What Swiftspeed is

Swiftspeed is an app builder for businesses that want a native iOS and Android app without writing code. Its homepage calls it an "AI App Builder for Native Mobile Apps" and says it has built 1M+ apps since 2017. It suits a small business owner, an agency or an operations team that wants an app under its own brand, and it lists a Wilmington, Delaware head office for Swiftspeed LLC. You can either describe the app to an AI agent or assemble it in a visual editor, and you can switch between the two.

What you build and how

The AI route starts with a prompt. The site says: "Tell the Swiftspeed AI agent what you want in plain English and it wires up the features, picks the layout, and styles the whole app for you." A live mobile preview updates as the agent works. You can refine mid-build with follow-up prompts such as "make it darker" or "add bookings," and you can take over manually at any time, at which point the agent steps aside.

The visual route is a drag-and-drop editor. You design themes, pick colors, rearrange screens with a drag, configure features in place and preview in real time. The site says there are 90+ built-in features that are ready to activate, and its showcase names music and podcasts, an online store, an AI chat assistant and fitness and workouts as example app types, along with business apps. The homepage describes apps as running natively on iOS and Android with no web views, and lists 3 platforms: iOS, PWA and Android.

The built-in feature set is the product's real depth. Push notifications can be scheduled, segmented by audience and tracked for delivery. Analytics covers sessions, screen views, events and conversions. For revenue, the site names AdMob, in-app purchases, subscriptions and a full e-commerce engine. Marketing and automation is described as built-in funnels and integrations. The homepage's integration strip shows AdMob, Stripe, Paystack, Firebase, MCP, Analytics, OneSignal and WordPress, and the footer lists WooCommerce and WordPress app builders, a website-to-app converter and a game app maker as further entry points.

One feature gets its own page, which is why the product also reads as an internal-tools builder: project management. "Boards, tasks, roles, time tracking and reporting are all included from the start, with sample projects so the app is never empty." The page walks 4 steps. You add the feature, make it yours by setting a theme and renaming labels, invite your team, and publish. Renaming matters: if your team says jobs, matters or shoots, the app says that too. Every visible word is editable, so projects can become jobs, sites or matters and tasks can become steps, tickets or visits.

Inside the feature, projects have a status, health, dates and a project lead. Tasks carry priority, due dates, estimates and labels, and work is assigned through a searchable picker of signed-up users. 3 layouts ship with it, a board, a schedule and a calendar, and dragging a card from To do to In progress to Done updates the status. Time tracking works by timer or by hand, and every entry can be exported to a spreadsheet. An assigned task sends the person a push notification and an email in your wording. Admin, manager and member roles each see a different app: a member sees only the projects they are on, a manager sees every project and the insights screens, and an admin also changes workspace settings. Reporting shows completion rate, overdue work, tasks by status and priority, and a contribution figure per person.

Publishing is the other strength. The site says the app is compiled into a real native binary signed with your certificates, in APK, AAB and IPA formats, with one-click builds for Android APK and AAB and iOS IPA builds with certificate management. It lists custom package names and signing, automatic icon and splash screen generation, and "source code export for full control." The editor can generate signed APK, AAB and Xcode source code. For the project management app the company says you publish to the App Store and Google Play under your own developer account, with your icon, name, splash screen and colors, and push notifications sent from your app, or you can share it as a web app with no store review.

Evidence from the product pages

The pages state no prices. Both pages point to a separate pricing page, and the homepage says only "Start for Free" and calls Swiftspeed a free AI app maker with core business features. No plan names, free-plan limits or per-seat figures appear. The project management page does make a comparison claim: Swiftspeed's cost as the team grows is "flat," against a competitor's per-person pricing, and it says you stop paying per seat.

Other stated figures are the 1M+ apps built since 2017, 90+ built-in features and a "99.9% Uptime SLA." The project management page says your data stays yours: you can export your time log and reporting data at any time while your plan is active. It also says the app is a real native app on iOS and Android that syncs when there is a connection. No compliance certifications, hosting regions or customer names appear on the pages.

Who it suits and who it does not

Swiftspeed suits a business that wants a branded app with a defined feature set: a team app for jobs and hours, a store, a content app with push messaging. The project management feature is aimed at construction snag lists, agency client work, field service jobs, maintenance requests and event run sheets, according to the company. The source code export is an escape hatch for a developer who wants to continue elsewhere.

Caveats are mostly about what the pages leave out. With no published pricing, you cannot compare plan limits until you open the pricing page. The feature set is broad rather than deep for any one vertical, so complex custom logic beyond the built-in features is something to test before committing. The 99.9% uptime figure is a stated SLA, and the pages say nothing about where apps are hosted.
