What It Is
Jagel is an Indonesian company that sells customer communication services and, alongside them, a no-code Android app builder. The company's site calls it "Indonesia's first full-stack CCaaS, CPaaS & SaaS solutions provider" and says it is "the pioneer in no-code app builder in Indonesia, serving business to go digital easily." The legal entity named in the footer is PT Masa Depan Siber Indonesia, with a business representative office in Jakarta and an operational office in Yogyakarta.
For this directory the relevant product is the app builder: small businesses and individuals pick a template, brand it, preview it and get a finished Android app file, with no programming. The wider platform (contact center, CPaaS, WhatsApp Business API, omnichannel messaging) is the company's main business, so a buyer who also needs customer communication gets both from one vendor.
What You Build and How
Templates. A Jagel tutorial on the company's blog states there are 7 template types: online transportation (ride hailing), massage services, PPOB (Indonesian bill and top-up payments), reservation services, restaurants, online shops and company profiles. The homepage lists the builder's targets in slightly different terms: Online Shop, Ride Hailing, PPOB, Company Profile and Online Services. The company describes the builder as a "free no-code app builder" that lets you "integrate your products and services into a fully customized app."
The build flow. The tutorial walks through the process step by step, and it is worth knowing that it starts in the Jagel app itself. You install the Jagel.id app from Google Play, register with your details, and you are taken straight into creating an app, beginning with a template. Then:
- Enter the app name, an app name code and an icon.
- Open the app editor and save, then return to it later for detail.
- Follow the guide banner on the AppKu (My Apps) screen. The first steps are verifying your email address through a confirmation link, then your phone number with a one-time code, then your identity: you photograph your KTP (the Indonesian ID card) and record a short video of your face with the card, which the team checks.
- Activate a free trial. The tutorial describes trials for the Bronze and Platinum tiers, and says that afterward you can try every feature on Jagel "selama 14 hari gratis" (for 14 days free).
- Edit the app. Ganti Layout lets you choose a different layout. Atur Menu, on the right of the app editor, shows every menu in the app, and the Tambah Menu button creates a new one; the tutorial's example is a text menu where you enter the information and save. A color editor sets background, text and icon colors.
- Preview the app, then tap Jadikan Aplikasi (Make It an App) and Jadikan APK (Make It an APK), and follow the instructions.
- Wait for the admin team to send word that the app is ready, then download it from AppKu using the download button at the top right.
Output. Jagel provides 2 formats: an APK file you can install directly on an Android phone, and an AAB file you can upload to the Play Store. That distinction matters: the APK is for testing and sideloading, the AAB is what Google Play expects. The tutorial, "Cara Membuat Aplikasi Android Tanpa Coding" (how to make an Android app without coding), is written around Android, and the builder app itself is installed from Google Play. Its sign-up blurb promises many template choices that you customize as you like, with a "Coba Gratis" (try free) button, and the same post lists drag-and-drop design among the benefits of building without code.
What the finished app does. The templates point at the business types above: a ride-hailing front end, a massage or reservation service, a bill and top-up payment app, a restaurant, an online shop or a company profile. The resources menu also links a separate Jagel Taxi App Developer page, a sign of how central the ride-hailing template is.
The rest of the platform. The homepage describes four service lines next to the builder:
- Contact Center as a Service, with "dedicated agents 24/7," described as a cloud-based service with Business Process Outsourcing, Manpower Process Outsourcing and Customer Relationship Management.
- Communication Platform as a Service, with inbound dial, outbound dial, auto dial and predictive dial.
- WhatsApp Business API, which the company offers through its own Whatsapp Business Account, with blog posts announcing a WhatsApp Business Calling API in Indonesia.
- Omnichannel, a CMS that brings together content from multiple channels, plus WhatsApp chatbots that handle routine tasks "like giving shopping advice, gathering customer data and feedback."
The footer groups products into Contact Center Solution, Contact Center Platform, No Code App Builder and Whatsapp API, and solutions into Marketing, Ecommerce and Finance. Its Resources links include Jagel App Builder and Jagel Taxi App Developer.
The Evidence From the Pages
The site publishes no prices for the app builder or for any other service. The homepage uses "Schedule Demo" and "Contact Our Sales" buttons for the communication services, so pricing there is a sales conversation.
What the pages do state:
- 14 days of free trial access to all features, as described in the tutorial, with Bronze and Platinum named as the tiers. The pages give no price for either tier.
- 7 template types, and 2 output formats (APK and AAB).
- "98% Average CSAT," shown on the homepage as a headline figure. The pages do not say how it is measured.
- "ISO 9001 & 27001 Standards Compliance," and a Security & Quality section that says the company safeguards business data with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 quality management standards.
- SLA Guarantees covering uptime, response time and reliability for business operations and communication.
- A site "located in the center of outsourcing city of Yogyakarta."
The tutorial and most of the blog are written in Indonesian, with the homepage in English.
Who It Suits and Who It Does Not
Jagel suits a small business owner in Indonesia who wants a branded Android app for a shop, a restaurant, a booking service or a company profile, and who would rather tap through a guided mobile flow than hire a developer. The 14-day trial with all features lets you judge the result before choosing a tier, and the guide screen walks a first-time user through each step. It also suits a business that will need WhatsApp messaging or a contact center in addition to the app, since Jagel sells those under the same roof.
It is a narrower fit elsewhere. The tutorial and its build flow are about Android, and the template list holds 7 types, so an idea that does not resemble any of them has little to start from. The guide is in Indonesian, sign-up includes ID-card verification, and the finished build arrives once the admin team has prepared it rather than compiling on the spot, which is slower than a pure self-service build.
