What it is
SitesPlaced is a no-code builder for online stores, business websites and portfolios, made in India and aimed at Instagram sellers, local shops, freelancers and students. The company's own description calls it "an Indian software platform that allows students, freelancers, and small businesses to create professional portfolio websites and e-commerce stores in minutes. No coding required." The home page leads with the store: you can open one free, with 0% commission and unlimited orders, taking UPI, cash on delivery and WhatsApp checkout. A paid AI Co-founder plan sits on top for people who want help running the shop day to day.
What you build and how
The store is the main product. On the free plan the home page promises a real storefront with unlimited products, 0% commission on every order, and UPI, COD and WhatsApp checkout built in. You can ship with Shiprocket and send GST invoices. A free store publishes on a sitesplaced.com address, and you share the link. The site's guides describe the path as picking a template, naming the store, publishing and sharing, and a go-live checklist covers products, payments, checkout, shipping, branding, policies and sharing.
The fastest way in is the AI importer. You paste an Instagram, TikTok, website, GitHub or Linktree link, or a DM2Buy or Shopexer page, and the company says its AI pulls your bio, posts and products and builds a real site or store in 30 seconds. You preview it and can publish free. The page also lists a PDF, a Shopify store or a Facebook page as other import sources. For people starting with nothing, the AI drafts copy and layout from a description of what you do, and then you choose a template.
Websites and portfolios are the second use. The Studio section covers business websites and portfolios from ₹199 a month for founders, freelancers, clinics and local services. You describe what you do, AI drafts the copy and layout, you pick a template and connect your own domain on the Starter plan, and the page says a dedicated person finishes the setup with you. Students are handled separately. They publish portfolios free, including the premium templates, and the page lists ₹99 once to remove the platform badge. The same site also lists one-off wedding and event invitation sites at ₹999 once.
Local businesses get their own flow. For cafés, salons and shops, the home page says you photograph your menu and get a website with WhatsApp orders. A loyalty QR stand gives every customer a stamp card on their phone, with a free reward when it fills, scratch cards and a QR code per branch. The page stresses "no app for them, no OTP". A gyms and studios line mentions a bookings CRM on the Growth plan.
Payments and shipping come as integrations. A list on a SitesPlaced blog page names, for the free plan, Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, PhonePe, Cashfree, bKash, cash on delivery, WhatsApp checkout, Shiprocket, Shippo, Qikink, Printify, Shipmozo, Rehbar Post, ChatGPT and Claude through MCP, store import, a developer API, WooCommerce and Shopify. The home page counts it as 19 of 27 integrations on the free plan. Print-on-demand works by connecting your own Printify account, and in India Qikink does the same job domestically.
The paid plans add the rest. Starter at ₹199 a month brings a custom domain, branding removal, AI copy, store analytics, custom head code and Meta Pixel with Conversions API, where you bring your own credentials. Growth at ₹499 a month adds Sell with Shiprocket, a one-click Fastrr checkout aimed at reducing RTO, Razorpay Magic Checkout, WhatsApp Business API order alerts, Judge.me reviews with import, Resend email and the sales boosters. The home page shows a welcome popup that reveals a coupon to first-time visitors and collects an email, and a floating WhatsApp chat bubble with a prefilled message.
The AI Co-founder at ₹1,499 a month includes everything in Growth. It is described as 4 agents plus a campaign planner, a creative studio for product photos, ad creatives and carousels, SEO and retargeting, upsells, and automations such as cart reminders, broadcasts, a storefront assistant, scheduled promotions and a Monday digest. You approve every change. The plan carries 1,500 AI credits every month, which the page equates to 1,500 agent messages or 125 standard images.
What the site states
The ladder of plans on the home page has 4 steps. Free is ₹0, Starter is ₹199 a month, Growth is ₹499 a month and AI Co-founder is ₹1,499 a month. The free tier carries 0% commission and unlimited orders. The ₹499 Growth price is billed as an early-bird rate for the first 50 stores: the home page banner shows 25 places left, and the company blog says the price then moves to ₹999 a month. The blog also says plainly that SitesPlaced does not print merch itself; you connect your own Printify account, which Printify then bills for printing, and the company calls that one more setup step.
The company blog says the platform has been covered by IANS and 200+ Indian news outlets, holds a 5.0 star rating on Google Play and powers dozens of live stores. The home page prints Google Play reviews from August and September 2026, including one that mentions a photo upload problem and says support followed up the next day. These are the company's chosen quotes. Support is offered through a WhatsApp prompt on the home page, and the site links a help center, guides and a blog.
Who it suits and who it does not
SitesPlaced suits an Instagram or WhatsApp seller in India who wants a real storefront without paying commission and wants UPI, COD and GST invoices to work from day one. It fits a café or salon that wants a menu site and loyalty cards with no app for the customer. Students get free portfolios, and a freelancer or clinic can start at ₹199 a month with a custom domain. A small shop owner who wants help with ads, reviews and customer follow-up has the Growth and AI Co-founder steps to move into.
It is a narrower fit for larger or complex builds. The site describes templates, imports and a store with a fixed set of named integrations, not a general app or workflow builder, so a team that needs custom data models or deep process logic is outside its scope. The site lists a developer API and WooCommerce and Shopify connections on the free plan for teams that need to connect other systems. Custom domains and branding removal cost extra from ₹199 a month, and the AI Co-founder is a separate paid tier. Merch sellers outside India need their own Printify account.
