollie integrations. The company also lists PaymentForm.io, a standalone SaaS product for creating payment forms and collecting money online. That is a separate product from the plugin.

Entries and follow-up. The footer lists features for front-end view and edit, form abandonment, PDF attachment, double opt-in and response management. Together with record edit from the FAQ, they cover what happens after a visitor submits: entries can be viewed and edited on the front end, partial submissions caught, and confirmations sent with a PDF attached.

Integrations. The company says Bit Form "easily integrates with over 50 platforms, including Zapier, Google Sheets, CRMs, and email marketing tools." The logo strip names AutomatorWP, ACF, HubSpot, Pabbly, WooCommerce, FunnelKit, Google Ads, PODS, Telegram, Zapier, Brevo, Google Sheets, rapidmail, Twilio, Zoho CRM, Acumbamail, Custom Post Type, FluentCRM, Mailchimp and Webhook. A reviewer says integrations connect to "email marketing tools to CRMs to payment gateways" and that they are easy to set up. Another says the integration feature can "connect to webhooks".

Developers. The navigation lists developer docs for an API, PHP action hooks and PHP filter hooks, along with a changelog, a documentation site, YouTube tutorials, forums and a Facebook community.

Siblings. Bit Apps sells other plugins, among them Bit Integrations, Bit Assist, Bit File Manager, Bit SMTP, Bit Flow and Bit Social. The homepage also names Bit CRM, a sales CRM, and To WP, which creates temporary WordPress sites to test plugins and themes for free. They are separate products.

Support and learning. The navigation offers a blog, a Facebook community for support and discussion, documentation with step-by-step guides, YouTube tutorials and feature demos, forums, and a changelog that tracks updates, fixes and new features. A reviewer on the homepage says "the tech guys, in the chat, on their website were HUGELY helpful" and that the integrations are "really easy to set up". Another says the team is "always quick to respond and super helpful".

What the pages say about price, scale and trust

The about and home pages publish no plan prices; prices sit behind the Pricing link and Buy Now button, and a countdown banner advertises a "Claim Your Deal" offer. On free use, the FAQ answers "Can I use Bit Form for free?" with "A few features are available for free. The Pro version includes more advanced features. It is optional to buy the Pro version or pay us for anything." A resources link compares Free vs Pro.

Company figures on the about page read: 7+ products, 45+ team members, 150+ countries served, 900+ reviews counted as 5 stars and 3.30 M+ total downloads. It also says "Bit Apps has over 67,000+ active users and a 4.8-star rating on WordPress.org", which is a statement about the whole company, not Bit Form alone. The origin story names the 2019 start. The about page's structured data shows a 4.9 rating from 209 reviews. Support runs through live chat and email, per the FAQ.

Reviews are positive. A quoted educator at InfluenceWP calls it "one of the most powerful, yet user-friendly, form builders we've used" and says the drag-and-drop builder, multi-step forms, conditional logic and integrations "make Bit Form a truly complete form solution for WordPress." Another headline calls it "the most comprehensive solution we've ever seen". A user review says "Free version is good enough for most site to use" and that the paid version is "very reasonably priced". Another calls the free version "powerful and generous" and says they replaced built-in page builder forms on client sites with it, while a review in the about page's data notes "There is a learning curve, yes" before praising the range of features. Several reviewers praise the support team.

Who it suits, and who might look elsewhere

Bit Form suits a WordPress site owner who cares about page weight and wants one plugin for contact forms, calculators, payments and booking. A marketing team can wire entries to HubSpot, Brevo or Google Sheets through the integration strip. An agency can build multi-step lead forms and calculator forms for clients and lean on the developer hooks and API listed in the docs. A small shop can collect payments through PayPal, Stripe or Mollie without a checkout addon.

The caveats are plain. It is a WordPress plugin, so it does not serve sites on other platforms. The home page does not spell out which features sit in the free version beyond the FAQ's "a few features", and one reviewer mentions a learning curve before the feature set pays off.
