What it is

Resco is a no-code toolkit for mobile business apps. Its home page describes it as "a no-code toolkit for building responsive and resilient mobile business applications for Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Dataverse." The page's headline pitch is shorter. It is offline-first, configurable, and built to integrate with Dynamics 365, Salesforce and Power Platform, and it presents "one platform for field service, field sales, and inspections."

The reader it is written for is an IT or operations team that already runs a Microsoft or Salesforce back end and needs a mobile layer for people who work away from a desk. The pages also address partners who build their own offerings on it.

What you build and how

This is not a consumer app builder. You do not start from a blank canvas and invent a product. You configure a mobile app on top of data you already hold in Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Salesforce or the Power Platform, and your field staff use it on their phones, tablets and laptops.

The site says the toolkit lets you "rapidly create powerful custom or white-labeled business apps," using "over 800 ready-to-use features, pre-made templates, and code components." It names the starting scenarios as field service, field sales and property inspections. If you do not want to start from scratch, the home page says any of Resco's Mobile and Power Solutions can serve as a template for your next product.

The core building blocks are visible across the training sessions the site lists. A form designer is the center of it. One reviewer on the field service page says "the form designer is very powerful" and that it "allows me to create offline forms that can fulfill any customer requirement." The same reviewer praises the report design tools and user management. Business logic comes from a visual rule builder, and the free 4-part Business logic masterclass walks through it. Day 1 covers form rules. Day 2 applies logic to custom buttons, form commands, view logic, calendar behavior, scheduler and route planners. Day 3 covers inspections, with dynamic questionnaires, logic across repeatable groups and interaction with entity records. Day 4 covers JavaScript, including how Resco's JSBridge works and where JavaScript fits in forms, views, planners, inspections and the home screen. The site frames JavaScript as the step beyond what declarative rules allow, and says all of this is built without coding and stays offline-ready.

The field service page adds the day-to-day experience for the person holding the device. It describes "advanced mobile forms, questionnaires, and reports" that let technicians "capture data, photos, and signatures." It says custom dashboards pair with "full Microsoft Power BI integration." For sync, it lists advanced sync filters and optimized app storage, and claims "up to 10X faster sync than alternatives." A customer review on the same page says the platform keeps "fast synchronization and usage, even with millions of records for offline clients."

Devices are broad. The field service page lists desktops, mobile, smart watches, iOS, Android and Windows, and its platform list also names macOS. Its integration list names Dynamics 365, Field Service, Dataverse, Salesforce and Business Central, and the home page also mentions ServiceNow.

Operations and security controls sit on the home page. It says admin controls allow "precise access management and remote device wipeout," and that the platform is integrated with Microsoft tools for data storage and management. The company says it ships 3 major updates per year.

What the pages say about plans, security and customers

The field service page carries a pricing section. Its Ultimate plan is described as "field service automation, route planning, device management, premium support and mobile app with full offline," with a list price "from 50 € 55 $ /mo per user." The page offers a currency switch between euros and dollars, a Get a Quote button, and a prompt for "custom quote or enterprise pricing." A Start free trial button appears on the same page. Anything beyond that list price is a quote from the company.

On security, the home page states "ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification."

On scale, the field service page says "more than 160,000 satisfied users." The home page says "500+ partners use Resco Mobile Platform as the configurable mobile layer in their Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and Power Platform implementations," that it is white-label capable, and that partners get "up to 50% margins and 90% customer retention." Those are the company's own claims.

Customer evidence comes as G2 reviews quoted by the company. One, from a reviewer in logistics and supply chain, calls the API "flawless" and says it is "possible to configure the backend database to suit any need we have." Another says "most requirements can be met without coding, and for more complex needs, custom JavaScript coding is an option." A retail reviewer calls it "the most powerful enterprise mobility platform that I know." A case study listed on the field service page describes NOV building integrated RFID scanning into a mobile app for field technicians, and says it reduced asset verification time by 75%. The home page lists use cases such as servicing an oil rig far from shore, inspecting property in a remote area and visiting a customer outside the office.

Support and learning are visible too. The site lists a regular schedule of webcasts and masterclasses, among them a Power Platform masterclass on advanced mobility and an Inspections masterclass on enhancing questionnaires with Dataverse data. It also invites visitors to "let's talk about your use case" with "no sales deck or commitments."

Who it suits

Resco fits an IT team or a Dynamics 365 or Salesforce partner that must put forms, inspections, scheduling and reports into the hands of technicians, inspectors and field sellers who lose signal. The offline focus is the reason to choose it, not an add-on. A team that wants to avoid mobile developers can configure most of what it needs, then add JavaScript through the JSBridge where rules fall short.

It is a weaker match for a solo founder with a consumer app idea. The toolkit is organized around enterprise back ends, per-user pricing and partner programs, and the one list price shown is per user per month. Teams outside Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow ecosystems should check which of their systems it connects to before committing. A buyer wanting a firm total for a mixed deployment will need a quote.
