What TagMango is

TagMango is a platform for coaches, course creators and community owners who want to sell on their own brand and domain instead of renting space on someone else's marketplace. One of its own pages sums up the position: "TagMango's world is built around ownership. Your brand. Your domain. Your app. Your payment gateway. Your affiliate system. Your automation. Your students." The homepage says it runs on courses, community and gamification, and its rupee pricing, payment methods (UPI, net banking, No Cost EMI) and GST handling show that it is built first for creators selling in India, with room to charge in other currencies. The pricing page footer names TagMango Inc. and gives an operating address in Kolkata, West Bengal.

What you build and how

You build a creator business: a branded website, a course and community offer, a checkout, and optionally your own app.

Website and domain. The homepage describes a site on your own domain with your name in the address bar. It is built "no-code, simple prompts, multi-page if you want it", and the company handles servers, SSL and uptime. Learners log in on the site and go straight into their courses with the same account and session. The FAQ says a custom domain can be live 24 hours from onboarding, and that courses, communities and payments can be live the same day. The domain is a paid step called Freedom Setup, priced below.

Courses, community and gamification. The pages list these 3 together as what the platform runs on. The pricing page names the pieces: course storage and media uploads, DRM course protection, certificates you can design yourself, chat rooms, community channels and forums with threads, a storefront, landing page templates, refund automation, free products through 100% off coupons, and gamification. The top plan adds a Habit and Task Tracker, Challenges, Link-Up and Achievements, and Check-Up and Certifications. A customer testimonial on the company's site describes a Rs. 999 drip challenge that drove 90% engagement and 30 automated sales for a Rs. 60K program. Moving from another platform is described as moving "your course content and user-data" across.

Selling. Payments cover UPI, cards, net banking and wallets, plus No Cost EMI and FlexiPay for splitting a price into installments. You can charge in rupees in one market and dollars in another. GST, invoices, reconciliation and withdrawals are handled by the platform. The funnel tools are coupons that arrive pre-applied from a shared link, timers and seat limits, an upsell shown before payment completes, and a way to catch buyers who nearly purchased. For partners, you set a commission per product (percentage or flat), links are tracked, and lifetime linking means a referred buyer stays linked to the affiliate for future purchases. Link Up lets you send another TagMango creator a friend request and bundle your products, so one purchase delivers both and the revenue split is handled automatically. The company calls it the "only platform globally to provide this".

Messaging and integrations. WhatsApp automation and broadcasts are built into the platform, and the pricing page notes that you can connect any WhatsApp API provider. Email broadcasting and automations, landing pages, upsells and affiliate tools are built in too. Every plan lists Zapier and Pabbly integration for connecting other tools, and the Advanced plan adds Zoom webinars for 500 people.

Branded app. You can publish a native iOS and Android app under your own name on both stores. The FAQ says it is not a web app wrapped as an app: "Real app, Play Store and App Store, your name on it." The company handles developer accounts, submission and updates, and learners get single sign-on across app and website. Timing is stated plainly: around 60 days, mostly because of Apple's store review. The company describes the Enterprise route as the one where a student searches for your academy by name, finds your app and downloads it.

AI. AI features are sold as an add-on called AI-Verse. Mango AI is described as running the platform for you, Theme AI restyles the site to look like yours, AI Funnel Builder builds funnels and pages from a sentence, and AI App Builder lets you create custom apps and tools "without touching code".

Team and data. Teammates get their own logins with per-person permissions, and access can be removed in one click. On ownership, the company says you own your content and students, can export your data whenever you like, and can connect your own AI tools to it.

What the pages say about plans and limits

The pricing page lists prices in Indian rupees, with GST added, as a setup fee plus a plan. Commissions on the lower plans include the Indian payment gateway, and the page says the international payment gateway charge of 5% is extra.

  • Freedom Setup: ₹24,999 a year, to use your own custom domain.
  • Basic: no fixed fee, with 10% commission on sales. It includes 200 students, landing pages (3 templates), 20 GB of course media storage, team management, advanced analytics, chat rooms, WhatsApp automations and broadcasts, email broadcasting with 10 email credits per user, a storefront, certificates, and Zapier and Pabbly integration.
  • Pro: ₹5,000 a month plus 5.5% commission. It adds unlimited students and storage, refund automation, 50k emails a month for broadcasts, exclusive landing page templates, custom certificates and timers.
  • Advanced: ₹15,000 a month plus 3.5% commission. It adds community channels and forums, multimedia uploads, message rooms and threads, affiliates, gamification, DRM course protection, Zoom webinars for 500 people and upsells at checkout.
  • Ultimate: ₹30,000 a month with zero platform commission and only payment gateway charges (the lowest Indian gateway charge is given as 1.5%). It includes the AI-Verse stack with 1000 AI credits, a customer success manager, the habit tracker and challenge features, Sparks (200 GB, described as your own reels engine), FlexiPay, instant withdrawal, No Cost EMI and menu customization.
  • AI-Verse add-on: ₹50,000 a year with 1000 AI credits, for Basic, Pro or Advanced.
  • Branded Apps Stack: ₹74,999 as a one-time setup fee, with Play Store and iOS Store apps, a 30 Day onboarding manager and Zoom meetings for 300 people for 2 years.
  • Enterprise setup: ₹1,00,000 as a one-time fee, with everything in Freedom Setup plus the branded Play Store and iOS Store app and the same Zoom allowance.

The Basic plan works as a free plan: the company describes it as having no fixed monthly cost, with 10% commission only when you make a sale, and the site's button reads "Start for FREE". A testimonial from Praveen Calvin, a digital coach at Calzol Hub, sits under a ₹1 Cr in 1 day headline and says "TagMango gave me the backend depth and scalability I was missing with other LMS platforms." That is a customer claim presented by the company. Support runs through a support link, a book-a-call option and, on Ultimate, a customer success manager; the company also sends a weekly newsletter, The Mango Insider.

Who it suits and who it does not

TagMango suits a coach or course creator, especially one selling in India, who wants an owned domain, a branded app and built-in WhatsApp, funnels and affiliates without gluing together separate tools. The FAQ says it is aimed at one-person businesses too, with Mango AI doing the work you would otherwise hire for.

It is not a cheap path to a branded app. The app route costs ₹74,999 to ₹1,00,000 up front as a one-time fee, takes about 60 days, and your own domain adds ₹24,999 a year. A creator who only wants a free community with a few hundred members may find the 10% commission and setup fees heavier than a flat-fee tool. Sellers outside India pay a 5% international gateway charge on top of the plan's commission, and the payment methods the site highlights are Indian ones. The escape hatch is data export and integrations, not code.
