What it is
SiteMojo is the website builder sold by Web Hosting Canada (WHC), a hosting and domain company with its office at 7250 Clark Street in Montreal, Quebec. It is a drag-and-drop editor with ready-made templates, aimed at a small business owner, freelancer or club that wants a site online in minutes and already buys, or is about to buy, hosting and a domain. Next to it WHC sells WebMojo App Builder, an AI tool described as "AI Websites and web apps, built by AI from one sentence", so the same vendor covers both the visual route and the prompt route.
What you build and how
SiteMojo's page lists four headline features under the title "Create and publish a website in minutes": a Drag & Drop Editor, 200+ Website Templates, Responsive Design and 24/7 Expert Support. Each has its own section.
The templates are the starting point. WHC describes "hundreds of free and fully responsive templates covering every need" and says you can use a template as is or adjust it in a few clicks. That framing suggests a builder where you begin from a finished layout and change it, not one where you assemble pages from a blank canvas.
The editor is a drag-and-drop interface. You place your images, text or videos on the page, and the company calls the editor "intuitive". No code is involved in the described workflow. Because every template is responsive, the page says the site keeps "a sleek appearance on all devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and desktops", so there is no separate mobile build to maintain.
Two features address people who already have a web presence. The first is import: you can bring your existing website content into SiteMojo "in just a few clicks" and begin editing at once, which lowers the cost of switching from another tool. The second is language reach, since the page states that SiteMojo "Supports 45+ languages", which matters for any business selling in more than one language market.
The AI side is a separate product with its own entry in WHC's menu. WebMojo App Builder is offered with a "Build for free" button, and its subtitle describes building websites and web apps from a single sentence. That puts it in the AI builder group: you describe the thing in plain language and the tool generates it. The menu also lists a WordPress Site Builder, "AI Describe your idea, and the AI will build your WordPress site", with a 14-day free trial. So a customer who wants WordPress rather than a hosted builder has an AI option too, though that is a different product from SiteMojo.
Publishing and hosting are part of the vendor relationship rather than a separate step. The "Easy Website Builder" blurb says you can "Get SiteMojo for free with web hosting", which means the builder is bundled with WHC hosting plans. The same menu covers domain name search, domain transfer and domain auctions, a free website migration service, Anycast DNS, business email, SSL certificates and SiteSafe malware protection. WHC also lists Pro Services for people who prefer to hand work off: web design by experts, technical account management, WordPress Care and Pro SEO.
For help, the support site at help.whc.ca is organized into categories with article counts. It has a Site Builder category with 11 articles, described as covering "tools and features used to create and design websites without coding". Other categories include Domain Name and DNS with 35 articles, WordPress with 24, cPanel with 22 and Emails with 25. The help site is offered in English and Canadian French, and the main site shows two phone numbers and a live chat prompt.
What the pages say about plans, limits and claims
The pages do not give a price for SiteMojo itself. The only statement about cost is that the builder comes free with web hosting, and the hosting price for that bundle is not tied to it on the page. Other WHC products carry published prices that give a sense of the vendor's range. Canadian VPS starts at C$18.50 a month, with 18% off at the time of the page. Dedicated servers start at C$149.99 a month. SiteSafe Protection starts at C$8.49 a month, and Domain Protection is C$9.99 a year per domain. These are not SiteMojo prices, and they apply to separate services.
No template limit beyond "200+" is stated, no page limit, no storage or bandwidth cap for the builder and no export option. WebMojo's "Build for free" button does not say what the free tier includes. The 14-day trial applies to the WordPress AI builder and not to SiteMojo. No customer count and no compliance claims for the builder appear on the pages.
WHC's help site also documents a sister product, MailerMojo, an email marketing service that is free with several web hosting plans and offers a 30-day free trial as a standalone. It is not a site builder, but it shows how the Mojo line is packaged: bundled with hosting, with a standalone option and a trial.
Who it suits
SiteMojo suits a Canadian or international small business that wants a template-based site and a single vendor for hosting, domain and email. The 200+ templates, the import tool and the 45+ language support make it practical for a business that serves more than one language market, and 24/7 expert support is a real draw for owners who work odd hours and have no technical staff. A designer who wants to build client sites quickly from templates can also use it, and the Pro Services menu gives a route to paid help.
WebMojo is for the person who would rather describe the site than lay it out, and it is the natural fit for a prototype or a first draft. The WordPress AI builder serves people committed to WordPress.
The caveats are about detail. The pages publish no standalone pricing for SiteMojo, no integration list and no data on what can be exported, so a team that needs connections to a store, a CRM or a database should ask WHC before committing. Getting the builder with hosting is convenient, and the pages do not say whether the builder can be used apart from WHC hosting. A developer wanting code-level control will find a no-code editor, not a framework.
